justice_n of_o the_o peace_n without_o give_v notice_n to_o the_o captain_n of_o the_o say_a fort_n or_o whosoever_o shall_v command_v in_o chief_a therein_o in_o his_o absence_n which_o say_v notice_n shall_v be_v sufficient_a leave_n to_o pass_v the_o say_a fort_n without_o any_o further_a charge_n or_o trouble_v whatsoever_o unless_o the_o say_a captain_n or_o other_o his_o subordinate_a to_o inquire_v into_o arrear_n of_o former_a subscription_n and_o tax_n and_o to_o levy_v the_o same_o arrear_n by_o warrant_n from_o the_o justice_n to_o the_o constable_n aforesaid_a and_o that_o the_o minister_n demand_v no_o fee_n in_o his_o own_o parish_n for_o christen_n marriage_n church_n or_o buryal_n under_o the_o penalty_n of_o five_o pound_n for_o every_o offence_n unless_o such_o as_o the_o justice_n and_o vestry-man_n shall_v allow_v any_o law_n custom_n or_o usage_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o the_o one_o half_a of_o all_o which_o forfeiture_n shall_v be_v to_o the_o poor_a of_o the_o parish_n and_o the_o other_o moiety_n to_o he_o or_o they_o that_o shall_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n within_o this_o island_n and_o forasmuch_o as_o many_o person_n who_o may_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n and_o the_o act_n for_o mend_v and_o repair_v the_o highway_n be_v tax_v and_o have_v nothing_o in_o the_o parish_n where_o they_o be_v tax_v upon_o which_o any_o distress_n may_v be_v make_v it_o be_v therefore_o enact_v and_o ordain_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o in_o such_o case_n from_o and_o after_o the_o make_n hereof_o a_o action_n of_o debt_n shall_v lie_v in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n or_o before_o any_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n as_o in_o other_o debt_n for_o the_o several_a churchwarden_n and_o surveyor_n of_o each_o respective_a parish_n and_o their_o successor_n to_o recover_v against_o any_o of_o the_o say_a person_n rate_v or_o assess_v by_o virtue_n of_o this_o act_n or_o any_o of_o they_o or_o their_o agent_n or_o attorney_n here_o all_o such_o sum_n and_o sum_n of_o money_n as_o be_v or_o shall_v be_v rate_v or_o assess_v upon_o they_o as_o aforesaid_a and_o that_o the_o same_o rate_n or_o assessment_n produce_v in_o such_o court_n of_o record_n or_o before_o such_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n as_o aforesaid_a shall_v be_v sufficient_a evidence_n and_o proof_n for_o the_o recovery_n of_o all_o such_o sum_n or_o sum_n of_o money_n so_o rate_v or_o assess_v as_o aforesaid_a provide_v nevertheless_o and_o it_o be_v the_o true_a intent_n and_o meaning_n hereof_o that_o no_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n and_o vestry-man_n shall_v have_v power_n to_o assess_v any_o such_o person_n or_o person_n as_o aforesaid_a above_o the_o sum_n of_o one_o shilling_n per_fw-la annum_fw-la and_o for_o every_o hundred_o acre_n of_o land_n and_o so_o proportionable_a for_o a_o great_a or_o lesser_a quantity_n and_o it_o be_v hereby_o further_o enact_v and_o ordain_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o any_o person_n or_o person_n aggrieve_v or_o rate_v in_o any_o such_o assessment_n or_o tax_n have_v hereby_o liberty_n grant_v to_o appeal_v to_o the_o justice_n sit_v in_o the_o quarter_n session_n in_o their_o respective_a precinct_n in_o this_o island_n provide_v that_o such_o appeal_n to_o they_o be_v make_v at_o the_o first_o or_o second_o quarter_n session_n after_o such_o tax_n make_v and_o not_o afterward_o and_o that_o there_o it_o appear_v to_o the_o say_a justice_n that_o he_o she_o or_o they_o be_v overrated_n tax_v or_o assess_v the_o say_a justice_n be_v hereby_o authorize_v and_o impower_v if_o they_o find_v he_o her_z or_o they_o so_o overrated_n or_o assess_v to_o ease_v he_o her_z or_o they_o as_o to_o their_o discretion_n shall_v seem_v meet_a but_o that_o no_o appeal_n shall_v lie_v further_o or_o to_o any_o other_o court_n or_o place_n in_o this_o island_n for_o any_o tax_n or_o rate_v make_v or_o assess_v by_o the_o justice_n and_o vestry-man_n of_o each_o respective_a parish_n in_o this_o island_n any_o law_n custom_n or_o usage_n to_o the_o contrary_a in_o any_o wise_n notwithstanding_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v and_o ordain_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o churchwarden_n of_o each_o respective_a parish_n within_o this_o island_n do_v buy_v or_o cause_n to_o be_v buy_v one_o fair_a well_o bind_v book_n wherein_o the_o minister_n and_o in_o case_n there_o be_v no_o minister_n there_o resident_a the_o respective_a churchwarden_n upon_o notice_n thereof_o give_v by_o the_o master_n of_o the_o several_a family_n who_o be_v hereby_o require_v to_o give_v such_o notice_n under_o the_o penalty_n of_o five_o pound_n shall_v register_n or_o cause_n to_o be_v register_v by_o the_o clerk_n of_o the_o vestry_n of_o that_o parish_n the_o time_n of_o the_o birth_n christen_n marriage_n and_o burial_n of_o all_o such_o person_n or_o person_n that_o shall_v from_o time_n to_o time_n be_v bear_v christen_v marry_v or_o bury_v within_o the_o say_a parish_n under_o the_o penalty_n of_o five_o pound_n for_o every_o such_o default_n and_o that_o the_o say_v clark_n or_o person_n that_o shall_v register_n the_o same_o shall_v have_v and_o receive_v as_o a_o fee_n for_o each_o entry_n fifteen_o penny_n and_o no_o more_o and_o it_o be_v hereby_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o such_o entry_n due_o make_v and_o keep_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v at_o all_o time_n hereafter_o be_v deem_v judge_v and_o take_v as_o a_o authentic_a record_n of_o all_o such_o birth_n christen_n marriage_n and_o burial_n and_o in_o all_o and_o every_o the_o court_n of_o record_n in_o this_o island_n but_o if_o any_o person_n hereby_o authorize_v to_o make_v such_o entry_n or_o any_o other_o whatsoever_o shall_v make_v or_o cause_n to_o be_v make_v any_o false_a entry_n or_o shall_v raze_v our_o or_o imbezel_n any_o entry_n or_o book_n of_o entry_n he_o or_o they_o so_o offend_v shall_v be_v proceed_v against_o and_o punish_v in_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o the_o law_n of_o england_n provide_v against_o such_o as_o steal_v raze_v or_o in_o any_o of_o his_o majesty_n court_n of_o record_n in_o this_o island_n wherein_o no_o wager_n of_o law_n essoin_fw-fr protection_n or_o injunction_n shall_v be_v allow_v any_o thing_n in_o this_o of_o port-royal_a do_v allow_v and_o pay_v unto_o the_o minister_n thereof_o two_o hundred_o and_o fifty_o pound_n per_fw-la annum_fw-la of_o currant_n money_n of_o this_o island_n and_o that_o the_o parish_n of_o st._n catharines_n do_v allow_v and_o pay_v unto_o the_o minister_n thereof_o one_o hundred_o and_o forty_o pound_n of_o the_o like_a money_n per_fw-la annum_fw-la and_o not_o less_o and_o that_o the_o parish_n of_o st._n thomas_n st._n andrews_n and_o st._n john_n do_v allow_v and_o pay_v unto_o their_o respective_a minister_n one_o hundred_o pound_n of_o like_a money_n per_fw-la annum_fw-la and_o that_o all_o the_o other_o parish_n within_o this_o his_o majesty_n island_n that_o either_o have_v or_o shall_v have_v a_o minister_n do_v allow_v and_o pay_v eighty_o pound_n currant_n money_n and_o not_o less_o as_o a_o constant_a yearly_o salary_n for_o the_o support_n and_o maintenance_n of_o every_o of_o their_o minister_n to_o be_v pay_v at_o their_o respective_a the_o profit_n of_o the_o same_o unless_o they_o produce_v due_a testimonial_n that_o they_o be_v qualify_v according_a to_o the_o canon_n of_o the_o church_n of_o england_n by_o have_v take_v deacon_n and_o priest_n order_n and_o the_o say_a testimonial_n to_o be_v record_v in_o the_o secretary_n office_n and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v and_o declare_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o no_o minister_n not_o due_o qualify_v as_o aforesaid_a presume_v to_o marry_v any_o person_n or_o person_n whatsoever_o under_o the_o penalty_n of_o one_o hundred_o pound_n currant_n money_n of_o this_o island_n one_o third_n thereof_o to_o our_o sovereign_a lord_n the_o king_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n for_o and_o towards_o the_o support_n of_o the_o government_n of_o this_o
and_o article_n the_o commander_n in_o chief_a with_o advice_n of_o a_o general_n council_n of_o war_n be_v to_o make_v and_o establish_v and_o the_o commander_n of_o the_o several_a regiment_n to_o in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n and_o all_o contract_v make_v with_o servant_n or_o slave_n to_o be_v utter_o void_a that_o if_o any_o servant_n or_o hire_a labourer_n shall_v lay_v violent_a hand_n upon_o his_o or_o her_o employer_n overseer_n or_o other_o person_n put_v in_o authority_n over_o he_o or_o she_o such_o servant_n or_o labourer_n shall_v for_o such_o offence_n serve_v he_o or_o her_o employer_n without_o any_o wage_n twelve_o month_n by_o order_n of_o any_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n on_o conviction_n that_o by_o the_o like_a order_n and_o conviction_n any_o overseer_n or_o artificer_n hire_a labourer_n or_o servant_n that_o shall_v embezle_n purloin_v make_v away_o or_o waste_v any_o of_o he_o or_o her_o employers_n money_n good_n or_o chattel_n not_o exceed_v further_o enact_v by_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o if_o any_o freeman_n of_o this_o island_n shall_v at_o any_o time_n hereafter_o beget_v a_o woman-servant_n with_o child_n he_o shall_v upon_o due_a proof_n thereof_o make_v which_o proof_n shall_v be_v by_o the_o oath_n of_o the_o
other_o to_o the_o informer_n who_o shall_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n within_o this_o island_n wherein_o no_o essoign_n protection_n injunction_n or_o wager_n of_o law_n shall_v be_v allow_v an_z act_z impower_a justice_n of_o the_o peace_n to_o decide_v difference_n not_o exceed_v forty_o shilling_n whereas_o many_o inconvenience_n may_v arise_v unto_o the_o any_o person_n or_o person_n for_o take_v any_o distress_n or_o sale_n of_o the_o same_o or_o for_o turn_v the_o course_n of_o the_o river_n through_o any_o person_n land_n or_o for_o cut_v a_o new_a channel_n through_o the_o same_o or_o any_o other_o thing_n do_v by_o the_o authority_n of_o this_o act_n the_o defendant_n in_o any_o such_o action_n or_o suit_n shall_v plead_v the_o general_n that_o all_o land_n so_o make_v out_o of_o the_o harbour_n or_o to_o be_v make_v shall_v remain_v unbuilt_a on_o and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v and_o declare_v by_o the_o aforesaid_a authority_n that_o when_o any_o fire_n shall_v happen_v to_o break_v out_o either_o at_o port-royal_a or_o at_o any_o other_o town_n already_o build_v or_o which_o hereafter_o shall_v be_v build_v within_o this_o island_n that_o two_o or_o three_o of_o the_o chief_a military_a or_o civil_a officer_n of_o the_o same_o town_n or_o parish_n shall_v or_o may_v and_o hereby_o be_v empower_v to_o give_v all_o such_o direction_n for_o the_o pull_v down_o or_o blow_v up_o any_o such_o house_n or_o house_n that_o shall_v be_v by_o they_o adjudge_v meet_a to_o be_v pull_v down_o or_o blow_v up_o for_o the_o stop_n spread_v and_o increase_n of_o the_o same_o that_o then_o the_o owner_n of_o such_o house_n shall_v receive_v no_o manner_n of_o satisfaction_n for_o the_o same_o any_o thing_n in_o this_o act_n or_o any_o other_o act_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o and_o whereas_o it_o may_v be_v doubt_v that_o the_o sea_n may_v encroach_v upon_o the_o southward_n part_n of_o the_o town_n of_o port-royal_a for_o the_o prevention_n whereof_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o all_o proprietor_n or_o owner_n of_o land_n or_o house_n their_o factor_n agent_n attorney_n and_o guardian_n of_o child_n or_o any_o person_n employ_v by_o they_o or_o any_o of_o they_o that_o be_v interest_v on_o the_o southermost_a part_n of_o port-royal_a from_o fort_n rupert_n to_o the_o house_n and_o land_n now_o inhabit_a by_o one_o edward_n watkins_n and_o know_v by_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o blue_a bell_n be_v hereby_o enjoin_v and_o oblige_v by_o this_o act_n within_o twelve_o month_n after_o publication_n hereof_o substantial_o to_o wharf_n out_o and_o secure_a and_o keep_v secure_v their_o respective_a proportion_n of_o land_n join_v on_o the_o sea_n with_o substantial_a wharf_n of_o last_a timber_n at_o least_o one_o foot_n into_o the_o sea_n under_o the_o penalty_n of_o ten_o pound_n currant_n money_n of_o this_o island_n for_o every_o year_n any_o such_o person_n or_o person_n shall_v neglect_v the_o same_o one_o three_o part_n thereof_o to_o our_o sovereign_a lord_n the_o king_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n for_o and_o towards_o the_o support_n of_o the_o use_n of_o the_o poor_a and_o the_o other_o three_o part_n to_o the_o informer_n or_o he_o that_o shall_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n within_o this_o island_n wherein_o no_o essoin_fw-fr protection_n or_o wager_n of_o law_n shall_v be_v allow_v and_o that_o the_o owner_n or_o proprietor_n of_o such_o land_n or_o house_n as_o aforesaid_a may_v be_v the_o better_o encourage_v to_o wharf_n out_o as_o be_v before_o appoint_v the_o street_n now_o call_v the_o church_n street_n shall_v be_v no_o more_o deem_v account_v or_o take_v for_o a_o street_n but_o shall_v be_v add_v or_o annex_v to_o each_o propriety_n and_o freehold_a in_o proportion_n to_o their_o respective_a interest_n bound_v upon_o the_o same_o for_o which_o consideration_n they_o be_v hereby_o from_o the_o riff_n or_o shoal_n or_o dig_v up_o any_o stone_n below_o high-water_n mark_v from_o the_o eastermost_a and_o southermost_a part_n of_o any_o of_o the_o cay_v lie_v off_o port-royal_a and_o that_o no_o stone_n simall_n or_o great_a be_v fetch_v or_o take_v up_o for_o ballast_n or_o any_o other_o use_n from_o the_o eastermost_a side_n of_o the_o point_n on_o port-royal_a so_o far_o as_o plum-point_n on_o penalty_n of_o ten_o pound_n for_o every_o such_o offence_n and_o that_o no_o commander_n and_o master_n of_o any_o ship_n or_o vessel_n cast_v or_o hoist_v out_o any_o hereby_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n of_o the_o same_o that_o each_o single_a spanish_a dubloon_n or_o french_a pistol_n shall_v be_v currant_n and_o pass_v for_o twenty_o shilling_n currant_n money_n above_o the_o value_n of_o ten_o pound_n currant_n money_n for_o the_o forbearance_n of_o one_o hundred_o pound_n currant_n money_n for_o one_o year_n and_o so_o after_o the_o rate_n for_o a_o of_o his_o majesty_n subject_n of_o this_o island_n for_o remedy_n whereof_o be_v it_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o no_o goldsmith_n or_o worker_n in_o gold_n or_o silver_n within_o this_o island_n from_o and_o after_o the_o first_o day_n of_o august_n in_o the_o year_n of_o our_o lord_n one_o thousand_o six_o hundred_o eighty_o and_o one_o shall_v work_v sell_v exchange_n or_o cause_n to_o be_v wrought_v sell_v or_o exchange_v any_o plate_n or_o other_o goldsmith_n ware_n of_o gold_n less_o in_o fineness_n than_o twenty_o two_o carrat_n and_o that_o from_o the_o time_n aforesaid_a no_o goldsmith_n or_o worker_n in_o gold_n or_o silver_n shall_v make_v sell_v or_o exchange_n in_o any_o place_n within_o this_o island_n any_o plate_n or_o goldsmith_n put_v to_o sale_n exchange_n or_o sell_v any_o plate_n of_o goldsmith_n work_n of_o gold_n or_o silver_n before_o he_o have_v set_v his_o own_o mark_n to_o so_o much_o thereof_o as_o may_v convenient_o bear_v the_o same_o upon_o pain_n of_o forfeit_v the_o value_n of_o the_o thing_n so_o sell_v or_o exchange_v and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v and_o ordain_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o whatsoever_o goldsmith_n or_o worker_n in_o gold_n or_o silver_n as_o aforesaid_a from_o and_o after_o the_o say_v first_o day_n of_o august_n shall_v presume_v to_o sell_v or_o exchange_v any_o gold_n or_o silver_n ware_n of_o less_o fineness_n than_o aforesaid_a for_o every_o such_o first_o offence_n shall_v forfeit_v treble_a the_o value_n of_o the_o say_a ware_n so_o sell_v or_o exchange_v one_o half_a whereof_o shall_v be_v to_o our_o sovereign_a lord_n the_o king_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n for_o and_o towards_o the_o support_n of_o the_o government_n of_o this_o island_n and_o the_o contingent_a charge_n thereof_o and_o the_o other_o half_a to_o the_o party_n aggrieve_v to_o be_v recover_v in_o manner_n and_o form_n aforesaid_a and_o whosoever_o within_o this_o island_n upon_o summons_n due_o serve_v and_o the_o defendant_n not_o appear_v judgement_n shall_v go_v by_o default_n in_o the_o same_o manner_n and_o form_n as_o in_o the_o supreme_a court_n provide_v always_o that_o it_o be_v the_o true_a intent_n and_o meaning_n of_o this_o act_n that_o as_o well_o in_o the_o supreme_a court_n as_o any_o other_o the_o inferior_a court_n within_o confession_n verdict_n or_o otherwise_o that_o the_o say_v money_n good_n chattel_n or_o debt_n do_v proper_o belong_v to_o the_o person_n so_o go_v off_o this_o island_n or_o otherwise_o absent_v or_o debt_n shall_v be_v dissolve_v and_o proceed_n have_v according_a to_o the_o custom_n of_o the_o common_a law_n but_o if_o the_o possessor_n or_o owner_n of_o such_o money_n good_n chattel_n or_o all_o summons_n as_o well_o from_o the_o supreme_a court_n as_o all_o other_o the_o inferior_a court_n within_o this_o island_n port-royal_a only_o except_v shall_v be_v deliver_v to_o the_o party_n on_o the_o say_a effect_n for_o satisfaction_n of_o the_o say_a debt_n any_o law_n custom_n or_o usage_n to_o the_o contrary_a notwithstanding_o and_o it_o be_v further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o where_o any_o prisoner_n or_o prisoner_n under_o execution_n shall_v have_v nothing_o to_o maintain_v he_o her_z or_o themselves_o that_o then_o he_o she_o or_o they_o disclose_v the_o same_o upon_o oath_n unto_o two_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n of_o the_o parish_n where_o he_o she_o or_o they_o shall_v be_v prisoner_n and_o make_v it_o appear_v to_o the_o judge_n of_o the_o supreme_a court_n that_o he_o she_o or_o they_o have_v give_v notice_n to_o all_o their_o creditor_n ten_o day_n before_o the_o say_a court_n that_o they_o or_o either_o of_o they_o intend_v to_o take_v the_o benefit_n of_o this_o act_n bring_v likewise_o to_o the_o say_a court_n a_o certificate_n of_o such_o their_o oath_n under_o the_o hand_n and_o seal_n of_o the_o say_a justice_n that_o then_o the_o prisoner_n or_o prisoner_n so_o take_v in_o execution_n shall_v be_v public_o let_v to_o hire_v at_o the_o say_a court_n the_o marshal_n receive_v for_o his_o fee_n a_o proportionable_a share_n with_o the_o other_o creditor_n and_o the_o money_n so_o arise_v from_o the_o say_a hire_n shall_v be_v pay_v to_o such_o person_n as_o the_o court_n shall_v appoint_v to_o be_v equal_o divide_v among_o the_o creditor_n as_o aforesaid_a but_o in_o case_n any_o creditor_n shall_v refuse_v to_o consent_v to_o let_v the_o say_a prisoner_n or_o prisoner_n to_o hire_v that_o then_o such_o creditor_n shall_v pay_v or_o cause_v to_o be_v pay_v to_o the_o say_a prisoner_n or_o prisoner_n three_o shilling_n and_o six_o penny_n weekly_a provide_v always_o and_o it_o be_v hereby_o enact_v that_o if_o any_o prisoner_n or_o prisoner_n so_o let_v to_o hire_n shall_v at_o any_o time_n afterward_o come_v to_o have_v or_o enjoy_v a_o estate_n have_v not_o first_o satisfy_v their_o debt_n that_o then_o at_o all_o time_n hereafter_o the_o judgement_n obtain_v against_o he_o her_z or_o they_o shall_v remain_v good_a and_o in_o force_n and_o another_o execution_n shall_v be_v take_v out_o and_o levy_v against_o the_o good_n and_o chattel_n of_o the_o say_a prisoner_n or_o prisoner_n wheresover_n they_o shall_v be_v find_v and_o be_v it_o further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o if_o the_o provost-marshal_n by_o himself_o or_o any_o of_o his_o deputy_n shall_v levy_v any_o execution_n in_o any_o other_o manner_n than_o what_o be_v herein_o before_o declare_v or_o shall_v ask_v demand_n or_o receive_v any_o mile-money_n for_o the_o execute_v any_o writ_n of_o execution_n or_o venditioni_fw-la exponas_fw-la shall_v forfeit_v one_o hundred_o pound_n currant_n money_n of_o this_o island_n for_o every_o such_o offence_n to_o be_v recover_v in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n within_o this_o island_n wherein_o no_o essoin_fw-fr protection_n or_o wager_n of_o law_n shall_v be_v allow_v the_o one_o moiety_n whereof_o shall_v be_v to_o our_o sovereign_a lord_n the_o king_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n for_o and_o towards_o the_o support_n of_o the_o government_n of_o this_o island_n and_o the_o contingent_a charge_n thereof_o the_o other_o moiety_n to_o the_o party_n aggrieve_v and_o it_o be_v further_o enact_v by_o the_o authority_n aforesaid_a that_o the_o several_a fine_n forfeiture_n and_o penalty_n beforementioned_a in_o this_o act_n and_o not_o declare_v how_o they_o shall_v be_v dispose_v of_o shall_v be_v recover_v in_o any_o court_n of_o record_n within_o this_o island_n wherein_o no_o essoin_fw-fr protection_n or_o wager_n of_o law_n shall_v be_v allow_v the_o one_o moiety_n whereof_o shall_v be_v to_o our_o sovereign_a lord_n the_o king_n his_o heir_n and_o successor_n for_o and_o towards_o the_o support_n of_o the_o government_n of_o this_o island_n and_o the_o contingent_a charge_n thereof_o and_o the_o other_o moiety_n to_o the_o informer_n or_o he_o that_o shall_v sue_v for_o the_o same_o a_o act_n appoint_v where_o the_o law_n of_o this_o
