say_v as_o further_o declare_v our_o opinion_n that_o god_n for_o perfect_v of_o this_o do_v appoint_v that_o these_o miserable_a soul_n shall_v necessary_o sin_v resp._n here_o be_v more_o mistake_n for_o first_o we_o say_v not_o that_o reprobation_n impose_v any_o necessity_n of_o sin_v the_o decree_n to_o punish_v for_o sin_n do_v not_o impose_v a_o necessity_n on_o the_o sinner_n to_o sin_n nor_o yet_o the_o decree_n of_o deny_v grace_n whereby_o they_o may_v be_v deliver_v from_o their_o sin_n for_o that_o be_v only_o a_o decree_n of_o not_o deliver_v they_o out_o of_o that_o state_n wherein_o they_o have_v bring_v themselves_o under_o a_o necessity_n of_o sin_v and_o so_o impose_v no_o necessity_n next_o as_o to_o god_n decree_v or_o will_v that_o sin_n shall_v exist_v through_o his_o permission_n which_o do_v not_o proper_o belong_v to_o this_o question_n neither_o do_v that_o impose_v any_o absolute_a necessity_n or_o take_v away_o the_o liberty_n of_o man_n will_n or_o the_o contingency_n of_o event_n as_o to_o second_o cause_n and_o it_o will_v seem_v this_o man_n know_v no_o difference_n betwixt_o a_o absolute_a necessity_n and_o that_o necessity_n which_o be_v mere_o hypothetical_n but_o three_o there_o be_v another_o mistake_n here_o for_o he_o will_v make_v his_o reader_n believe_v that_o we_o say_v that_o all_o the_o necessity_n of_o sin_v do_v flow_v from_o reprobation_n as_o if_o no_o necessity_n of_o sin_v arise_v from_o their_o sinful_a state_n wherein_o they_o be_v by_o the_o transgression_n of_o adam_n beside_o that_o we_o may_v observe_v how_o in_o this_o sentence_n he_o contradict_v what_o he_o say_v in_o the_o former_a he_o add_v that_o by_o his_o justice_n he_o may_v according_o to_o right_n rebuke_n and_o afflict_v this_o will_v import_v that_o according_a to_o our_o judgement_n sin_n be_v permit_v or_o decree_v to_o exist_v the_o lord_n permit_v it_o as_o a_o mean_a to_o the_o punishment_n as_o the_o end_n as_o if_o god_n intend_v punishment_n as_o a_o end_n and_o therefore_o suffer_v sin_n as_o a_o meanu_n while_o as_o we_o look_v upon_o both_o the_o permission_n of_o sin_n and_o the_o punishment_n thereof_o as_o one_o mean_n for_o the_o set_n forth_o of_o the_o glory_n of_o divine_a justice_n he_o proceed_v as_o declare_v our_o opinion_n and_o therefore_o that_o god_n not_o only_o suffer_v these_o to_o be_v obnoxious_a to_o this_o misery_n in_o many_o part_n of_o the_o world_n by_o withdraw_v the_o preach_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ._n and_o here_o we_o find_v some_o more_o mistake_n for_o we_o say_v that_o all_o man_n by_o nature_n be_v into_o this_o state_n of_o sin_n and_o misery_n whether_o they_o hear_v the_o gospel_n or_o not_o and_o so_o their_o obnoxiousness_n unto_o that_o misery_n depend_v not_o upon_o their_o want_n of_o preach_v and_o of_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n though_o this_o be_v a_o necessary_a means_n of_o deliver_v they_o out_o of_o it_o again_o his_o therefore_o point_v out_o another_o mistake_n for_o as_o we_o speak_v not_o thus_o so_o far_o less_o do_v we_o infer_v this_o from_o what_o he_o mention_v before_o three_o his_o word_n subtrahendo_fw-la withdraw_v point_v forth_o a_o three_o mistake_n for_o it_o will_v import_v that_o we_o say_v that_o the_o gospel_n be_v once_o preach_v to_o every_o person_n yea_o and_o to_o every_o reprobate_n for_o how_o else_o can_v it_o be_v say_v to_o be_v withdraw_v and_o here_o be_v a_o further_a mistake_n when_o he_o add_v and_o the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n for_o hereby_o the_o reader_n may_v think_v that_o we_o think_v every_o reprobat_fw-la have_v the_o knowledge_n of_o christ_n but_o because_o he_o be_v a_o reprobat_fw-la it_o be_v take_v away_o from_o he_o and_o withdraw_v he_o say_v moreover_o that_o we_o say_v god_n even_o in_o these_o place_n where_o the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v and_o salvation_n be_v offer_v by_o christ_n withdraw_v from_o they_o all_o grace_n whereby_o it_o be_v possible_a for_o they_o to_o apprehend_v the_o gospel_n here_o be_v also_o several_a mistake_n for_o his_o subtraxisse_fw-la import_v that_o god_n have_v give_v to_o every_o one_o who_o hear_v the_o gospel_n grace_n whereby_o they_o may_v embrace_v the_o gospel_n and_o then_o withdraw_v it_o from_o the_o reprobate_n because_o they_o be_v such_o where_o read_v he_o such_o language_n in_o the_o writing_n of_o our_o divine_n next_o we_o say_v not_o as_o he_o here_o insinuate_v that_o we_o do_v that_o the_o grace_n which_o god_n withhold_v from_o the_o reprobat_fw-la be_v that_o by_o which_o faith_n in_o the_o gospel_n be_v mere_o possible_a but_o that_o rather_o without_o which_o they_o can_v believe_v and_o with_o which_o they_o can_v but_o believe_v that_o be_v he_o withhold_v the_o grace_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v his_o own_o free_a gift_n ephes._n 2_o 8._o he_o bestow_v it_o upon_o wâ—om_n he_o will_v for_o he_o bless_v with_o all_o spiritual_a blessing_n such_o as_o he_o have_v choose_v before_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o world_n that_o they_o may_v be_v â—oly_a ephes._n 1_o 3_o 4._o he_o proceed_v in_o relate_v our_o opinion_n thus_o because_o by_o his_o own_o secret_a will_n he_o do_v decree_n that_o they_o shall_v not_o obey_v and_o that_o the_o gospel_n shall_v never_o be_v effectual_a to_o their_o salvation_n and_o that_o without_o all_o respect_n have_v to_o their_o sin_n where_o there_o arâ—_n other_o mistake_n to_o be_v observe_v for_o first_o he_o no_o where_o read_v that_o reprobation_n be_v a_o decree_a that_o man_n shall_v not_o obey_v next_o wheâ—_n our_o divine_n speak_v of_o god_n decree_n about_o sin_n they_o never_o utter_v their_o mind_n so_o blunt_o as_o to_o say_v goâ—_n decree_v that_o they_o shall_v not_o obey_v but_o thâ—y_o use_v to_o speak_v thus_o god_n will_v or_o decree_v that_o sin_n shall_v exist_v he_o himself_o permit_v it_o or_o as_o some_o he_o will_v the_o permission_n of_o sin_n three_o here_o be_v another_o mistake_n for_o as_o to_o some_o who_o hear_v the_o gospel_n and_o harden_v their_o heart_n beyond_o ordinary_a god_n in_o justice_n give_v they_o up_o to_o the_o power_n of_o unbeleef_n as_o a_o spiritual_a judicial_a stroke_n or_o take_v away_o the_o gospel_n from_o they_o aâ—d_v so_o non-churcheth_a they_o and_o this_o as_o a_o punishment_n and_o as_o the_o lord_n do_v so_o in_o time_n so_o he_o decree_v to_o do_v so_o therefore_o there_o be_v some_o consideration_n of_o sin_n here_o though_o sin_n be_v no_o procure_v or_o meritorious_a cause_n of_o the_o decree_n at_o length_n he_o conclude_v and_o say_v further_a as_o if_o it_o be_v our_o opinion_n that_o god_n decree_v to_o send_v the_o gospel_n to_o such_o as_o obey_v it_o not_o only_o to_o accumulate_v their_o damnation_n where_o be_v another_o mistake_n as_o if_o this_o be_v god_n end_n or_o his_o only_a end_n and_o as_o if_o we_o affirm_v it_o be_v so_o while_o as_o both_o be_v most_o false_a and_o contradict_v by_o what_o himself_o say_v a_o little_a before_o 13._o thus_o have_v we_o brief_o consider_v his_o representation_n of_o our_o judgement_n and_o have_v find_v no_o few_o than_o twelve_o abuse_n and_o untruth_n so_o that_o no_o honest_a man_n can_v acknowledge_v
