vessel_n in_o any_o the_o street_n lane_n or_o other_o passage_n aforesaid_a nor_o set_v out_o any_o empty_a coach_n to_o make_v or_o mend_v or_o rough_a timber_n or_o stone_n to_o be_v saw_v or_o wrought_v in_o the_o street_n upon_o pain_n of_o twenty_o shilling_n for_o every_o offence_n the_o raker_n scavenger_n and_o officer_n hereunto_o appoint_v every_o day_n in_o the_o week_n except_o sunday_n and_o other_o holylaye_n shall_v bring_v cart_n dung-pot_n or_o other_o fit_a carriage_n into_o all_o the_o street_n within_o their_o respective_a ward_n parish_n and_o division_n where_o such_o cart_n etc._n etc._n can_v pass_v and_o at_o or_o before_o their_o approach_n by_o bell_n clapper_n or_o otherwise_o shall_v make_v loud_a noise_n and_o give_v notice_n to_o the_o inhabitant_n sufficient_o repair_v and_o pave_v and_o keep_v pave_v and_o sufficient_o repair_v at_o the_o cost_n of_o the_o householder_n in_o the_o say_a street_n lane_n etc._n etc._n respective_o viz._n every_o housholder_n to_o repair_v and_o pave_v and_o keep_v repair_v and_o pave_v the_o street_n and_o lane_n etc._n etc._n before_o his_o house_n unto_o the_o channel_n or_o middle_n of_o the_o same_o street_n or_o lane_n etc._n etc._n upon_o pain_n of_o forfeit_n twenty_o shilling_n for_o every_o rod_n and_o after_o that_o proportion_n for_o a_o less_o quantity_n for_o every_o default_n and_o twenty_o shilling_n a_o week_n for_o every_o week_n after_o till_o it_o be_v sufficient_o pave_v and_o amend_v provide_v such_o ancient_a street_n lane_n etc._n etc._n within_o the_o say_a city_n or_o either_o of_o they_o the_o suburb_n or_o liberty_n thereof_o as_o by_o custom_n and_o usage_n have_v be_v repair_v in_o other_o manner_n shall_v be_v hereafter_o repair_v pave_v and_o amend_v in_o such_o sort_n by_o such_o person_n as_o have_v use_v to_o repair_v pave_v and_o maintain_v the_o same_o under_o the_o penalty_n aforesaid_a every_o housholder_n within_o the_o say_a city_n and_o place_n aforesaid_a who_o house_n adjoin_v unto_o or_o be_v next_o the_o street_n from_o michaelmas_n till_o our_o lady-day_n yearly_a shall_v set_v or_o hang_v out_o candle_n or_o light_n in_o lantern_n or_o otherwise_o in_o some_o part_n of_o his_o house_n next_o the_o street_n to_o enlighten_v the_o same_o for_o passenger_n from_o such_o time_n as_o it_o shall_v grow_v dark_a until_o nine_o of_o the_o clock_n in_o the_o evening_n upon_o pain_n of_o 1._o sh_n for_o every_o default_n every_o justice_n of_o either_o bench_n baâ—on_n of_o the_o exchequer_n and_o justice_n of_o â—he_n peace_n of_o london_n and_o wistminster_n â—ave_n power_n on_o their_o own_o view_n or_o proof_n by_o one_o witness_n upon_o oath_n to_o convict_v person_n offend_v against_o this_o act_n and_o to_o dispose_v the_o penalty_n towards_o mend_v and_o cleanse_v the_o stree_n if_o upon_o proof_n half_a to_o the_o party_n inform_v if_o uqon_a conviction_n by_o view_n than_o the_o whole_a to_o the_o repair_n and_o cleanse_v the_o street_n or_o way_n to_o be_v levy_v by_o warrant_n from_o any_o justice_n under_o his_o hand_n and_o seal_v direct_v to_o the_o constable_n or_o other_o officer_n of_o the_o same_o parish_n by_o distress_n and_o sale_n of_o his_o good_n and_o for_o default_n if_o no_o peer_n imprisonment_n until_o payment_n within_o london_n and_o the_o liberty_n thereof_o the_o scavenger_n raker_n and_o such_o like_a officer_n shall_v be_v elect_v and_o the_o rate_n and_o assessment_n for_o they_o for_o the_o cleanse_n of_o the_o street_n shall_v be_v rate_v raise_v and_o pay_v by_o the_o parishioner_n and_o inhabitant_n of_o every_o parish_n and_o precinct_n according_a to_o the_o ancient_a custom_n and_o usage_n of_o the_o city_n and_o all_o new_a message_n tenement_n and_o house_n shall_v be_v rate_v and_o assess_v and_o pay_v proportionable_a with_o
