be_v empty_a for_o you_o do_v not_o expret_v it_o there_o so_o we_o may_v say_v of_o the_o creature_n if_o we_o think_v and_o do_v believe_v that_o there_o be_v a_o emptiness_n in_o it_o we_o will_v never_o expect_v so_o much_o from_o it_o as_o we_o do_v but_o when_o we_o complain_v and_o say_v i_o think_v to_o have_v find_v such_o and_o such_o thing_n and_o i_o find_v they_o not_o it_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o we_o look_v for_o a_o fullness_n there_o and_o therefore_o let_v we_o labour_n to_o correct_v that_o conceit_n it_o will_v help_v we_o against_o those_o grief_n &_o complaint_n to_o which_o we_o be_v so_o much_o subject_n let_v we_o look_v for_o no_o more_o in_o the_o creature_n than_o be_v in_o it_o all_o grief_n and_o stir_v of_o affection_n arise_v from_o this_o expectation_n this_o overween_n this_o high_a prize_v of_o the_o creature_n if_o you_o find_v inconstancy_n in_o man_n why_o do_v you_o look_v for_o constancy_n in_o they_o they_o be_v creature_n if_o you_o look_v for_o stability_n in_o your_o estate_n and_o wonder_v why_o a_o change_n shall_v come_v i_o be_v heretofore_o rich_a and_o now_o i_o be_o poor_a i_o be_v honourable_a and_o now_o i_o be_o in_o to_o the_o other_o whether_o a_o man_n be_v come_v in_o or_o not_o there_o will_v not_o be_v much_o difference_n in_o the_o application_n of_o this_o that_o we_o be_v now_o to_o deliver_v to_o be_v content_a to_o have_v god_n alone_o to_o be_v our_o portion_n for_o that_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o all_o our_o unevennesse_n and_o of_o our_o imperfect_a walk_n with_o god_n we_o will_v have_v somewhat_o beside_o and_o therefore_o the_o lord_n take_v this_o course_n with_o his_o disciple_n he_o tell_v they_o the_o worst_a first_o he_o tell_v they_o they_o must_v part_v with_o all_o that_o be_v but_o night_n notwithstanding_o you_o be_v but_o in_o a_o state_n of_o misery_n and_o therefore_o beloved_n why_o shall_v you_o not_o be_v content_a to_o have_v the_o lord_n alone_o for_o your_o portion_n take_v all_o the_o creature_n and_o you_o find_v by_o experience_n that_o when_o they_o be_v enjoy_v you_o see_v a_o end_n of_o their_o perfection_n you_o quick_o find_v a_o bottom_n in_o that_o he_o may_v be_v a_o perpetual_a example_n as_o thing_n be_v write_v for_o our_o learning_n so_o all_o these_o thing_n that_o be_v do_v in_o those_o former_a time_n which_o be_v the_o rule_n when_o you_o have_v enjoy_v they_o and_o try_v they_o you_o quick_o find_v a_o bottom_n in_o they_o for_o there_o be_v but_o a_o false_a lustre_n that_o satan_n and_o your_o own_o lust_n put_v upon_o they_o they_o have_v gild_v outside_n but_o when_o they_o come_v to_o wear_v the_o guilt_n wear_v off_o and_o you_o find_v after_o a_o while_n what_o they_o be_v but_o come_v to_o spiritual_a thing_n the_o more_o you_o wear_v they_o the_o more_o you_o find_v the_o beauty_n and_o excellency_n that_o be_v in_o they_o for_o there_o be_v a_o dust_n and_o a_o rust_n that_o be_v cast_v upon_o they_o which_o likewise_o the_o wearing_z takes_z off_z and_o therefore_o why_o shall_v you_o not_o be_v content_a to_o take_v god_n alone_a what_o be_v it_o that_o man_n so_o seek_v after_o be_v it_o not_o land_n be_v not_o the_o lord_n all-sufficient_a to_o he_o do_v he_o not_o provide_v for_o he_o abundant_o when_o eliah_n flee_v and_o have_v no_o meat_n he_o have_v neither_o money_n nor_o any_o this_o you_o must_v know_v that_o all_o that_o god_n have_v wrought_v in_o the_o creature_n all_o the_o excellency_n all_o the_o beauty_n and_o delight_n and_o comfort_n he_o have_v put_v into_o the_o
