as_o they_o be_v indeed_o it_o be_v good_a for_o they_o who_o be_v in_o place_n of_o dignity_n not_o to_o glory_n or_o be_v puff_v up_o but_o to_o fear_v a_o fall_n for_o that_o it_o be_v not_o so_o great_a a_o pleasure_n to_o climb_v high_a as_o it_o be_v doleful_a and_o hurtful_a to_o fall_v down_o again_o 15._o son_n have_v thou_o a_o desire_n to_o make_v a_o experiment_n of_o thy_o own_o a_o fruitbearing_a plant_n which_o the_o deep_a root_n it_o take_v in_o the_o religious_a man_n hart_n the_o sweet_a fruit_n it_o bring_v forth_o two_o branch_n do_v spring_v therout_a the_o one_o that_o not_o without_o cause_n because_o among_o the_o theological_a virtue_n that_o only_o mount_v up_o to_o heaven_n whereas_o other_o virtue_n only_o enjoy_v the_o fruit_n but_o charity_n enjoy_v both_o the_o fruit_n and_o tree_n together_o charity_n have_v a_o different_a effect_n from_o humi●_n for_o this_o be_v found_v in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o man_n baseness_n &_o misery_n so_o far_o depress_v and_o humble_v a_o man_n as_o it_o cause_v he_o to_o esteem_v himself_o for_o nothing_o at_o all_o but_o charity_n rely_v upon_o the_o majesty_n of_o the_o increated_a goodness_n raise_v a_o man_n up_o to_o heaven_n and_o make_v he_o to_o enter_v into_o the_o very_a bosom_n of_o his_o creator_n the_o ocean_n of_o infinite_a goodness_n 2._o my_o scripture_n mention_v many_o praise_n of_o charity_n thereby_o to_o induce_v all_o to_o love_v it_o one_o while_o it_o be_v call_v the_o band_n of_o perfection_n because_o it_o so_o strong_o bind_v man_n will_n with_o i_o as_o we_o become_v be_v compare_v with_o god_n what_o more_o security_n be_v there_o then_o to_o be_v in_o god_n and_o what_o great_a pleasure_n can_v a_o man_n have_v then_o to_o have_v god_n with_o he_o charity_n work_v great_a matter_n in_o a_o man_n that_o be_v possess_v of_o it_o as_o contrariwise_o when_o a_o man_n be_v without_o it_o he_o sustain_v great_a detriment_n and_o hurt_n and_o occasion_n be_v give_v he_o of_o many_o and_o sore_a fall_n when_o the_o soul_n be_v by_o death_n separate_v from_o the_o body_n life_n instant_o leave_v a_o man_n and_o all_o the_o beauty_n of_o the_o body_n ●s_v can_v proceed_v of_o any_o thing_n but_o pride_n and_o to_o say_v true_o he_o be_v such_o a_o one_o and_o of_o the_o number_n of_o those_o religious_a man_n who_o have_v no_o will_n to_o practice_v either_o humility_n or_o mortification_n the_o poor_a man_n who_o know_v his_o own_o need_n and_o necessity_n take_v willing_o the_o alm_n of_o any_o one_o whosoever_o it_o be_v that_o give_v it_o be_v he_o master_n or_o servant_n and_o humble_o thank_v he_o for_o it_o the_o very_a same_o do_v every_o religious_a man_n who_o hearty_o desire_v perfection_n and_o love_v every_o one_o who_o help_v whereof_o the_o prophet_n speak_v and_o unhappy_a be_v that_o religious_a man_n who_o have_v his_o head_n anoint_v therewith_o i_o do_v myself_o the_o correction_n otherwhiles_o and_o send_v inspiration_n to_o the_o end_n my_o servant_n may_v by_o that_o occasion_n find_v out_o and_o discover_v their_o own_o imperfection_n and_o amend_v they_o sometime_o again_o i_o admonish_v they_o by_o some_o affliction_n or_o other_o that_o they_o may_v enter_v into_o themselves_o and_o correct_v what_o be_v amiss_o sometime_o i_o permit_v one_o whole_a order_n of_o religion_n to_o be_v afflict_v they_o have_v a_o desire_n to_o be_v holpen_v they_o want_v not_o the_o help_n and_o mean_n of_o do_v well_o so_o much_o as_o a_o firm_a resolution_n to_o put_v themselves_o into_o a_o course_n of_o do_v well_o and_o to_o hold_v on_o the_o same_o as_o they_o ought_v my_o son_n to_o differ_v and_o put_v that_o off_o till_o the_o morrow_n that_o may_v profit_v thou_o to_o day_n be_v not_o a_o argument_n or_o sign_n of_o a_o man_n well_o advise_v and_o the_o more_o thou_o shall_v neglect_v to_o amend_v thyself_o and_o to_o differ_v this_o happy_a resolution_n the_o more_o and_o the_o afraid_a whe●_n no_o cause_n be_v of_o fear_n at_o all_o and_o these_o scruple_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o vain_a apprehension_n proceed_v from_o mere_a fancy_n 4._o o_o how_o much_o damage_n do_v scruple_n cause_n and_o how_o much_o good_a do_v they_o hinde●_n for_o first_o they_o deprive_v the_o person_n who_o molest_v with_o they_o of_o that_o inward_a peac●_n which_o every_o one_o again_o he_o repeat_v what_o he_o have_v former_o say_v and_o never_o make_v a_o end_n and_o which_o be_v worse_o when_o he_o have_v all_o do_v he_o remain_v less_o satisfy_v than_o he_o be_v at_o the_o very_a first_o and_o if_o it_o happen_v that_o notwithstanding_o all_o this_o he_o make_v no_o more_o repetition_n it_o be_v rather_o in_o regard_n of_o a_o certain_a yrksomenes_n and_o loathe_v
