Respect not thou their offering I have not taken one ass from them neither have I hurt one of them 16 And Moses said unto Korah Be thou and all thy company before the LORD thou and they and Aaron to morrow 17 And take every man his censer and put incense in them and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer two hundred and fifty censers thou also and Aaron each of you his censer 18 And they took every man his censer and put fire in them and said incense thereon and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron 19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation 20 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron saying 21 Separate your selves from among this congregation that I may consume them in a moment 22 And they fell upon their faces and said O God the God of the spirits of all flesh shall one man sin and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation 23 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses saying 24 Speak unto the congregation saying Get you up from about the taberlacle of Korah Dathan and Abiram 25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram and the elders of Israel followed him 26 And he spake unto the congregation saying Depart I pray you from the tents of these wicked men and touch nothing of theirs lest ye be consumed in all their sins 27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah Dathan and Abiram on every side and Dathan and Abiram came out and stood in the door of their tents and their wives and their sons and their little children 28 And Moses said Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works for I have not done them of mine own minde 29 If these men die †Heb. as every man dieth the common death of all men or if they be visited after the visitation of all men then

VIII 1 Frogs are sent 8 Pharaoh sueth to Moses 12 and Moses by prayer removeth them away 16 The dust is turned into lice which the magicians could not do 20 The swarms of flies 25 Pharaoh inclineth to let the people go 32 but yet is hardened ANd the LORD spake unto Moses Go unto Pharaoh and say unto him Thus saith the LORD Let my people go that they may serve me 2 And if thou refuse to let them go behold I will smite all thy borders with frogs 3 And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly which shall go up and come into thine house and into thy bed-chamber and upon thy bed and into the house of thy servants and upon thy people and into thine ovens and into thy ‖ Or dough kneading-troughâ— 4 And the frogs shall come up both on thee and upon thy people and upon all thy servants 5 ¶ And the LORD spake unto Moses Say unto Aaron Stretch forth thine haâ—d with thy rod over the streams over the rivers and over the ponds and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt 6 And Aaâ—on stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt 7 * Wiâ—â— 17.7 And the Magicians did so with their inchantments and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt 8 ¶ Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said Intreat the LORD that he may take away the frogs from me and from my people and I will let the people go that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD 9 And Moses said unto Pharaoh ‖ Or have this bonour over me c. Glory over me ‖ Or arainst when when shall I intreat for thee and for thy servants and for thy people †Heb. to cut off to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses that they may remain in the river onely 10 And he said ‖ Or against to morrow To morrow And he said Be it according to thy word that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God 11 And the frogs shall depart from thee and from thy houses and from thy servants and from thy people they shall remain in the river onely 12 And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh 13 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses and the frogs died out of the houses out of the villages and out of the fields 14 And they gathered them together upon heaps and the land stank 15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite he hardned his heart and hearkned not unto them as the LORD had said 16 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses Say unto Aaron Stretch out thy rod and smite the dust of the land that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt 17 And they did so for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and smote the dust of the earth and it became lice in man and in beaâ—t all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt 18 And the magicians did so with their inchantmentâ— to bring forth lice but they could not so there were lice upon man and upon beast 19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh This is the finger of God and Pharaohâ— heart was hardned and he hearkned not unto them as the LORD had said 20 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses Rise up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh â—o he cometh forth to the water and say unto him Thus saith the LORD Let my people go that they may serve me 21 Else if thou wilt not let my people go behold I will send ‖ Or a mixture of noysome câ—asts c. swarms of flies upon thee and upon thy servants and upon thy people and into thy houses and the houses of the Egyptians shall be â—ull of swarms of flies and also the ground whereon they are 22 And I will sever in that day the laâ—d of Goshen in which my people dwell that no swarms of flies shall be there to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midâ—t of the earth 23 And I will put †Heb. a redemption a division between my people and thy people ‖ Or by to morrow to morrow shall this signe be 24 And the LORD did soâ—and * Wisd 16. â— there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh and into his servants houses and into all the land of Egypt the land was ‖ Or destroyed corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies 25 ¶ And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron and said Go ye sacriâ—ice to your God in the land 26 And Moses said It is not meet so to do for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God Lo shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes and will they not stone us 27 We will go three dayes journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to the LORD our God as * Ch. 3. â—8 he shall command us 28 And Pharaoh said I will let you go that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness onely you shall not go very far away intreat for me 29 And Moses said Behold I go out from thee and I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh from hiâ— servants and from his people to morrow but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD 30 And Moses went out from Pharaoh and intreated the LORD 31 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh from his servants and from his people there remained not one 32 And Pharaoh hardned his heart at this time also neither would he let the people go CHAP. IX 1 The murrain of beasts 8 The plague of boyls and blains 12 The message about the hail 22 The plague of hail 27 Pharaoh sueth to Moses 35 but yet is hardned THen the LORD said unto Moses Go in unto Pharaoh and tell him Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews Let my people go that they may serve me 2 For if thou refuse to let them go and wilt hold them still 3 Behold the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattel which is in the field upon the horses upon the asses upon the camels upon the oxen and upon the sheep there shall be
loved her 4 For she is ‖ Or â—uther privy to the mysteries of the knowledge of God and a ‖ Or choosâ—â— lover of his works 5 If riches be a possession to be desired in this life what is richer then wisdom that worketh all things 6 And if * Exod. 31.3 6. prudence work who of all that are is a more cunning workman then she 7 And if a man love righteousness her labours are vertues for she teacheth temperance and prudence justice and fortitude which are such things as men can have nothing more profitable in their life 8 If a man desire much experience she knoweth things of old and conjectureth aright what is to come she knoweth the subtilties of speeches and can expound dark sentences she foreseeth signs and wonders and the events of seasons and times 9 Therefore I purposed to take her to me to live with me knowing that she †Gr. will would be a counsellour of good things and a comfort in cares and grief 10 For her sake I shall have estimation among the multitude and honour with the elders though I be young 11 I shall be found of a quick conceit in judgement and shall be admired in the sight of great men 12 * Job 29.8 9 10. old serpent called the devil and Satan which deceiveth the whole world he was cast out into the earth and his angels were cast out with him 10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven Now is come salvation and strength and the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ for the accuser of our brethren is cast down which accused them before our God day and night 11 And they overcame him by the bloud of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they loved not their lives unto the death 12 Therefore rejoyce ye heavens and ye that dwell in them Wo to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea for the devil is come down unto you having great wrath because he knoweth that he hath but a short time 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man childe 14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle that she might flie into the wilderness into her place where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time from the face of the serpent 15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood 16 And the earth helped the woman and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ CHAP. XIII 1 A beast riseth out of the sea with seven heads and ten borns to whom the dragon giveth his power 11 Another beast cometh up out of the earth 14 causeth an image to be made of the former beast 15 and that men should worship it 16 and receive his mark ANd I stood upon the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise up out of the sea having seven heads and ten horns and upon his horns ten crowns and upon his heads the ‖ Or names name of blasphemy 2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard and his feet were as the feet of a bear and his mouth as the mouth of a lion and the dragon gave him his power and his seat and great authority 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were †Gr slain wounded to death and his deadly wound was healed and all the world wondred after the beast 4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast and they worshipped the beast saying Who is like unto the beast who is able to make war with him 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies and power was given unto him ‖ Or to make war to continue fourty and two moneths 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God to blaspheme his name and his tabernacle and them that dwell in heaven 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints and to overcome them and power was given him over all kindreds and tongues and nations 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world 9 If any man have an ear let him hear 10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity * Matth. 16.52 He that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword Here is the patience and the faith of the saints 11 And I behold another beast coming up out of the earth and he had two horns like a lamb and he spake as a dragon 12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast whose deadly wound was healed 13 And he doeth great wonders so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men 14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast saying to them that dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the beast which had the wound by a sword and did live 15 And he had power to give †Gr. treath life unto the image of the beast that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed 16 And he causeth all both small and great rich and poor free and bond †Gr. to give to receive a mark in their right hand or in their foreheads 17 And that no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark or the name of the beast or the number of his name 18 Here is wisdom Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast for it is the number of a man and his number is six hundred threescore and six CHAP. XIV 1 The Lamb standing on mount Sion with his company 6 an angel preacheth the gospel 8 The fall of Babylon 15 The harvest of the world and putting in of the sickle 20 The vintage and winepress of the wrath of God ANd I looked and lo a Lamb stood on the mount Sion and with him an hundred fourty and four thousand having his Fathers name written in their foreheads 2 And I heard a voice from heaven as the voice of many waters and as the voice of a great thunder and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps 3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne and before the four beasts and the elders and no man could learn that song but the hundred and fourty and four thousand which were redeemed from the earth 4 These are they which were not defiled with women for they are virgins these are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth these †Gr. were bought were redeemed from among men being the first-fruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile for they are without fault before the throne of God 6 And I saw another angel flie in the midst of heaven having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth and to every nation and kindred and tongue and people 7 Saying with a loud voice Fear God and give glory to him for the hour of his judgement is come * Psal 146.5.6 Act. 14.15 and worship him that made heaven and earth and the sea and the fountains of waters 8 And there followed another angel saying * Isa 21.9 Jer. 51.8 Chap. 18.2 Babylon is faln is faln that great city because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication 9 And the third angel followed them saying with a loud voice
