justice_n of_o assize_n have_v power_n to_o hear_v and_o determine_v these_o offence_n unto_o who_o the_o archbishop_n or_o bishop_n of_o the_o diocese_n may_v associate_v himself_o if_o he_o please_v x._o this_o shall_v not_o restrain_v any_o private_a man_n or_o public_a college_n to_o use_v the_o say_a service_n in_o such_o tongue_n as_o they_o understand_v the_o holy_a communion_n only_o except_v or_o any_o other_o to_o use_v psalm_n or_o prayer_n take_v out_o of_o the_o bible_n at_o convenient_a time_n not_o let_v thereby_o the_o say_a service_n xi_o the_o offence_n aforesaid_a shall_v be_v prosecute_v at_o the_o next_o assize_n or_o session_n of_o oyer_n and_o terminer_n after_o they_o be_v commit_v and_o here_o trial_n of_o peer_n shall_v be_v by_o peer_n xii_o chief_z officer_n of_o city_n and_o corporation_n shall_v also_o hear_v and_o determine_v these_o offence_n within_o their_o several_a prccinct_n and_o so_o likewise_o shall_v ecclesiastical_a magistrate_n howbeit_o none_o shall_v be_v punish_v above_o once_o for_o one_o offence_n xiii_o stat._n 5_o 6._o e._n 6.1_o every_o person_n shall_v resort_v to_o his_o parish_n church_n or_o chapel_n or_o upon_o make_v perfect_a and_o annex_v to_o this_o act._n together_o with_o the_o addition_n of_o consecrate_v archbishop_n bishop_n priest_n and_o deacon_n shall_v be_v use_v and_o esteem_v as_o by_o the_o statute_n of_o 2_o 3._o e._n 6.1_o be_v ordain_v under_o the_o pain_n in_o the_o same_o statute_n express_v xv._o if_o any_o shall_v be_v convict_v by_o verdict_n of_o twelve_o man_n before_o justice_n of_o assize_n oyer_n and_o terminer_n or_o peace_n in_o sess_n to_o have_v witting_o hear_v or_o to_o have_v be_v present_a at_o any_o other_o form_n of_o common_a prayer_n administration_n of_o sacrament_n make_v of_o minister_n or_o other_o rite_n then_o what_o be_v express_v in_o the_o say_a book_n or_o which_o be_v contrary_a to_o the_o say_a statute_n of_o 2_o &_o 3_o e._n 6.1_o shall_v for_o the_o first_o offence_n suffer_v six_o month_n imprisonment_n without_o bail_n for_o the_o second_o twelve_o month_n imprisonment_n and_o for_o the_o three_o imprisonment_n during_o life_n xvi_o stat._n 1._o m._n sess_n 2._o cap._n 3._o if_o any_o shall_v disturb_v a_o preacher_n lawful_o licence_v he_o shall_v be_v by_o the_o constable_n or_o churchwarden_n of_o the_o parish_n bring_v before_o a_o just_a of_o peace_n who_o upon_o due_a accusation_n shall_v present_o commit_v he_o to_o safe_a custody_n and_o within_o six_o day_n after_o together_o with_o another_o justice_n shall_v diligent_o examine_v the_o fact_n who_o if_o they_o find_v cause_n shall_v commit_v he_o to_o the_o common_a gaol_n there_o to_o remain_v for_o three_o month_n and_o from_o thence_o to_o the_o next_o quarter_n session_n at_o which_o upon_o the_o party_n reconciliation_n and_o enter_v into_o bond_n for_o the_o good_a behaviour_n for_o one_o whole_a year_n at_o the_o discretion_n of_o the_o justice_n in_o session_n he_o shall_v be_v release_v but_o if_o he_o persist_v still_o in_o his_o obstinacy_n he_o shall_v remain_v in_o prison_n without_o bail_n until_o he_o shall_v reconcile_v and_o be_v penitent_a for_o his_o offence_n xvii_o he_o that_o rescue_v a_o offender_n in_o this_o kind_n shall_v suffer_v like_o imprisonment_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o beside_o shall_v forfeit_v v._o li._n to_o the_o queen_n xviii_o the_o inhabitant_n of_o a_o town_n that_o suffer_v such_o a_o offender_n to_o escape_v shall_v forfeit_v v._o li._n be_v present_v before_o the_o justice_n of_o peace_n in_o sess_n within_o the_o county_n or_o corporation_n where_o the_o escape_n be_v make_v xix_o justice_n of_o peace_n assize_n and_o oyer_n and_o terminer_n and_o major_n and_o head_n officer_n of_o corporation_n have_v power_n to_o hear_v and_o determine_v these_o offence_n and_o to_o impose_v the_o fine_n aforesaid_a xx._n this_o act_n shall_v not_o restrain_v the_o jurisdiction_n of_o the_o ecclesiastical_a law_n howbeit_o none_o shall_v be_v punish_v twice_o for_o one_o offence_n xxi_o stat._n 1._o el._n 2._o every_o minister_n shall_v use_v the_o church_n service_n in_o such_o form_n as_o be_v mention_v in_o the_o book_n of_o common_a prayer_n establish_v by_o 5_o 6._o e._n 6.1_o together_o with_o the_o addition_n of_o certain_a lesson_n to_o be_v use_v on_o every_o sunday_n in_o the_o year_n and_o the_o form_n of_o the_o litany_n alter_v and_o correct_v and_o two_o sentence_n only_o add_v in_o the_o delivery_n of_o the_o sacrament_n to_o communicant_n xxii_o if_o any_o minister_n shall_v be_v convict_v by_o the_o verdict_n of_o twelve_o man_n his_o own_o confession_n or_o notorious_a evidence_n of_o the_o fact_n to_o have_v refuse_v to_o use_v the_o say_a church_n service_n or_o to_o have_v use_v any_o other_o rite_n ceremony_n order_n form_n or_o manner_n then_o be_v set_v forth_o in_o the_o say_a book_n or_o to_o have_v deprave_v the_o same_o book_n or_o any_o thing_n therein_o contain_v he_o shall_v forfeit_v be_v a_o benefit_a man_n for_o the_o first_o offence_n one_o whole_a year_n profit_v of_o all_o his_o spiritual_a promotion_n and_o suffer_v six_o month_n imprisonment_n for_o the_o second_o shall_v be_v deprive_v ipsofacto_fw-la whereupon_o every_o patron_n may_v present_v and_o shall_v suffer_v one_o whole_a year_n imprisonment_n and_o for_o the_o three_o shall_v be_v also_o deprive_v as_o aforesaid_a and_o shall_v suffer_v imprisonment_n during_o life_n and_o if_o he_o be_v not_o benefice_v for_o the_o first_o offence_n he_o shall_v suffer_v one_o whole_a year_n imprisonment_n and_o for_o the_o second_o imprisonment_n during_o life_n xxiii_o if_o any_o shall_v be_v convict_v to_o have_v by_o interlude_n play_n song_n rhyme_n or_o otherwise_o deprave_v the_o say_a book_n or_o to_o have_v compel_v or_o procure_v the_o minister_n to_o sing_v or_o say_v any_o other_o church_n service_n or_o in_o any_o other_o form_n then_o as_o aforesaid_a or_o by_o any_o such_o mean_n to_o have_v interrupt_v or_o let_v the_o minister_n to_o sing_v or_o say_v the_o say_a service_n they_o shall_v for_o the_o first_o offence_n forfeit_v 100_o mark_n to_o the_o queen_n or_o that_o not_o pay_v within_o six_o week_n after_o conviction_n shall_v suffer_v in_o stead_n thereof_o six_o month_n imprisonment_n for_o the_o second_o offence_n shall_v forfeit_v 400._o mark_n or_o that_o not_o
