may_v be_v present_v and_o indict_v and_o thereupon_o forfeit_v 10_o s._n beside_o their_o charge_n and_o in_o case_n ditch_n be_v stop_v up_o with_o mud_n or_o ouse_n that_o shall_v be_v drain_v to_o be_v too_o tedious_a for_o my_o intend_a brevity_n and_o many_o time_n a_o whole_a county_n iles_n chargeable_a to_o be_v rate_v for_o the_o repair_n of_o a_o bridge_n etc._n etc._n chap._n lxxxii_o the_o office_n of_o a_o surveyor_n in_o drain_n the_o road_n make_v presentment_n and_o in_o what_o case_n a_o justice_n of_o peace_n may_v present_v how_o the_o surveyor_n shall_v be_v reimburse_v for_o money_n lay_v out_o for_o material_n etc._n etc._n a_o surveyor_n may_v cause_n a_o watercourse_n or_o spring_n in_o the_o highway_n within_o his_o parish_n to_o be_v turn_v into_o another_o man_n ground_n or_o his_o ditch_n next_o adjoin_v to_o the_o say_a way_n for_o the_o conveniency_n of_o keep_v the_o road_n dry_a as_o in_o his_o discretion_n shall_v seem_v fit_v dalt_n chap._n 50._o fol._n 103._o the_o surveyor_n o_o any_o one_o of_o they_o have_v power_n to_o present_v to_o the_o next_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n every_o default_n upon_o the_o 2_o and_o 3_o of_o philip_n and_o mary_n chap._n 8._o and_o 5_o eliz._n chap._n 14._o within_o one_o month_n after_o the_o default_n make_v on_o the_o penalty_n of_o 40_o s._n and_o the_o justice_n under_o penalty_n of_o 5_o l._n must_v certify_v the_o same_o at_o the_o next_o quarter-session_n where_o the_o bench_n of_o justice_n have_v power_n to_o inquire_v of_o the_o default_n and_o to_o set_v such_o fine_a on_o the_o
