page_n three_o hundred_o and_o eighteen_o and_o three_o hundred_o and_o nineteen_o now_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o stone_n be_v to_o be_v set_v up_o in_o the_o day_n of_o the_o ten_o antichristian_a king_n therefore_o must_v the_o antichristian_a state_n be_v before_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o stone_n if_o so_o then_o can_v christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n be_v the_o thing_n signify_v by_o the_o stone_n for_o that_o be_v set_v up_o when_o christ_n first_o give_v forth_o his_o spirit_n immediate_o upon_o his_o ascension_n which_o be_v within_o the_o time_n that_o the_o iron_n leg_n of_o the_o image_n verse_n forty_o i_o e._n the_o roman_a monarchy_n in_o its_o first_o and_o as_o yet_o pagan_a state_n do_v bear_v rule_n be_v three_o hundred_o year_n and_o upward_o before_o the_o foot_n viz._n the_o antichristian_a state_n have_v existence_n or_o be_v in_o the_o world_n christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n therefore_o be_v long_o before_o antichrist_n kingdom_n be_v begin_v but_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o stone_n have_v not_o be_v till_o afterward_o it_o follow_v that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o stone_n can_v be_v christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n but_o must_v be_v a_o outward_a second_o reason_n because_o it_o be_v the_o stone_n proper_a and_o peculiar_a work_n to_o break_v in_o piece_n the_o great_a image_n i._n e._n outward_a power_n first_o that_o it_o be_v its_o proper_a work_n be_v clear_a because_o it_o do_v the_o thing_n not_o accidental_o but_o intentional_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v say_v to_o do_v it_o by_o smite_v verse_n thirty_o four_o thirty_o five_o &_o forty_o five_o which_o phrase_n note_v the_o intention_n of_o the_o agent_n it_o smite_v the_o great_a image_n with_o full_a purpose_n and_o resolution_n to_o break_v it_o and_o therefore_o observe_v it_o never_o leave_v smite_v after_o once_o it_o have_v begin_v till_o it_o have_v beat_v the_o great_a image_n to_o very_a chaff_n and_o dust_n vers_fw-la 35._o second_o that_o it_o be_v its_o principal_a work_n be_v clear_a because_o no_o other_o work_n be_v attribute_v to_o the_o stone_n but_o this_o only_a which_o show_v that_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o stone_n be_v a_o kingdom_n set_v up_o by_o god_n to_o perform_v this_o work_n which_o in_o case_n it_o do_v it_o not_o it_o do_v nothing_o but_o now_o the_o proper_a and_o principal_a work_n of_o christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n be_v another_o thing_n viz._n the_o increase_n and_o edify_v itself_o in_o love_n and_o it_o do_v not_o at_o all_o intermeddle_v much_o less_o undertake_v it_o as_o its_o proper_a and_o principal_a work_n with_o the_o rout_v and_o break_v of_o worldly_a power_n which_o if_o indeed_o it_o shall_v than_o christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n the_o proper_a and_o principal_a work_n hereof_o be_v once_o right_o apprehend_v by_o the_o saint_n the_o child_n of_o this_o kingdom_n will_v soon_o prove_v a_o thing_n of_o as_o dangerous_a consequence_n to_o the_o ruler_n of_o this_o world_n as_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o five_o monarchy_n either_o be_v or_o can_v be_v but_o this_o i_o say_v be_v not_o the_o work_n of_o christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n therefore_o can_v the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o stone_n be_v christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n but_o must_v be_v a_o outward_a three_o reason_n because_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o stone_n be_v such_o a_o kingdom_n as_o that_o the_o stand_n and_o continuance_n of_o the_o great_a image_n be_v altogether_o inconsistent_a with_o the_o growth_n and_o prosperity_n thereof_o which_o be_v clear_a because_o it_o neither_o do_v nor_o can_v grow_v up_o to_o be_v a_o great_a mountain_n fill_v the_o whole_a earth_n till_o the_o total_a removal_n of_o the_o great_a image_n verse_n thirty_o five_o but_o now_o the_o stand_n and_o continuance_n of_o the_o great_a image_n be_v no_o way_n inconsistent_a with_o the_o growth_n and_o prosperity_n of_o christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n but_o rather_o be_v indeed_o advantageous_a unto_o it_o as_o the_o persecution_n that_o christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n have_v meet_v with_o and_o that_o in_o all_o age_n from_o the_o great_a image_n which_o have_v always_o be_v the_o great_a and_o most_o effectual_a mean_n of_o its_o growth_n and_o fruitfulness_n do_v bear_v witness_n therefore_o can_v the_o spiritual_a kingdom_n of_o christ_n be_v the_o kingdom_n here_o mean_v four_o because_o the_o kingdom_n of_o the_o stone_n be_v a_o kingdom_n in_o respect_n of_o nature_n the_o same_o with_o the_o kingdom_n represent_v by_o the_o great_a image_n i._n e._n it_o be_v outward_a as_o they_o be_v outward_a which_o appear_v 1_o from_o the_o general_a scope_n and_o drift_n of_o the_o prophecy_n which_o run_v upon_o outward_a kingdom_n all_o the_o first_o four_o kingdom_n or_o monarchy_n be_v outward_a as_o none_o can_v deny_v why_o then_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o speak_v of_o the_o five_o and_o last_o shall_v so_o far_o vary_v his_o scope_n as_o present_o to_o glide_v from_o the_o outward_a kingdom_n to_o the_o inward_a ought_v beside_o the_o bare_a say_v so_o to_o have_v some_o solid_a and_o substantial_a reason_n bring_v for_o it_o by_o those_o whosoever_o they_o be_v that_o either_o do_v or_o shall_v assert_v it_o 2_o because_o it_o be_v not_o proper_a to_o say_v that_o a_o bare_a spiritual_a kingdom_n consider_v only_o as_o spiritual_n shall_v break_v in_o piece_n beat_v to_o very_a chaff_n grind_v to_o powder_v the_o great_a image_n i._n e._n destroy_v the_o very_a be_v of_o worldly_a kingdom_n which_o work_n be_v yet_o notwithstanding_o do_v by_o the_o stone_n as_o verse_n 35.44_o 45._o indeed_o christ_n spiritual_a kingdom_n may_v by_o that_o light_n and_o life_n it_o give_v forth_o much_o refine_v and_o
