prisoner_n one_o subscribe_v by_o two_o of_o the_o deputy_n lieutenant_n command_v the_o prisoner_n to_o be_v keep_v in_o safe_a custody_n till_o furorder_n from_o the_o deputy_n lieutenant_n of_o this_o county_n who_o subscribe_v the_o warrant_n of_o his_o commitment_n at●owbridge_n ●owbridge_z the_o other_o commitment_n by_o five_o to_o keep_v he_o in_o safe_a custody_n till_o they_o do_v 30._o 1668._o upon_o the_o 8_o day_n of_o november_n 1668._o sir_n john_n a._n kt._n and_o dr._n w.b._n esq_n come_v to_o the_o angel_n in_o c._n and_o send_v for_o mr._n vavasor_n powel_n to_o come_v to_o they_o which_o he_o do_v according_o dr._n b._n we_o have_v receive_v a_o order_n from_o the_o council_n to_o tender_v you_o the_o oath_n of_o allegiance_n and_o supremacy_n mr._n p._n gentleman_n if_o that_o be_v your_o business_n i_o pray_v you_o let_v i_o return_v to_o my_o prison_n again_o for_o i_o be_o commit_v already_o and_o i_o think_v it_o be_v neither_o regular_a nor_o usual_a to_o tender_v they_o to_o a_o prisoner_n you_o shall_v either_o before_o my_o commitment_n especial_o before_o presentment_n or_o indictment_n against_o i_o have_v do_v it_o or_o upon_o examination_n or_o have_v convict_v and_o indict_v i_o first_o and_o then_o tender_v they_o and_o so_o the_o prisoner_n go_v towards_o the_o door_n intend_v to_o return_v to_o the_o prison_n b._n thereupon_o dr._n b._n go_v between_o he_o and_o the_o door_n and_o say_v nay_o stay_v sir_n you_o shall_v not_o be_v go_v and_o so_o call_v for_o some_o of_o the_o under_o officer_n or_o deputy_n p._n sir_n though_o i_o may_v have_v continue_v in_o my_o prison_n and_o not_o have_v come_v hither_o and_o may_v yet_o choose_v whetheir_o i_o stay_v or_o no_o yet_o as_o i_o be_v willing_a to_o show_v that_o respect_n to_o you_o in_o come_v so_o to_o express_v my_o readiness_n to_o answer_v any_o thing_n that_o may_v be_v object_v against_o i_o i_o do_v not_o mean_v to_o depart_v without_o leave_n b._n come_v mr._n powel_n will_v you_o take_v the_o oath_n for_o we_o have_v a_o order_n from_o some_o of_o the_o council_n and_o my_o lord_n keeper_n to_o tender_v they_o to_o you_o p._n
