and_o they_o will_v look_v to_o make_v the_o knowledge_n profitable_a which_o they_o have_v receive_v yea_o and_o with_o all_o humbleness_n receive_v the_o thing_n that_o be_v teach_v they_o by_o man_n so_o they_o be_v sure_a that_o they_o come_v from_o god_n thus_o you_o see_v what_o we_o have_v to_o remember_v upon_o this_o sentence_n now_o afterward_o he_o command_v they_o to_o keep_v judge_v but_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o there_o be_v very_o few_o that_o seek_v right_o to_o have_v a_o true_a judgement_n insomuch_o that_o all_o do_v rather_o turn_v away_o and_o wander_v after_o their_o own_o fancy_n and_o become_v brutish_a in_o themselves_o yet_o nevertheless_o as_o i_o say_v afore_o we_o make_v great_a account_n of_o the_o have_v of_o discretion_n and_o wisdom_n to_o judge_v between_o good_a and_o evil_a but_o here_o moses_n show_v that_o man_n be_v unable_a to_o rule_v themselves_o in_o deed_n we_o ween_v yes_o but_o it_o be_v but_o a_o ween_a yea_o and_o a_o overween_a for_o our_o life_n be_v utter_o out_o of_o order_n and_o there_o be_v nothing_o well_o rule_v in_o it_o until_o god_n have_v show_v we_o the_o way_n and_o that_o we_o have_v profit_v in_o his_o school_n that_o be_v the_o thing_n where_o unto_o moses_n lead_v the_o people_n as_o now_o all_o man_n say_v he_o be_v desirous_a of_o knowledge_n and_o loath_a to_o be_v as_o brute_n beast_n because_o they_o be_v shape_v after_o the_o image_n of_o god_n they_o will_v fain_o have_v discretion_n that_o they_o may_v know_v how_o to_o live_v now_o it_o be_v so_o that_o god_n give_v you_o moses_n now_o have_v we_o to_o gather_v upon_o this_o text_n what_o the_o weakness_n of_o man_n mind_n be_v true_a it_o be_v that_o our_o father_n adam_n receive_v understand_v and_o power_n to_o discern_v between_o good_a and_o evil_n in_o his_o creation_n but_o after_o he_o have_v sin_v he_o be_v after_o a_o sort_n blind_v and_o we_o likewise_o be_v corrupt_v so_o as_o we_o discern_v in_o a_o manner_n nothing_o at_o all_o we_o take_v white_a for_o black_a as_o it_o appear_v by_o our_o corrupt_v of_o the_o whole_a service_n of_o god_n by_o our_o superstition_n 2.14.15_o â—â—o_o 2.14.15_o true_a it_o be_v that_o god_n have_v leave_v we_o some_o discretion_n so_o as_o we_o know_v it_o be_v evil_a to_o commit_v theft_n whoredom_n murder_n etc._n etc._n but_o yet_o notwithstanding_o we_o be_v dazzle_a in_o such_o wise_a that_o our_o insight_n be_v not_o so_o clear_a and_o sure_a as_o to_o make_v we_o walk_v aright_o you_o see_v then_o after_o what_o sort_n man_n be_v mar_v and_o it_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o the_o scripture_n show_v we_o â—_o ep._n 4.17_o â—_o insomuch_o that_o the_o wretched_a paynim_n and_o such_o as_o know_v not_o god_n can_v not_o but_o in_o that_o case_n to_o be_v short_a we_o go_v always_o forewarde_v to_o evil_n yea_o even_o under_o colour_n of_o good_a insomuch_o that_o in_o stead_n of_o serve_v god_n there_o be_v nothing_o in_o we_o but_o corruption_n and_o idolatry_n therefore_o the_o heathen_a have_v their_o diversity_n of_o superstition_n for_o every_o man_n may_v forge_v what_o he_o will_v of_o his_o own_o brain_n and_o in_o the_o mean_a while_o the_o live_a god_n be_v let_v alone_o of_o all_o man_n and_o why_o for_o he_o be_v not_o so_o gracious_a to_o the_o whole_a world_n as_o to_o show_v himselve_v to_o all_o man_n and_o so_o man_n become_v brutish_a but_o that_o be_v for_o want_v of_o teach_v nevertheless_o that_o excuse_v they_o not_o for_o they_o be_v still_o guilty_a before_o god._n moreover_o the_o fountain_n from_o whence_o idolatry_n spring_v be_v the_o unthankfulness_n and_o lewdness_n of_o man_n in_o that_o they_o forsake_v the_o live_a god_n of_o their_o own_o accord_n and_o when_o the_o world_n be_v once_o grow_v out_o of_o kind_n as_o i_o have_v say_v afore_o the_o wretched_a paynim_n run_v astray_o like_o blind_a folk_n for_o they_o have_v no_o light_n to_o show_v they_o the_o way_n of_o salvation_n now_o here_o god_n charge_v the_o people_n of_o israel_n with_o rebellion_n if_o they_o hold_v not_o themselves_o to_o the_o law_n that_o he_o give_v they_o and_o why_o for_o i_o be_o the_o everlasting_a thy_o god_n when_o as_o he_o say_v i_o be_o the_o everlasting_a it_o be_v a_o exclude_v of_o all_o the_o god_n that_o have_v be_v invent_v by_o man_n as_o if_o he_o
