night_n &_o day_n for_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n thy_o servant_n and_o knowledge_n for_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o child_n of_o israel_n which_o they_o have_v sin_v against_o the_o yea_o i_o and_o my_o father_n house_n have_v sin_v 7._o we_o have_v outragiouslie_o sin_v against_o thou_o and_o have_v not_o keapt_v thy_o commandment_n and_o thy_o ceremoneis_n and_o judgement_n which_o thou_o command_v moses_n thy_o servant_n as_o a_o man_n that_o be_v earnest_o bend_v to_o prayer_n have_v common_o these_o outward_a thing_n join_v with_o all_o that_o be_v speak_v of_o afore_o as_o sit_v or_o kneel_v weep_a a_o greeved_a mind_n sad_a countenance_n fast_v and_o abstinence_n so_o necessary_o he_o must_v have_v a_o charitable_a mind_n and_o pitiful_a towards_o his_o brother_n and_o a_o earnest_n and_o livelie_a faith_n towards_o god_n which_o both_o appear_v in_o nehemiah_n for_o without_o these_o tow_n his_o prayer_n can_v be_v hear_v his_o love_a mind_n towards_o his_o brother_n appear_v in_o that_o he_o leave_v all_o other_o pastime_n so_o diligent_o inquire_v of_o their_o estate_n and_o their_o country_n and_o disdain_v not_o to_o hear_v they_o but_o it_o be_v see_v more_o evident_o when_o he_o weep_v and_o mourn_v fa_v and_o forbear_v dainty_n as_o though_o he_o be_v in_o misery_n with_o they_o but_o special_o when_o he_o take_v so_o great_a pain_n and_o travail_n to_o do_v they_o good_a as_o appear_v hereafter_o throughout_o this_o book_n his_o earnest_a faith_n appear_v in_o that_o he_o pray_v and_o that_o only_a to_o the_o god_n of_o heaven_n and_o with_o such_o vehement_a and_o meet_a word_n as_o do_v declare_v his_o full_a mind_n that_o he_o doubt_v not_o but_o god_n both_o can_v and_o will_v help_v they_o in_o trouble_v no_o man_n ask_v help_v but_o ofhim_n who_o he_o think_v will_v do_v he_o good_a and_o because_o there_o be_v none_o so_o merciful_a to_o hear_v and_o so_o willing_a to_o help_v as_o god_n himself_o be_v in_o all_o our_o grief_n we_o must_v turn_v unto_o the_o lord_n of_o heaven_n alone_o for_o other_o faint_a there_o be_v none_o that_o 11._o will_v help_v or_o can_v help_v the_o apostle_n say_v that_o he_o which_o will_v come_v to_o the_o lord_n must_v not_o only_o believe_v that_o there_o be_v a_o god_n but_o also_o that_o he_o be_v a_o rewarder_n of_o they_o that_o seake_v he_o this_o faith_n therefore_o let_v we_o bring_v with_o we_o when_o we_o pray_v this_o faith_n do_v continue_v in_o nehemiah_n though_o he_o have_v live_v so_o many_o year_n among_o the_o unbelieve_a persian_n which_o be_v a_o special_a gift_n of_o god_n to_o he_o in_o such_o troublesome_a time_n in_o prayer_n let_v we_o ask_v only_o such_o thing_n as_o may_v stand_v with_o god_n good_a pleasure_n for_o where_o many_o time_n foolish_o we_o ask_v thing_n to_o our_o own_o hurt_n god_n of_o his_o wisdom_n and_o fatherly_a goodness_n do_v not_o grant_v they_o as_o s._n james_n teach_v we_o say_v you_o ask_v and_o receive_v not_o because_o you_o ask_v evil_o to_o spend_v it_o upon_o your_o lust_n i_o be_o afraid_a to_o enter_v into_o the_o open_n of_o this_o prayer_n because_o it_o be_v so_o perfect_v of_o itself_o that_o it_o can_v be_v amend_v yet_o for_o the_o help_n of_o the_o unlearned_a for_o who_o cause_n only_o i_o take_v these_o pain_n i_o shall_v in_o few_o word_n open_v it_o more_o plain_o o_o thou_o lord_n god_n of_o heaven_n &_o earth_n which_o of_o thy_o mere_a love_n towards_o man_n madestheaven_n &_o earth_n the_o sea_n with_o all_o the_o furniture_n in_o they_o as_o the_o son_n moon_n and_o star_n fish_n foul_a herb_n tree_n corn_n fruit_n and_o cattle_n and_o appoint_v they_o to_o serve_v he_o that_o he_o may_v serve_v honour_n and_o obey_v thou_o which_o not_o only_o rule_a feed_v govern_v &_o guide_v they_o all_o according_a to_o thy_o good_a pleasure_n but_o have_v make_v heaven_n thy_o seat_n and_o the_o earth_n thy_o footstole_n that_o from_o hence_o out_o of_o this_o vale_n of_o misery_n we_o shall_v look_v up_o unto_o thou_o our_o only_a god_n where_o thou_o reign_v in_o thy_o majesty_n above_o all_o the_o heaven_n &_o from_o whence_o we_o shall_v look_v for_o our_o deliverance_n out_o of_o all_o trouble_n o_o thou_o great_a &_o fearful_a god_n who_o creature_n pass_v all_o power_n of_o prince_n against_o who_o to_o strive_v be_v mere_a folly_n and_o with_o
