of_o heathen_n place_v the_o great_a happiness_n acquirable_a in_o this_o life_n 2._o after_o this_o life_n a_o immutable_a state_n of_o everlasting_a rest_n and_o happiness_n in_o the_o beatifical_a vision_n of_o god_n and_o fruition_n of_o so_o much_o of_o his_o goodness_n and_o beneficence_n as_o a_o glorify_a soul_n be_v capable_a of_o for_o it_o be_v reasonable_a that_o the_o end_n of_o fruition_n of_o a_o immortal_a nature_n shall_v be_v a_o everlasting_a good_a commensurate_a in_o its_o intention_n and_o duration_n to_o such_o a_o immortal_a nature_n and_o now_o if_o any_o man_n shall_v inquire_v if_o this_o be_v the_o end_n of_o almighty_n god_n in_o the_o creation_n of_o man_n how_o come_v it_o to_o pass_v that_o all_o man_n attain_v not_o this_o end_n or_o how_o come_v deprive_v himself_o of_o his_o own_o felicity_n when_o we_o speak_v therefore_o of_o the_o end_n of_o man_n we_o speak_v of_o it_o as_o god_n make_v he_o not_o as_o man_n make_v or_o rather_o unmake_v himself_o but_o of_o this_o end_n of_o the_o mean_n of_o his_o restitution_n by_o christ_n and_o the_o admirable_a system_n and_o connexion_n of_o the_o divine_a providence_n in_o relation_n to_o man_n in_o his_o redemption_n belong_v to_o another_o discourse_n we_o be_v in_o this_o precede_a discourse_n but_o in_o the_o outward_a court_n of_o the_o temple_n where_o the_o gentile_n come_v or_o station_n in_o this_o low_a world_n be_v during_o the_o time_n of_o his_o mortal_a life_n here_o below_o and_o in_o this_o station_n the_o glorious_a god_n have_v furnish_v mankind_n with_o all_o conveniencic_n and_o accommodation_n suitable_a to_o it_o as_o the_o comfortable_a accommodation_n of_o his_o sensible_a life_n the_o comfort_n of_o humane_a society_n the_o use_n and_o dominion_n of_o his_o creature_n the_o admirable_a faculty_n of_o his_o mind_n the_o book_n and_o instruction_n of_o his_o word_n and_o will_n the_o goodly_a work_n of_o creation_n and_o providence_n the_o tender_v and_o aider_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o guidance_n the_o efflux_n and_o manifestation_n of_o his_o favour_n and_o love_n the_o anticipation_n and_o hope_n of_o eternal_a happiness_n these_o and_o many_o more_o such_o as_o these_o the_o bountiful_a god_n afford_v to_o mankind_n even_o in_o this_o state_n of_o mortality_n which_o may_v and_o do_v render_v it_o in_o a_o great_a measure_n very_o comfortable_a but_o withal_o he_o let_v we_o know_v and_o we_o must_v know_v that_o these_o be_v but_o as_o so_o many_o bounty_n to_o render_v our_o passage_n through_o this_o life_n the_o more_o easy_a and_o convenient_a to_o ourselves_o and_o the_o more_o serviceable_a to_o our_o great_a lord_n and_o master_n this_o be_v not_o to_o be_v the_o place_n of_o our_o rest_n or_o final_a happiness_n but_o a_o place_n of_o exercise_n and_o probation_n a_o place_n of_o preparation_n for_o our_o future_a and_o more_o durable_a state_n we_o be_v here_o as_o it_o be_v but_o put_v to_o school_n to_o learn_v our_o duty_n and_o our_o lesson_n we_o be_v but_o as_o young_a plant_n plant_v in_o a_o nursery_n till_o we_o come_v to_o a_o convenient_a size_n and_o fitness_n to_o be_v remove_v and_o then_o we_o be_v to_o be_v transplant_v into_o another_o and_o a_o rich_a soil_n in_o this_o world_n we_o be_v as_o it_o be_v seed_n ripen_v upon_o the_o tree_n or_o stalk_n till_o they_o be_v full_o digest_v and_o ripe_a and_o then_o as_o the_o seed_n drop_v into_o the_o ground_n and_o become_v the_o seminary_n of_o a_o new_a plantation_n so_o by_o death_n we_o drop_v into_o eternity_n and_o become_v the_o child_n the_o embryones_n of_o the_o resurrection_n and_o then_o we_o come_v into_o that_o second_o and_o bless_a station_n the_o country_n of_o our_o rest_n and_o happiness_n our_o home_n and_o the_o end_n of_o our_o be_v where_o we_o shall_v ever_o behold_v the_o glory_n of_o the_o glorious_a god_n and_o glorify_v he_o for_o ever_o where_o we_o shall_v have_v the_o perpetual_a sensible_a vigorous_a satisfactory_a manifestation_n and_o influence_n of_o his_o love_n to_o all_o eternity_n and_o enjoy_v that_o blessedness_n which_o eye_n have_v not_o see_v
