and_o passive_a the_o some_o of_o the_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n as_o precedent_o be_v prove_v chapt._n the_o 2._o so_o likewise_o the_o son_n of_o god_n the_o second_o adam_n his_o man_n which_o by_o apostasy_n bring_v himself_o under_o the_o curse_n for_o although_o the_o life_n of_o all_o believer_n beside_o christ_n be_v in_o this_o world_n a_o estate_n of_o faith_n and_o obedience_n and_o although_o god_n word_n of_o truth_n be_v his_o instrument_n to_o give_v to_o man_n christ_n righteousness_n and_o man_n faith_n his_o instrument_n to_o receive_v in_o that_o righteousness_n his_o blessedness_n yet_o between_o god_n and_o mankind_n neither_o of_o these_o be_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n for_o as_o god_n on_o his_o part_n have_v not_o bind_v himself_o to_o either_o of_o these_o as_o a_o condition_n so_o neither_o have_v he_o bind_v all_o mankind_n absolute_o to_o believe_v or_o not_o to_o be_v save_v for_o if_o faith_n be_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n god_n in_o justice_n can_v not_o save_v one_o of_o mankind_n which_o do_v not_o believe_v but_o it_o be_v already_o prove_v chap._n 4._o that_o a_o innumerable_a number_n of_o mankind_n depart_v this_o world_n in_o infancy_n childhood_n or_o the_o like_a by_o the_o universal_a grace_n of_o the_o covenant_n in_o christ_n jesus_n our_o saviour_n be_v save_v likewise_o so_o be_v all_o mankind_n without_o faith_n save_v from_o the_o damnation_n of_o adam_n sin_n to_o the_o praise_n of_o god_n grace_n to_o all_o eternity_n therefore_o although_o to_o man_n capable_a of_o the_o use_n of_o reason_n faith_n covenant_n faith_n it_o be_v one_o thing_n that_o god_n require_v its_o exercise_n as_o a_o necessary_a instrumental_a qualification_n and_o than_o man_n mouth_n whereby_o he_o receive_v his_o meat_n second_o be_v it_o so_o that_o as_o first_o upon_o adam_n fall_n so_o the_o second_o time_n in_o the_o promise_a seed_n with_o abraham_n by_o covenant_n that_o god_n elect_v predestinate_v and_o fore-appointed_n all_o mankind_n alike_o from_o perish_v in_o misery_n to_o grace_n and_o glory_n in_o christ_n jesus_n as_o here_o we_o see_v hence_o observe_v what_o be_v god_n most_o proper_a book_n of_o life_n namely_o the_o promise_a seed_n for_o in_o he_o all_o mankind_n be_v both_o time_n only_o write_v for_o grace_n and_o glory_n as_o in_o a_o book_n of_o life_n not_o only_a when_o adam_n fall_v but_o the_o second_o time_n as_o be_v register_v by_o covenant_n with_o abraham_n to_o life_n and_o glory_n therefore_o christ_n
