whatsoever_o he_o may_v forfeit_v it_o have_v always_o be_v think_v meet_v to_o allow_v he_o to_o plead_v it_o and_o it_o be_v to_o no_o purpose_n to_o arraign_v he_o of_o new_a for_o that_o or_o for_o any_o other_o felony_n except_o it_o be_v in_o a_o special_a case_n or_o two_o for_o the_o benefit_n of_o other_o person_n which_o m._n stamford_n have_v brief_o note_v for_o we_o 35._o the_o first_o be_v for_o the_o advantage_n of_o the_o king_n for_o if_o he_o that_o be_v attaint_v of_o felony_n have_v also_o commit_v treason_n then_o may_v he_o be_v arraign_v of_o the_o treason_n notwithstanding_o the_o former_a attainder_n to_o the_o end_n that_o his_o majesty_n may_v have_v his_o prerogative_n in_o the_o escheat_n of_o all_o his_o land_n of_o whatsoever_o other_o lord_n ordinary_a to_o make_v his_o purgation_n which_o also_o be_v of_o equal_a force_n with_o the_o former_a plea_n to_o save_v he_o from_o new_a arraignment_n but_o the_o law_n of_o our_o time_n have_v worthy_o take_v that_o plea_n from_o the_o offendor_n and_o the_o offendor_n himself_o from_o the_o power_n of_o the_o church_n 40._o for_o as_o the_o allowance_n of_o the_o book_n proceed_v from_o the_o pride_n of_o churchman_n even_o so_o be_v those_o convict_v ridiculous_o purge_v by_o they_o for_o which_o cause_n the_o statute_n of_o 11._o jacobi_fw-la ca._n 3._o ireland_n 11._o jacobi_fw-la pardon_n 41._o the_o pardon_n whereof_o the_o party_n may_v have_v advantage_n be_v either_o general_a or_o special_a by_o general_n i_o do_v here_o mean_v that_o which_o be_v give_v by_o parliament_n to_o all_o man_n general_o or_o with_o the_o exception_n of_o some_o party_n and_o of_o this_o pardon_n the_o court_n ought_v of_o duty_n to_o give_v allowance_n though_o the_o party_n neither_o plead_v it_o nor_o will_v accept_v the_o benefit_n of_o it_o but_o if_o it_o make_v special_a exception_n of_o some_o person_n than_o must_v the_o prisoner_n allege_v that_o he_o be_v none_o of_o those_o that_o be_v except_v unless_o the_o act_n itself_o do_v say_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v holpen_v by_o it_o without_o any_o such_o plead_n 11._o h._n 4._o 39_o &_o stamf._n 103._o 42._o touch_v this_o
