Every Spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the Flesh is of God and every Spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the Flesh 1 Joh. 4.15 c. is not of God Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God God dwelleth in him and he in God 1 Joh. 5.1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him Joh. 20.30.31 Many other signs did Jesus in the presence of his Disciples which are not written in this Book but these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God and that believing ye might have life through his Name These and such like are plain Scriptures and absolutely necessary
