the_o law_n and_o might_n without_o sin_n read_v in_o other_o book_n daily_o beside_o the_o book_n of_o the_o law_n affirmative_a precept_n bound_v semper_fw-la but_o not_o ad_fw-la semper_fw-la and_o so_o though_o we_o shall_v say_v it_o be_v a_o commandment_n of_o christ_n when_o you_o pray_v say_v etc._n etc._n as_o it_o look_v more_o like_o a_o precept_n injunction_n or_o command_v than_o a_o baptize_v in_o that_o form_n but_o the_o scripture_n speak_v express_o of_o some_o who_o be_v baptize_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n either_o by_o some_o of_o john_n disciple_n or_o by_o the_o apostle_n paul_n act_v 19.5_o but_o it_o no_o where_o record_n the_o baptism_n of_o any_o express_o in_o the_o other_o form_n now_o because_o of_o this_o practice_n of_o the_o church_n i_o collect_v they_o sin_v not_o who_o baptize_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n and_o because_o of_o christ_n command_n mat._n 28._o latter_a end_n i_o believe_v it_o very_o lawful_a to_o baptize_v in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o that_o it_o be_v now_o lawful_a and_o i_o think_v most_o expedient_a at_o least_o to_o say_v no_o more_o to_o baptize_v now_o in_o this_o same_o form_n of_o the_o father_n the_o son_n and_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o so_o in_o the_o present_a case_n although_o i_o read_v not_o in_o scripture_n that_o the_o disciple_n do_v use_v the_o lord_n prayer_n for_o a_o prayer_n yet_o it_o seem_v very_o strange_a if_o they_o never_o shall_v our_o saviour_n speak_v so_o express_o when_o you_o pray_v say_v our_o father_n etc._n etc._n yet_o i_o judge_v it_o lawful_a for_o they_o and_o so_o for_o we_o to_o use_v it_o because_o of_o this_o text_n yea_o i_o will_v add_v that_o put_v the_o case_n those_o who_o have_v the_o extraordinary_a miraculous_a assistance_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o pray_v do_v not_o actual_o use_v this_o very_a form_n yet_o i_o think_v it_o lawful_a and_o expedient_a for_o we_o to_o use_v it_o who_o have_v necessary_o no_o such_o infallible_a assistance_n and_o guidance_n in_o our_o prayer_n obj._n but_o the_o evangelist_n matthew_n chap._n 6.16_o and_o this_o evangelist_n luke_n here_o set_v down_o the_o lord_n prayer_n with_o some_o difference_n in_o the_o one_o it_o be_v forgive_v we_o our_o sin_n for_o we_o also_o forgive_v every_o one_o that_o be_v
