common-prayer_n refer_v party_n doubt_v of_o any_o thing_n that_o be_v contain_v in_o that_o book_n to_o the_o bishop_n and_o the_o bishop_n doubt_v to_o the_o archbishop_n of_o religion_n where_o by_o the_o church_n whoever_o master_n b._n understand_v be_v mean_v the_o head_n and_o governor_n in_o the_o church_n to_o who_o the_o right_a of_o direction_n and_o government_n do_v peculiar_o belong_v and_o therefore_o they_o be_v call_v bishop_n or_o overseer_n and_o ruler_n or_o guide_n and_o leader_n as_o be_v by_o their_o office_n to_o judge_v of_o thing_n needful_a and_o to_o direct_v those_o that_o be_v under_o their_o charge_n now_o this_o power_n of_o they_o have_v these_o property_n 1._o it_o be_v not_o supreme_a but_o ministerial_a not_o rule_v but_o rule_v by_o the_o scripture_n by_o which_o rule_n they_o be_v to_o square_v their_o determination_n in_o all_o matter_n of_o religion_n be_v altogether_o unlawful_a for_o they_o to_o define_v any_o thing_n contrary_a service_n of_o god_n 3._o in_o these_o thing_n which_o they_o thus_o order_n and_o ordain_v they_o must_v keep_v they_o to_o those_o general_a rule_n 1._o that_o thing_n be_v dâ—â—e_o decent_o and_o in_o order_n 2._o that_o nothing_o be_v ordain_v contrary_a to_o the_o scripture_n 3._o that_o thing_n beside_o the_o scripture_n ordain_v be_v not_o enforce_v to_o be_v believe_v of_o necessity_n to_o salvation_n as_o our_o article_n speak_v 4._o their_o decision_n in_o matter_n of_o religion_n be_v not_o infallible_a neither_o do_v they_o ever_o challenge_v nor_o any_o that_o ever_o i_o hear_v of_o among_o we_o ascribe_v unto_o they_o no_o not_o to_o the_o arch-prelate_n any_o papal_a insallibilitie_n of_o spirit_n neither_o do_v they_o arrogate_v any_o other_o ability_n of_o right_n and_o true_a judgement_n in_o thing_n than_o be_v attain_v by_o ordinary_a mean_n nor_o any_o immediate_o divine_a inspiration_n or_o assistance_n annex_v to_o their_o chair_n all_o which_o the_o pope_n do_v last_o the_o submission_n that_o be_v require_v by_o those_o that_o be_v under_o they_o minister_n and_o people_n be_v not_o absolute_a and_o such_o as_o no_o inferior_a priest_n or_o christian_a can_v without_o sin_n dissent_n from_o their_o judgement_n but_o in_o regard_n of_o external_a order_n and_o for_o the_o avoid_n of_o confusion_n and_o sect_n in_o the_o church_n as_o it_o be_v not_o leave_v free_a for_o every_o man_n to_o appoint_v or_o judge_v of_o matter_n of_o religion_n or_o to_o have_v they_o after_o their_o own_o way_n so_o it_o can_v but_o be_v a_o great_a disorder_n and_o consequent_o a_o sin_n for_o any_o man_n out_o of_o his_o private_a humour_n open_o to_o reclaim_v or_o to_o disobey_v those_o who_o be_v invest_v with_o the_o power_n of_o judicature_n this_o be_v the_o power_n that_o be_v give_v or_o challenge_v by_o the_o bishop_n it_o can_v but_o be_v a_o wonder_n to_o think_v that_o any_o man_n shall_v be_v so_o past_a all_o shame_n as_o so_o odious_o to_o clamour_v upon_o this_o ground_n against_o the_o bishop_n and_o father_n of_o the_o church_n and_o to_o deride_v and_o scorn_v the_o most_o reverend_a archbishop_n of_o cant._n call_v he_o the_o oracle_n and_o one_o that_o have_v a_o papal_a infallibility_n of_o spirit_n and_o the_o like_a but_o for_o a_o priest_n to_o do_v it_o put_v it_o beyond_o all_o wonder_n and_o astonishment_n especial_o if_o we_o consider_v these_o two_o thing_n first_o which_o be_v also_o observe_v by_o the_o reverend_a bishop_n of_o ely_n that_o ordination_n see_v the_o book_n of_o ordination_n at_o his_o ordination_n he_o promise_v yea_o swear_v that_o he_o will_v reverent_o obey_v the_o bishop_n and_o with_o a_o glad_a mind_n and_o will_v follow_v their_o godly_a admonition_n and_o submit_v to_o their_o godly_a judgement_n 2._o that_o every_o priest_n have_v a_o power_n of_o direct_v those_o that_o be_v under_o his_o charge_n in_o matter_n of_o religion_n and_o that_o the_o people_n ought_v to_o inquire_v the_o law_n at_o their_o mouth_n and_o to_o submit_v to_o their_o judgement_n which_o to_o take_v away_o from_o they_o be_v to_o rob_v they_o of_o a_o main_a part_n of_o the_o priestly_a function_n and_o yet_o i_o suppose_v neither_o challenge_v any_o papal_a infallibility_n of_o spirit_n nor_o require_v any_o blind_a obedience_n and_o therefore_o how_o he_o can_v
