make_v chief_o for_o these_o two_o end_n first_o to_o be_v a_o stand_a testimony_n of_o his_o existence_n and_o his_o nature_n and_o second_o to_o contribute_v to_o the_o happiness_n of_o his_o creature_n and_o to_o the_o mutual_a subsistence_n of_o each_o other_o but_o now_o the_o epicurean_o they_o tell_v we_o that_o all_o thing_n come_v by_o chance_n that_o the_o ear_n be_v not_o make_v for_o hear_v nor_o the_o eye_n for_o see_v nor_o the_o nostril_n for_o smell_v but_o that_o all_o this_o seem_a contrivance_n and_o appear_a wisdom_n be_v owe_v to_o nothing_o else_o but_o to_o the_o lucky_a concourse_n of_o atom_n happy_o dispose_v after_o such_o a_o manner_n as_o be_v requisite_a for_o that_o purpose_n and_o therefore_o by_o consequence_n that_o it_o be_v but_o a_o idle_a taunt_n which_o the_o psalmist_n bestow_v upon_o the_o idol_n of_o the_o heathen_a psal_n 115._o their_o idol_n be_v silver_n and_o gold_n the_o work_n of_o man_n hand_n they_o have_v mouth_n but_o
