exceed_o wherefore_o out_o of_o this_o place_n let_v we_o learn_v that_o we_o shall_v be_v never_o able_a to_o execute_v great_a and_o weighty_a affair_n except_o we_o go_v about_o they_o with_o all_o our_o might_n because_o both_o our_o ability_n be_v small_a and_o satan_n hardly_o withstand_v we_o so_o that_o nothing_o be_v more_o like_a than_o that_o our_o heart_n shall_v fail_v we_o but_o as_o though_o he_o will_v of_o purpose_n drive_v they_o to_o cast_v off_o his_o yoke_n howbeit_o it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v doubt_v but_o that_o his_o tongue_n be_v govern_v by_o the_o direction_n of_o god_n spirit_n that_o he_o may_v touch_v they_o at_o the_o very_a heart_n for_o when_o god_n drive_v man_n into_o his_o obedience_n they_o be_v often_o time_n willing_a enough_o to_o profess_v the_o desire_n of_o godliness_n from_o which_o notwithstanding_o they_o fall_v away_o soon_o after_o so_o they_o build_v without_o a_o foundation_n this_o come_v to_o pass_v because_o they_o do_v neither_o distrust_v their_o own_o weakness_n so_o much_o as_o they_o ought_v to_o do_v nor_o consider_v how_o hard_o a_o thing_n it_o be_v to_o geve_v over_o themselves_o whole_o to_o god_n wherefore_o we_o of_o their_o answer_n be_v that_o see_v god_n by_o marvelous_a redemption_n have_v purchase_v they_o to_o be_v his_o peculiar_a people_n and_o have_v always_o assist_v they_o and_o show_v that_o he_o be_v their_o god_n it_o shall_v be_v detestable_a unthankfulness_n if_o they_o shall_v forsake_v he_o and_o fall_v to_o strange_a god_n 19_o and_o joshua_n say_v etc_n etc_n here_o it_o seem_v that_o joshua_n do_v altogether_o unreasonable_o which_o discourage_v the_o prompt_a and_o willing_a desire_n of_o the_o people_n for_o to_o what_o end_n do_v he_o deny_v that_o they_o be_v able_a to_o serve_v god_n but_o that_o by_o very_a impossibility_n he_o may_v cast_v they_o in_o despair_n whereby_o they_o must_v needs_o be_v alienate_v from_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n but_o by_o this_o so_o sharp_a contestation_n it_o be_v needful_a that_o the_o people_n which_o be_v slack_a and_o dull_a through_o security_n shall_v be_v awaken_v which_o thing_n we_o see_v lack_v not_o good_a success_n though_o it_o continue_v not_o long_o for_o they_o be_v not_o discourage_v nor_o make_v slack_a but_o have_v overcome_v this_o hindrance_n they_o answer_v ready_o that_o they_o will_v be_v constant_a yet_o pollute_v with_o idol_n we_o may_v see_v as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o clear_a glass_n how_o sweet_o the_o great_a part_n of_o man_n do_v flatter_v themselves_o in_o their_o vice_n which_o against_o man_n will_v think_v that_o the_o idol_n of_o chaldea_n be_v lay_v up_o in_o their_o closert_n or_o else_o that_o they_o bring_v those_o filthy_a corruption_n out_o of_o egypt_n which_o shall_v be_v cause_n of_o hateful_a discord_n between_o god_n and_o they_o wherefore_o the_o simple_a sense_n be_v that_o they_o shall_v renounce_v all_o idol_n and_o deliver_v themselves_o from_o all_o
