life_n this_o he_o call_v legal_a though_o in_o the_o state_n of_o the_o law_n there_o be_v most_o perfect_a contrition_n in_o some_o the_o other_o evangelicall_a when_o one_o be_v greeve_v for_o his_o sin_n not_o so_o much_o for_o fear_n of_o hell_n as_o because_o he_o have_v offend_v so_o good_a and_o merciful_a a_o god_n which_o be_v always_o necessary_a second_o we_o hold_v confession_n necessary_a to_o be_v make_v first_o to_o god_n then_o public_o to_o the_o congregation_n if_o any_o man_n be_v excommunicate_a for_o any_o crime_n three_o to_o our_o neighbour_n when_o we_o have_v offend_v and_o wrong_v he_o last_o in_o all_o true_a repentance_n there_o must_v be_v satisfaction_n make_v first_o to_o god_n by_o entreat_v he_o to_o accept_v of_o christ_n satisfaction_n for_o our_o sin_n second_o to_o the_o church_n for_o public_a offence_n in_o humiliation_n to_o testify_v the_o truth_n of_o our_o repentance_n three_o satisfaction_n be_v to_o be_v make_v to_o our_o neighbour_n because_o if_o he_o be_v wrong_v he_o must_v have_v recompense_n and_o restitution_n make_v the_o three_o conclusion_n that_o in_o repentance_n we_o be_v to_o bring_v forth_o outward_a fruit_n worthy_a amendment_n of_o life_n whereof_o the_o principal_a be_v to_o endeavour_v day_n and_o night_n by_o god_n grace_n to_o leave_v and_o renounce_v all_o and_o every_o sin_n and_o in_o all_o thing_n to_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n the_o difference_n we_o dissent_v not_o from_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o repentance_n itself_o but_o in_o the_o abuse_n thereof_o first_o in_o general_n because_o they_o begin_v repentance_n part_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o part_n of_o themselves_o by_o the_o
