be_v cavil_v at_o by_o they_o as_o not_o agreeable_a to_o that_o law_n first_o that_o he_o may_v take_v away_o occasion_n from_o those_o that_o desire_a occasion_n he_o say_v plain_o he_o come_v not_o to_o destroy_v the_o law_n or_o the_o prophet_n but_o to_o fulfil_v and_o after_o that_o to_o show_v the_o vanity_n of_o their_o pretension_n to_o the_o law_n he_o give_v the_o right_a sense_n of_o law_n raise_v it_o up_o to_o that_o elevation_n which_o the_o lawgiver_n god_n himself_o intend_v by_o it_o and_o consequent_o it_o be_v necessary_a for_o these_o who_o will_v set_v up_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n if_o it_o be_v but_o in_o a_o rivality_n with_o he_o to_o hear_v how_o straight_o the_o gate_n shall_v be_v and_o how_o narrow_a the_o way_n that_o lead_v to_o life_n and_o how_o few_o shall_v find_v it_o but_o to_o his_o disciple_n his_o doctrine_n have_v another_o lesson_n all_o whatsoever_o he_o have_v say_v or_o whatsoever_o he_o will_v say_v be_v to_o be_v understand_v according_a to_o the_o term_n of_o the_o new_a covenant_n which_o he_o come_v to_o seal_v and_o establish_v for_o as_o he_o come_v not_o to_o destroy_v the_o law_n or_o the_o prophet_n so_o much_o less_o do_v he_o come_v to_o alter_v or_o to_o digress_v from_o the_o order_n and_o method_n of_o salvation_n which_o he_o have_v receive_v from_o the_o father_n that_o be_v to_o save_v all_o those_o that_o repent_v and_o believe_v this_o be_v the_o irreversible_a law_n of_o heaven_n nor_o be_v there_o any_o word_n ever_o come_v out_o of_o the_o mouth_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n than_o sixscore_o thousand_o person_n that_o be_v young_a and_o harmless_a young_a in_o respect_n of_o their_o age_n innocent_a in_o respect_n of_o their_o life_n who_o know_v not_o their_o right_a multitude_n of_o wretched_a sinner_n who_o he_o at_o first_o create_v after_o his_o own_o image_n and_o likeness_n partly_o because_o of_o their_o great_a number_n to_o save_v they_o from_o a_o bodily_a destruction_n yea_o and_o to_o plead_v so_o earnest_o against_o their_o adversary_n who_o will_v glad_o have_v see_v the_o city_n flame_v about_o their_o ear_n can_v we_o think_v but_o that_o he_o will_v much_o more_o show_v mercy_n to_o the_o soul_n of_o a_o much_o great_a multitude_n viz._n of_o the_o great_a part_n of_o the_o child_n of_o man_n to_o save_v they_o from_o the_o
