and_o ordinary_o at_o the_o end_n of_o the_o prayer_n one_o o●ght_n to_o recite_v that_o divine_a prayer_n by_o the_o which_o one_o crave_v of_o almighty_a god_n all_o that_o which_o may_v be_v which_o do_v great_o aid_v which_o be_v to_o speak_v unto_o almighty_a god_n one_o while_n as_o a_o little_a infant_n speak_v to_o his_o father_n another_o while_n as_o the_o servant_n speak_v to_o his_o master_n the_o vassal_n to_o his_o king_n now_o as_o the_o spouse_n speak_v to_o her_o betroth_a and_o sometime_o as_o a_o poor_a beggar_n to_o the_o rich_a as_o a_o guilty_a person_n to_o his_o judge_n as_o one_o sick_a to_o his_o physician_n and_o imagine_v himself_o like_a to_o the_o prodigal_a child_n lame_a leprous_a a_o traitor_n rebel_n etc._n etc._n 3._o it_o be_v also_o good_a to_o make_v some_o mental_a dialogue_n which_o be_v to_o introduce_v our_o lord_n or_o god_n the_o father_n so_o speak_v to_o the_o soul_n and_o say_v unto_o he_o such_o or_o such_o like_a thing_n and_o the_o soul_n answer_v he_o or_o contrariwise_o the_o soul_n speak_v and_o god_n answer_v she_o as_o touchinge_v the_o second_o one_o may_v make_v one_o colloquy_n only_o as_o to_o god_n the_o father_n or_o to_o our_o lord_n jesus_n and_o one_o may_v likewise_o make_v sundry_a if_o one_o will_n take_v a_o example_n of_o three_o colloquy_n first_o to_o address_v we_o to_o the_o bless_a virgin_n beseech_v she_o to_o obtain_v for_o we_o the_o thing_n which_o we_o desire_v or_o which_o be_v necessary_a for_o we_o and_o have_v pray_v mental_o to_o make_v another_o colloquy_n with_o our_o lord_n as_o he_o be_v man_n and_o our_o mediator_n beseech_v he_o mental_o to_o obtain_v for_o we_o the_o same_o grace_n and_o immediate_o to_o recite_v some_o prayer_n which_o be_v direct_v to_o he_o as_o anima_fw-la christi_fw-la or_o some_o other_o the_o three_o colloquy_n with_o god_n the_o father_n that_o it_o will_v please_v his_o majesty_n by_o the_o merit_n and_o intercession_n of_o the_o mother_n and_o the_o son_n to_o grant_v we_o that_o which_o we_o demand_v and_o at_o the_o end_n to_o recite_v the_o pater_fw-la noster_fw-la as_o touch_v the_o three_o albeit_o the_o proper_a place_n and_o time_n of_o the_o colloquy_n be_v at_o the_o end_n of_o a_o hour_n and_o never_o to_o omit_v to_o depart_v from_o prayer_n without_o make_v some_o kind_n of_o colloquy_n nevertheless_o one_o may_v also_o make_v they_o in_o the_o midst_n and_o at_o every_o point_n and_o consideration_n when_o the_o soul_n do_v find_v herself_o move_v and_o stir_v up_o to_o say_v or_o speak_v something_o or_o the_o better_a to_o continue_v attention_n and_o countergard_v himself_o from_o distraction_n by_o the_o mean_n of_o these_o little_a colloquy_n i_o say_v little_a because_o if_o the_o colloquy_n at_o the_o begin_v or_o midst_n of_o the_o meditation_n shall_v be_v long_o it_o will_v hinder_v the_o meditation_n notwithstanding_o that_o which_o come_v from_o the_o holy_a ghost_n can_v be_v but_o good_a whence_o we_o see_v that_o there_o be_v certain_a person_n who_o spend_v the_o time_n of_o prayer_n and_o meditation_n by_o manner_n of_o colloquy_n chap._n xxxi_o that_o which_o be_v to_o be_v consider_v upon_o the_o point_n of_o meditation_n have_v show_v how_o many_o thing_n there_o be_v to_o be_v do_v in_o the_o time_n and_o hour_n of_o prayer_n or_o meditation_n next_o we_o will_v note_v that_o which_o be_v to_o be_v consider_v upon_o each_o point_n wherein_o many_o do_v find_v themselves_o trouble_v not_o know_v what_o to_o think_v or_o meditate_v to_o help_v therefore_o all_o the_o world_n and_o to_o give_v unto_o all_o sufficient_a matter_n and_o mean_n to_o entertain_v themselves_o in_o meditation_n and_o to_o profit_v therein_o we_o will_v set_v before_o they_o sundry_a meditation_n which_o one_o may_v make_v upon_o all_o thing_n whatsoever_o they_o be_v note_v then_o that_o the_o matter_n which_o one_o meditate_v be_v either_o corporal_n or_o spiritual_a if_o the_o subject_n be_v corporal_a as_o be_v all_o the_o mystery_n of_o our_o lord_n one_o must_n upon_o each_o point_n consider_v these_o circumstance_n to_o wit_n 1._o the_o person_n who_o be_v find_v in_o this_o mystery_n as_o our_o lord_n our_o lady_n the_o angel_n gabriel_n the_o apostle_n etc._n
