place_n let_v we_o take_v a_o view_n of_o his_o mercy_n mix_v in_o herewith_o in_o the_o manner_n of_o moses_n death_n which_o be_v the_o 2d_o thing_n propose_v and_o here_o also_o take_v notice_n of_o five_o thing_n first_o however_o the_o lord_n will_v have_v he_o die_v for_o this_o sin_n yet_o he_o warn_v he_o of_o it_o a_o long_a time_n before_o he_o die_v yea_o and_o determine_v both_o time_n &_o place_n get_v up_o to_o mount_v nebo_n &_o die_v it_o be_v a_o great_a encouragement_n to_o the_o saint_n in_o their_o death_n that_o it_o come_v not_o on_o they_o as_o a_o thief_n in_o the_o night_n yea_o and_o though_o it_o be_v not_o reveal_v to_o they_o as_o to_o moses_n yet_o both_o time_n and_o place_n be_v so_o determine_v as_o all_o their_o adversary_n can_v alter_v the_o least_o circumstance_n though_o one_o of_o they_o die_v in_o his_o bed_n another_z in_o the_o sea_n the_o three_o in_o a_o foreign_a land_n yet_o not_o one_o hair_n of_o their_o head_n fall_v without_o their_o heavenly_a father_n his_o providence_n and_o though_o secondary_a cause_n work_v contingent_o yet_o the_o event_n follow_v necessary_o as_o it_o be_v decree_v second_o ere_o he_o die_v though_o the_o lord_n chastise_v he_o for_o his_o sin_n yet_o the_o lord_n give_v he_o a_o view_n of_o canaan_n before_o his_o death_n deut._n 3_o 27._o get_v thou_o up_o to_o the_o top_n of_o pisgah_n and_o behold_v it_o with_o thy_o eye_n the_o passage_n through_o the_o valley_n of_o the_o shadow_n of_o death_n be_v indeed_o dowisome_a but_o a_o view_n of_o canaan_n will_v make_v it_o so_o lightsome_a that_o some_o of_o the_o saint_n have_v cry_v out_o on_o death_n for_o his_o slow_a motion_n towards_o they_o and_o when_o recover_v out_o of_o sickness_n that_o threaten_a death_n have_v half_o repyne_v that_o they_o shall_v have_v be_v within_o sight_n of_o the_o land_n and_o yet_o drive_v back_o to_o sea_n again_o and_o wise_o the_o lord_n reserve_v these_o sight_n of_o canaan_n till_o his_o saint_n have_v death_n to_o grapple_v with_o that_o he_o may_v allay_v a_o little_a the_o bitter_a pill_n and_o suggar_n it_o better_o before_o they_o swallow_v it_o three_o this_o death_n of_o moses_n it_o be_v indeed_o a_o chastisement_n of_o his_o unbelief_n yet_o withal_o a_o reward_n of_o his_o faith_n which_o he_o have_v one_fw-mi eye_n to_o heb._n 11._o v._o 15._o when_o he_o prefer_v the_o reproach_n of_o christ_n to_o the_o treasure_n of_o egypt_n there_o be_v indeed_o in_o death_n something_o bumble_v to_o the_o saint_n but_o there_o be_v also_o something_o comfortable_a if_o it_o be_v a_o fruit_n of_o sin_n and_o the_o wage_n of_o it_o it_o be_v likeways_o the_o passage_n to_o glory_n and_o the_o truth_n be_v as_o in_o our_o life_n so_o till_o it_o end_v betwixt_o the_o view_n of_o sin_n and_o glory_n our_o joy_n and_o sorrow_n ebb_v and_o flow_v four_o moses_n death_n though_o it_o proceed_v from_o his_o disobedience_n yet_o it_o be_v in_o itself_o one_fw-mi act_n of_o obedience_n the_o same_o god_n who_o bid_v he_o go_v down_o to_o egypt_n and_o speak_v to_o pharaoh_n bid_v he_o now_o go_v up_o to_o mount_v nebo_n and_o die_v and_o he_o obey_v the_o one_o all_o be_v well_o as_o the_o other_o up_o he_o go_v and_o die_v as_o it_o be_v say_v of_o christ_n so_o may_v it_o be_v say_v of_o his_o saint_n he_o be_v obedient_a unto_o the_o death_n so_o be_v they_o there_o be_v some_o their_o soul_n be_v take_v from_o they_o and_o they_o be_v carry_v to_o death_n as_o a_o prisoner_n unto_o ward_n by_o the_o officer_n but_o his_o people_n give_v up_o the_o ghost_n when_o it_o be_v call_v for_o and_o as_o they_o live_v obey_v so_o they_o die_v last_o moses_n in_o his_o death_n be_v careful_a for_o israel_n that_o it_o shall_v prosper_v after_o he_o be_v dead_a for_o this_o end_n he_o repeat_v the_o law_n over_o again_o to_o they_o in_o the_o book_n
