ver_fw-la 11._o and_o 5._o 17._o 18._o in_o the_o first_o phrase_n imputation_n come_v in_o betwixt_o christ_n obedience_n as_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v impute_v &_o justification_n as_o the_o end_n whereunto_o it_o be_v impute_v and_o it_o have_v reference_n to_o both_o in_o the_o second_o phrase_n imputation_n come_v in_o betwixt_o faith_n as_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v impute_v and_o righteousness_n as_o the_o end_n whereunto_o it_o be_v impute_v in_o the_o last_o phrase_n imputation_n come_v in_o betwixt_o righteousness_n itself_o as_o the_o thing_n impute_v and_o life_n as_o the_o end_n whereunto_o it_o be_v impute_v thus_o we_o see_v that_o imputation_n in_o the_o matter_n of_o justification_n have_v always_o reference_n to_o two_o thing_n and_o thus_o much_o concern_v the_o meaning_n of_o the_o word_n now_o we_o be_v to_o consider_v what_o thing_n they_o be_v which_o be_v say_v to_o be_v impute_v concern_v which_o there_o be_v two_o extremity_n wherein_o man_n do_v common_o fall_v the_o one_o hold_v that_o nothing_o inherent_a in_o we_o can_v possible_o be_v impute_v to_o we_o the_o other_o hold_v the_o contrary_a that_o nothing_o be_v impute_v to_o we_o but_o that_o which_o be_v inherent_a in_o us._n that_o opinion_n which_o be_v betwixt_o both_o seem_v to_o agree_v most_o with_o god_n truth_n that_o be_v that_o not_o only_a thing_n inherent_a in_o we_o but_o thing_n that_o be_v not_o inherent_a in_o we_o be_v impute_v to_o we_o therefore_o imputation_n be_v use_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n when_o he_o speak_v of_o justification_n by_o grace_n and_o of_o justification_n by_o work_n as_o rom._n cha_n 4._o &_o likewise_o when_o he_o speak_v of_o the_o account_v of_o we_o sinner_n because_o of_o our_o work_n and_o corruption_n inherent_a and_o when_o he_o speak_v of_o the_o account_v of_o we_o righteous_a by_o grace_n through_o the_o obedience_n of_o christ_n rom._n chap._n 4._o this_o same_o be_v clear_a by_o other_o example_n of_o say_v to_o be_v impute_v by_o debt_n and_o sometime_o by_o grace_n rom._n cha_n 4._o 4._o for_o understanding_n whereof_o we_o be_v not_o only_o to_o distinguish_v betwixt_o thing_n as_o they_o be_v inherent_a or_o not_o inherent_a in_o we_o but_o also_o as_o they_o be_v our_o own_o or_o not_o our_o own_o for_o something_n inherent_a be_v so_o in_o we_o that_o they_o be_v our_o own_o because_o they_o consist_v in_o these_o thing_n which_o be_v in_o our_o nature_n and_o be_v the_o effect_n and_o fruit_n of_o our_o natural_a power_n something_n again_o be_v so_o in_o we_o as_o they_o be_v no_o way_n our_o own_o be_v no_o part_n nor_o portion_n of_o any_o natural_a power_n or_o quality_n nor_o flow_v from_o any_o power_n or_o faculty_n in_o nature_n but_o beside_o and_o above_o nature_n come_v to_o we_o from_o god_n and_o wrought_v in_o we_o by_o the_o power_n of_o his_o spirit_n and_o therefore_o though_o they_o be_v in_o we_o can_v be_v say_v to_o be_v our_o own_o because_o they_o be_v no_o part_n nor_o property_n of_o our_o nature_n nor_o effect_n produce_v by_o nature_n such_o as_o be_v faith_n for_o although_o we_o be_v say_v to_o believe_v with_o the_o heart_n yet_o neither_o be_v faith_n itself_o any_o natural_a power_n or_o faculty_n in_o the_o heart_n nor_o produce_v by_o any_o natural_a power_n or_o faculty_n of_o the_o heart_n neither_o do_v we_o believe_v with_o the_o heart_n natural_o and_o by_o our_o own_o strength_n as_o though_o we_o may_v make_v our_o heart_n to_o believe_v or_o that_o faith_n or_o beleevinge_v be_v our_o own_o work_n but_o faith_n as_o we_o have_v show_v before_o be_v a_o instrument_n supernatural_a and_o wrought_v not_o by_o our_o heart_n but_o in_o our_o heart_n by_o the_o supernaturail_a power_n of_o god_n by_o the_o which_o as_o by_o a_o supernatural_a mean_v give_v we_o of_o god_n we_o believe_v with_o our_o heart_n and_o so_o lie_v hold_v upon_o supernatural_a thing_n and_o perform_v supernatural_a work_n according_a to_o this_o diverse_a consideration_n of_o thing_n in_o we_o or_o proceed_v from_o any_o power_n that_o be_v in_o we_o so_o be_v there_o a_o distinction_n of_o imputation_n in_o the_o scripture_n one_o be_v say_v to_o be_v by_o debt_n another_o be_v say_v to_o be_v by_o
