the_o ambiguous_a signification_n and_o various_a use_n of_o that_o term_n condition_n we_o can_v certain_o understand_v what_o be_v intend_v in_o the_o assertion_n if_o no_o more_o be_v intend_v but_o that_o god_n in_o and_o by_o the_o new_a covenant_n do_v indispensible_o require_v these_o thing_n of_o we_o that_o be_v the_o restipulation_n of_o a_o good_a conscience_n towards_o god_n by_o the_o resurrection_n of_o christ_n from_o the_o dead_a in_o order_n unto_o his_o own_o glory_n and_o our_o full_a enjoyment_n of_o all_o the_o benefit_n of_o it_o it_o be_v unquestionable_o true_a but_o if_o it_o be_v intend_v that_o they_o be_v such_o a_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n as_o to_o be_v by_o we_o perform_v antecedent_o unto_o the_o participation_n of_o any_o grace_n mercy_n or_o privilege_n of_o it_o so_o as_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v the_o consideration_n and_o procure_a cause_n of_o they_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v all_o of_o they_o as_o some_o speak_v the_o reward_n of_o our_o faith_n and_o obedience_n it_o be_v most_o false_a and_o not_o only_o contrary_a to_o express_v testimony_n of_o scripture_n but_o destructive_a of_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o covenant_n itself_o if_o it_o be_v intend_v that_o these_o thing_n though_o promise_v in_o the_o covenant_n and_o wrought_v in_o we_o by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v yet_o duty_n require_v of_o we_o in_o order_n unto_o the_o participation_n and_o enjoyment_n of_o the_o full_a end_n of_o the_o covenant_n in_o glory_n it_o be_v the_o truth_n which_o be_v assert_v but_o if_o it_o be_v say_v that_o faith_n and_o new_a obedience_n that_o be_v the_o work_n of_o righteousness_n which_o we_o do_v be_v so_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n as_o that_o whatever_o the_o one_o be_v ordain_v of_o god_n as_o a_o mean_n of_o and_o in_o order_n to_o such_o or_o such_o a_o end_n as_o justification_n that_o the_o other_o be_v likewise_o ordain_v unto_o the_o same_o end_n with_o the_o 16_o 17_o 18_o 19_o 20._o and_o he_o compare_v his_o blood_n in_o his_o death_n and_o sacrifice_n of_o himself_o unto_o the_o sacrifice_n and_o their_o blood_n whereby_o the_o old_a covenant_n be_v
