will_v do_v so_o in_o these_o great_a point_n of_o divinity_n they_o may_v prove_v themselves_o fool_n but_o no_o spiritual_a physician_n mr._n saltmarsh_n in_o a_o book_n of_o he_o which_o i_o read_v many_o year_n since_o but_o have_v it_o not_o now_o by_o i_o give_v these_o legal_a preacher_n a_o notable_a jeer_n he_o tell_v his_o reader_n that_o these_o preacher_n will_v preach_v christ_n of_o sin_n by_o the_o gospel_n first_o this_o i_o look_v upon_o as_o very_o irrational_a and_o immethodical_a take_v my_o mind_n under_o these_o head_n first_o it_o be_v not_o the_o proper_a work_n else_o what_o need_v of_o christ_n and_o these_o promise_n of_o pardon_n and_o justification_n through_o his_o righteousness_n yea_o i_o grant_v also_o by_o the_o gospel_n we_o may_v argue_v how_o great_a a_o evil_a sin_n be_v that_o must_v have_v such_o a_o medicine_n as_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n to_o heal_v it_o but_o still_o this_o be_v by_o consequence_n the_o law_n tell_v you_o direct_o what_o that_o sin_n be_v and_o that_o condemnation_n for_o sin_n three_o man_n may_v be_v convince_v of_o sin_n without_o the_o gospel_n but_o not_o without_o the_o law_n god_n have_v convince_v many_o of_o sin_n where_o the_o gospel_n be_v not_o know_v or_o not_o understand_v the_o heathen_a have_v conviction_n rom._n 2.16_o by_o a_o law_n not_o write_v but_o to_o have_v man_n convince_v of_o sin_n direct_o and_o in_o particular_a when_o the_o gospel_n be_v first_o preach_v what_o particular_a sin_n do_v it_o convince_v a_o man_n of_o how_o do_v that_o make_v he_o appear_v to_o be_v guilty_a but_o the_o law_n will_v tell_v he_o his_o particular_a sin_n and_o this_o must_v be_v do_v else_o man_n will_v hardly_o come_v to_o a_o thorough_a and_o save_a conviction_n that_o
