1._o to_o the_o purity_n the_o glory_n the_o will_n of_o he_o that_o be_v the_o chief_a good._n be_v he_o the_o chief_a good_n then_o certain_o whatsoever_o be_v contrary_a to_o his_o purity_n glory_n or_o will_v can_v choose_v but_o be_v the_o chief_a evil_n and_o consequent_o the_o object_n of_o thy_o hatred_n and_o of_o thy_o grief_n be_v thy_o conformity_n to_o his_o nature_n and_o will_n the_o necessary_a consequence_n of_o thy_o love_n unto_o he_o that_o then_o that_o spoil_v that_o conformity_n to_o he_o can_v choose_v but_o be_v thy_o sorrow_n thou_o love_v he_o because_o he_o be_v the_o exact_a obedience_n of_o his_o creature_n yet_o such_o be_v his_o goodness_n that_o he_o make_v himself_o a_o debtor_n even_o to_o his_o own_o creature_n enter_v into_o a_o covenant_n of_o life_n with_o he_o thereby_o to_o encourage_v his_o obedience_n and_o this_o for_o no_o other_o cause_n but_o because_o his_o mercy_n endure_v for_o ever_o for_o can_v a_o man_n be_v profitable_a to_o god_n job_n 22.2_o and_o for_o a_o man_n to_o sin_n against_o so_o much_o condescension_n of_o a_o infinite_a god_n to_o his_o own_o creature_n again_o consider_v when_o against_o so_o much_o mercy_n and_o love_n thou_o have_v offend_v thy_o maker_n and_o even_o by_o thy_o own_o contract_n as_o well_o as_o by_o the_o just_a and_o universal_a right_o that_o god_n have_v over_o his_o creature_n have_v forfeit_v thy_o be_v to_o thy_o creator_n yet_o he_o take_v not_o the_o advantage_n of_o it_o remit_v thy_o forfeiture_n and_o send_v a_o sacrifice_n in_o thy_o stead_n of_o his_o own_o imprint_v upon_o thy_o soul_n to_o prefer_v a_o base_a unworthy_a perish_v unprofitable_a lust_n or_o vanity_n before_o the_o honour_n of_o such_o a_o god_n the_o love_n of_o such_o a_o saviour_n the_o persuasion_n and_o importunity_n of_o such_o a_o spirit_n before_o thy_o own_o peace_n perfection_n and_o happiness_n to_o vex_v and_o oppress_v and_o despise_v the_o patience_n and_o bounty_n of_o he_o that_o have_v do_v all_o this_o for_o thou_o and_o give_v thou_o yet_o a_o hour_n of_o life_n to_o consider_v of_o it_o and_o a_o promise_n of_o grace_n and_o pardon_v after_o all_o this_o if_o thou_o can_v but_o mourn_v over_o thy_o sin_n thy_o unthankfulness_n thy_o unworthy_a and_o disingenuous_a deal_n with_o thy_o god._n lay_v the_o weight_n of_o these_o and_o the_o like_a sorrow_n that_o shall_v end_v in_o a_o fullness_n of_o joy._n sorrow_n for_o sin_n as_o for_o a_o necessary_a cause_n of_o misery_n may_v end_v in_o desperation_n because_o it_o arise_v from_o love_n of_o ourselves_o but_o sorrow_n for_o sin_n as_o for_o a_o ununthankful_a return_n of_o so_o much_o love_n from_o god_n can_v because_o the_o love_n of_o god_n be_v under_o that_o sorrow_n and_o the_o spring_n of_o those_o tear_n be_v a_o spring_n of_o life_n and_o comfort_n 3._o contrary_n to_o that_o good_a which_o we_o lose_v by_o it_o 1._o our_o conformity_n to_o the_o mind_n and_o will_n of_o god_n be_v our_o perfection_n and_o the_o near_a our_o conformity_n come_v to_o his_o will_n the_o more_o perfect_a be_v our_o be_v sin_n which_o be_v a_o violation_n of_o that_o will_n of_o he_o spoil_n and_o disorder_v this_o conformity_n and_o so_o it_o interrupt_v that_o inherent_a good_a which_o otherwise_o will_v be_v in_o we_o 2._o as_o it_o destroy_v our_o conformity_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o so_o spoil_v we_o of_o our_o inherent_a good_a so_o it_o interrupt_v that_o communicative_a good_a that_o influence_n of_o life_n and_o comfort_n which_o we_o have_v from_o god_n it_o remove_v we_o to_o a_o great_a distance_n from_o he_o it_o displace_v we_o from_o that_o position_n in_o which_o and_o by_o which_o the_o goodness_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v derive_v and_o convey_v to_o we_o we_o be_v by_o it_o out_o of_o that_o covenant_n that_o promise_v which_o god_n have_v make_v with_o his_o creature_n we_o be_v by_o it_o without_o the_o comfortable_a presence_n of_o god_n without_o that_o confidence_n that_o we_o may_v otherwise_o have_v in_o he_o out_o of_o the_o assurance_n of_o his_o providence_n and_o protection_n it_o make_v our_o soul_n in_o the_o midst_n of_o all_o fruition_n of_o outward_a blessing_n full_a of_o doubtful_a anxiety_n fear_n and_o
glory_n so_o every_o creature_n have_v a_o conformity_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n be_v move_v by_o he_o towards_o that_o end._n and_o as_o this_o be_v the_o great_a and_o chief_a end_n of_o all_o creature_n and_o action_n so_o the_o motion_n towards_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v the_o most_o perfect_a operation_n of_o the_o creature_n and_o as_o this_o truth_n be_v sound_v in_o nature_n and_o reason_n so_o it_o be_v the_o good_a pleasure_n of_o almighty_n god_n to_o join_v the_o perfection_n and_o happiness_n of_o the_o creature_n in_o this_o conformity_n to_o his_o mind_n and_o will._n when_o any_o thing_n therefore_o continue_v in_o a_o universal_a free_a subjection_n and_o subservience_n to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n as_o that_o very_a subjection_n and_o subservience_n be_v a_o honour_n to_o the_o lord_n of_o his_o be_v so_o by_o that_o subjection_n and_o subservience_n be_v the_o creature_n move_v and_o manage_v to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n even_o to_o the_o fulfil_n of_o
