from_o he_o and_o tempt_v they_o to_o blot_v he_o out_o of_o their_o thought_n his_o kingdom_n be_v of_o another_o world_n none_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o this_o be_v necessary_a to_o the_o attainment_n of_o it_o and_o as_o we_o do_v not_o find_v that_o our_o lord_n make_v any_o promise_n to_o christian_n of_o a_o abundance_n of_o thing_n high_o value_v by_o the_o man_n of_o this_o world_n so_o neither_o do_v we_o observe_v that_o he_o treat_v great_a man_n with_o more_o respect_n or_o give_v they_o cause_n to_o expect_v they_o shall_v have_v kind_a usage_n or_o receive_v more_o favour_n from_o he_o than_o the_o poor_a and_o those_o of_o low_a rank_n he_o have_v make_v no_o special_a promise_n to_o the_o rich_a and_o celebrate_v and_o popular_a person_n but_o the_o beatitude_n descend_v upon_o the_o head_n of_o man_n of_o quite_o other_o qualification_n not_o their_o outward_a circumstance_n but_o the_o holy_a disposition_n in_o their_o soul_n procure_v and_o fetch_v down_o his_o blessing_n he_o bless_v the_o humble_a the_o poor_a in_o spirit_n the_o holy_a mourner_n the_o meek_a they_o that_o hunger_n and_o thirst_n after_o righteousness_n and_o earnest_o desire_v to_o fulfil_v god_n just_a and_o good_a will_n the_o merciful_a the_o pure_a in_o heart_n the_o peacemaker_n and_o they_o that_o suffer_v persecution_n and_o be_v evil_a speak_v of_o by_o all_o for_o righteousness_n sake_n and_o hence_o it_o follow_v that_o no_o body_n by_o reason_n of_o their_o wealth_n or_o honour_n be_v great_a object_n of_o christ_n love_n or_o come_v more_o within_o the_o verge_n of_o his_o care_n but_o that_o man_n of_o mean_a and_o contemptible_a state_n be_v as_o much_o under_o the_o protection_n of_o his_o providence_n as_o those_o of_o high_a quality_n have_v as_o plentiful_a a_o portion_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o stand_v in_o as_o near_o a_o capacity_n to_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n have_v our_o lord_n come_v into_o the_o world_n encircle_v with_o all_o that_o pomp_n and_o power_n which_o the_o jew_n expect_v the_o messiah_n shall_v appear_v with_o as_o he_o can_v have_v be_v no_o example_n of_o suffering_n to_o his_o follower_n so_o will_v they_o have_v be_v tempt_v to_o arrive_v at_o some_o degree_n of_o their_o master_n glory_n and_o have_v set_v their_o heart_n upon_o the_o greatness_n and_o splendour_n of_o the_o present_a state_n when_o it_o be_v so_o principal_a a_o part_n of_o his_o work_n to_o teach_v his_o disciple_n to_o neglect_v and_o despise_v they_o since_o then_o the_o possession_n of_o a_o large_a portion_n of_o worldly_a good_n be_v no_o part_n of_o the_o bargain_n jesus_n christ_n make_v with_o man_n in_o his_o religion_n who_o only_o promise_v a_o supply_n of_o the_o necessary_n of_o
