ignorant_a profane_a bad_a person_n and_o hypocrite_n to_o distaste_n and_o wax_n weary_a of_o their_o evil_a and_o dangerous_a course_n for_o out_o of_o all_o these_o kind_n of_o wicked_a person_n do_v the_o lord_n daily_o call_v home_o some_o effectual_o where_o the_o gospel_n be_v sound_o plain_o and_o powerful_o preach_v and_o i_o will_v they_o shall_v know_v as_o much_o as_o i_o say_v to_o shall_v abide_v in_o my_o love_n as_o i_o have_v keep_v the_o commandment_n of_o my_o father_n and_o abide_v in_o his_o love_n and_o then_o immediate_o he_o add_v in_o the_o next_o verse_n these_o thing_n have_v i_o speak_v unto_o you_o that_o my_o joy_n may_v abide_v in_o you_o and_o that_o your_o joy_n may_v be_v full_a our_o saviour_n give_v charge_n to_o his_o disciple_n to_o keep_v and_o to_o practice_v his_o commandment_n that_o his_o joy_n may_v abide_v and_o that_o it_o may_v grow_v to_o be_v full_a in_o they_o many_o place_n may_v easy_o be_v allege_v to_o this_o purpose_n proverb_n 29.6_o in_o the_o transgression_n of_o a_o evil_a man_n be_v his_o snare_n but_o the_o righteous_a do_v sing_v and_o rejoice_v the_o wicked_a man_n by_o his_o transgression_n insnare_v and_o entangle_v himself_o in_o sorrow_n but_o the_o righteous_a that_o direct_v his_o way_n by_o the_o word_n he_o shall_v be_v merry_a and_o sing_v for_o joy_n the_o scripture_n in_o sundry_a place_n beat_v upon_o this_o point_n and_o therefore_o i_o will_v not_o stand_v so_o upon_o it_o do_v we_o therefore_o desire_v to_o lead_v and_o live_v a_o joyful_a life_n let_v we_o become_v good_a man_n by_o the_o practice_n of_o god_n word_n otherwise_o let_v we_o not_o look_v to_o have_v our_o joy_n continue_v but_o rather_o let_v we_o look_v for_o sorrow_n yea_o for_o sorrow_n upon_o sorrow_n as_o it_o be_v write_v psal_n 32.10_o many_o sorrow_n shall_v come_v to_o the_o wicked_a man_n to_o these_o mean_n that_o i_o have_v speak_v of_o may_v be_v add_v 32.10_o some_o that_o be_v touch_v by_o this_o our_o apostle_n 1._o thes_n 5.17.18_o prayer_n etc._n etc._n for_o have_v exhort_v they_o in_o the_o 16._o verse_n to_o rejoice_v always_o in_o the_o word_n follow_v he_o show_v by_o what_o mean_v they_o may_v continue_v this_o their_o joy_n and_o that_o be_v first_o by_o continual_a prayer_n for_o we_o have_v the_o promise_n of_o christ_n that_o whatsoever_o we_o ask_v of_o god_n according_a to_o his_o will_n in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n it_o shall_v be_v give_v unto_o us._n now_o this_o we_o know_v and_o be_v well_o assure_v of_o that_o it_o be_v according_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n that_o we_o shall_v rejoice_v so_o that_o if_o we_o pray_v for_o it_o earnest_o and_o continual_o he_o will_v be_v most_o willing_a and_o ready_a to_o grant_v our_o petition_n seek_v therefore_o the_o continuance_n and_o increase_n of_o this_o joy_n at_o god_n hand_n and_o thou_o shall_v find_v it_o knock_v for_o it_o by_o prayer_n at_o the_o door_n of_o god_n mercy_n and_o he_o will_v give_v it_o unto_o thou_o but_o alas_o this_o duty_n of_o prayer_n for_o joy_n be_v careless_o for_o the_o most_o part_n neglect_v man_n presume_v
