deed_n be_v good_a when_o they_o be_v give_v out_o of_o our_o own_o good_n &_o our_o own_o stock_n neither_o be_v that_o alm_n allowable_a which_o be_v give_v out_o of_o the_o good_n of_o another_o for_o god_n and_o justice_n have_v thus_o decree_v therefore_o how_o may_v we_o do_v according_a to_o the_o sentence_n of_o the_o law_n which_o say_v that_o we_o must_v give_v of_o all_o whatsoever_o care_v not_o much_o whether_o thou_o speak_v against_o or_o for_o other_o for_o every_o one_o of_o the_o musslemans_n do_v allow_v riches_n and_o good_n get_v by_o rapine_n or_o any_o other_o way_n the_o save_n from_o hell_n fire_n because_o our_o prophet_n say_v in_o the_o chapter_n amran_n that_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a to_o be_v save_v but_o by_o his_o law_n and_o in_o the_o chapter_n albacara_n he_o say_v that_o the_o jew_n and_o the_o christian_n shall_v be_v save_v how_o these_o do_v agree_v shall_z there_o be_v in_o truth_n a_o manifest_a opposition_n and_o repugnancy_n between_o these_o two_o speech_n ah_o see_v that_o the_o christian_n and_o jew_n shall_v be_v save_v wherefore_o do_v our_o prophet_n command_v those_o that_o do_v not_o believe_v his_o law_n shall_v be_v slay_v or_o that_o they_o shall_v pay_v tribute_n and_o poll-money_n shall_z this_o also_o be_v contrary_a to_o his_o own_o say_n for_o in_o the_o chapter_n albacara_n he_o write_v that_o in_o shall_z where_o be_v there_o not_o some_o contradiction_n as_o in_o that_o assora_n where_o he_o write_v that_o the_o disciple_n of_o christ_n do_v say_v to_o he_o that_o they_o be_v mohammeds_n follower_n he_o write_v also_o that_o god_n say_v to_o mohan_n that_o he_o be_v the_o first_o that_o write_v the_o alkoran_n now_o if_o this_o be_v true_a then_o that_o can_v which_o follow_v videlicet_fw-la that_o the_o disciple_n of_o christ_n do_v not_o follow_v mohammed_n for_o the_o disciple_n of_o christ_n be_v before_o mohammed_n 600_o year_n therefore_o this_o allegation_n be_v prophecy_n of_o almighty_a god_n see_v that_o our_o prophet_n do_v commend_v these_o book_n therefore_o he_o show_v that_o he_o also_o do_v read_v these_o book_n ah_o i_o do_v not_o confess_v so_o much_o for_o he_o do_v not_o know_v any_o other_o but_o the_o arabic_a tongue_n only_o yet_o by_o a_o interpreter_n he_o hear_v that_o which_o be_v contain_v in_o the_o book_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o christian_n ah_o if_o they_o be_v not_o learned_a and_o upright_a man_n it_o be_v to_o be_v doubt_v whether_o they_o have_v in_o those_o thing_n by_o reason_n of_o their_o ignorance_n speak_v the_o truth_n or_o have_v not_o alter_v the_o word_n and_o so_o now_o they_o be_v not_o as_o they_o be_v and_o therefore_o by_o reason_n of_o their_o perverseness_n they_o speak_v contradiction_n shall_z it_o may_v be_v that_o both_o the_o one_o and_o the_o other_o be_v false_a but_o by_o reason_n of_o our_o faith_n we_o must_v be_v ground_v in_o the_o truth_n and_o give_v ourselves_o to_o the_o read_n of_o those_o book_n for_o this_o may_v be_v a_o mean_n to_o expound_v our_o law_n and_o we_o may_v learn_v by_o these_o book_n how_o to_o answer_v our_o doubt_n of_o the_o which_o we_o as_o yet_o be_v ignorant_a ah_o now_o this_o on_o our_o part_n be_v a_o foul_a shame_n for_o we_o be_v forbid_v to_o take_v delight_n in_o any_o thing_n wherein_o there_o be_v find_v any_o fable_n do_v become_v also_o ignorant_a of_o those_o thing_n which_o may_v turn_v to_o the_o salvation_n of_o our_o soul_n which_o we_o ought_v especial_o to_o know_v shall_z and_o therefore_o every_o learned_a our_o understanding_n &_o apprehension_n in_o the_o speculation_n of_o heavenly_a thing_n and_o understand_v of_o the_o majesty_n of_o god_n and_o by_o reason_n of_o these_o frivolous_a thing_n and_o parable_n which_o be_v read_v in_o this_o azoara_n and_o in_o that_o other_o azoara_n in_o very_a deed_n they_o do_v not_o beseem_v neither_o be_v they_o worthy_a of_o that_o book_n see_v that_o none_o of_o they_o be_v any_o way_n profitable_a unto_o us._n shall_z i_o tell_v thou_o that_o our_o prophet_n do_v prefer_v the_o understanding_n of_o his_o book_n and_o his_o law_n unto_o the_o holy_a book_n of_o the_o old_a testament_n and_o of_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n as_o the_o true_a commentary_n for_o he_o also_o have_v teach_v that_o the_o book_n of_o moses_n and_o the_o book_n of_o the_o prophet_n and_o gospel_n do_v contain_v the_o high_a and_o profitable_a sense_n convenient_a for_o all_o now_o i_o do_v not_o know_v why_o we_o do_v not_o translate_v they_o see_v that_o it_o be_v a_o great_a danger_n to_o our_o soul_n ah_o i_o also_o do_v acknowledge_v that_o the_o read_n of_o these_o book_n be_v profitable_a and_o convenient_a see_v that_o our_o prophet_n do_v much_o commend_v they_o but_o yet_o i_o be_o not_o content_a neither_o do_v it_o seem_v to_o i_o a_o equal_a thing_n that_o we_o musslemans_fw-mi with_o all_o our_o iniquity_n which_o do_v spring_v out_o of_o we_o shall_v believe_v that_o we_o shall_v enter_v into_o paradise_n only_o for_o the_o confession_n of_o the_o unity_n of_o god_n and_o that_o his_o prophet_n mohammed_n be_v of_o god_n for_o the_o confession_n of_o the_o unity_n be_v not_o deny_v of_o the_o jew_n no_o nor_o of_o the_o christian_n therefore_o this_o confession_n be_v without_o any_o particular_a reward_n to_o us._n the_o confession_n also_o that_o mohammed_n be_v his_o prophet_n and_o his_o friend_n what_o profit_n have_v we_o by_o this_o confession_n shall_z for_o the_o service_n of_o god_n &_o his_o praise_n as_o be_v meet_v we_o ought_v to_o stir_v up_o our_o understanding_n unto_o thing_n of_o the_o deep_a conceit_n also_o we_o ought_v before_o all_o thing_n to_o know_v see_v that_o god_n which_o be_v just_a and_o pure_a and_o the_o fountain_n of_o goodness_n and_o perfection_n have_v create_v man_n after_o his_o own_o image_n and_o likeness_n according_a to_o himself_o that_o be_v have_v make_v he_o most_o perfect_a and_o without_o sin_n that_o therefore_o after_o the_o disobedience_n of_o the_o man_n and_o the_o fault_n which_o he_o have_v commit_v of_o necessity_n every_o man_n must_v work_v iniquity_n until_o he_o be_v restore_v unto_o his_o former_a justice_n and_o antecedent_n perfection_n the_o obtain_n of_o which_o be_v impossible_a but_o by_o the_o help_n of_o god_n and_o knowledge_n of_o his_o gloririous_a law_n and_o by_o the_o do_n of_o good_a work_n according_a to_o the_o determination_n of_o his_o glorious_a will_n and_o pleasure_n ah_o this_o deep_a speculation_n precedent_a thing_n and_o the_o gospel_n be_v and_o because_o he_o say_v those_o book_n be_v give_v by_o god_n he_o signify_v that_o those_o book_n do_v contain_v all_o perfection_n and_o goodness_n therefore_o we_o ought_v to_o confess_v that_o those_o book_n appertain_v unto_o the_o salvation_n of_o all_o the_o world_n &_o of_o every_o several_a person_n in_o the_o same_o shall_z yea_o &_o i_o do_v take_v down_o their_o tent_n i_o pray_v god_n that_o this_o consideration_n may_v enter_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o all_o and_o every_o mussleman_n that_o every_o one_o of_o we_o may_v consider_v pride_n without_o faith_n accurse_v with_o the_o devil_n in_o gehenna_n for_o ever_o and_o ever_o shall_z these_o conceit_n of_o you_o do_v strike_v a_o terror_n into_o i_o but_o that_o this_o sin_n be_v not_o lay_v to_o the_o charge_n of_o my_o soul_n i_o will_v satisfy_v thou_o yet_o to_o morrow_n not_o now_o for_o now_o the_o time_n be_v well_o spend_v and_o the_o night_n grow_v on_o i_o blot_v out_o the_o name_n of_o our_o prophet_n who_o in_o the_o alkoran_n in_o many_o place_n do_v commend_v christ_n and_o the_o virgin_n mary_n his_o mother_n therefore_o if_o the_o christian_n have_v put_v out_o any_o name_n they_o will_v have_v put_v out_o the_o name_n of_o the_o jew_n which_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o his_o death_n or_o the_o name_n of_o pilate_n who_o crucify_v christ_n not_o mohammed_n that_o commend_v he_o ah_o if_o this_o be_v thus_o it_o be_v confess_v by_o thou_o that_o these_o book_n be_v never_o corrupt_v and_o then_o that_o they_o be_v book_n which_o have_v remain_v 600_o year_n to_o wit_n from_o christ_n unto_o the_o come_n of_o our_o prophet_n shall_z by_o the_o aforesaid_a demonstration_n thou_o must_v of_o necessity_n say_v so_o willing_o believe_v it_o and_o confess_v as_o much_o for_o the_o contrary_a &_o adverse_a opinion_n be_v every_o way_n without_o any_o show_n of_o probability_n and_o have_v no_o ground_n ah_o our_o prophet_n in_o the_o chapter_n albakara_n say_v in_o the_o person_n of_o god_n himself_o we_o have_v send_v down_o the_o prophecy_n of_o god_n and_o we_o have_v keep_v it_o now_o it_o seem_v to_o i_o that_o the_o meaning_n of_o this_o word_n prophecy_n be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o glorious_a gospel_n shall_z so_o indeed_o this_o place_n be_v understand_v ah_o therefore_o our_o prophet_n say_v it_o that_o he_o also_o do_v magnify_v the_o gospel_n and_o do_v according_a to_o the_o precept_n of_o the_o same_o shall_z this_o be_v very_o apparent_a for_o he_o do_v high_o commend_v it_o and_o say_v that_o it_o be_v give_v by_o god_n and_o be_v complete_a and_o perfect_a ah_o i_o have_v read_v also_o in_o the_o chapter_n almaïda_n this_o say_n to_o have_v many_o book_n and_o to_o increase_v they_o do_v profit_n nothing_o without_o a_o fulfil_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o law_n that_o be_v of_o that_o which_o our_o prophet_n do_v â—each_v in_o it_o shall_z by_o have_v of_o book_n be_v â—ignified_v the_o musslemans_n and_o so_o it_o be_v understand_v also_o in_o the_o assora_n annesa_n and_o other_o place_n ah_o we_o say_v that_o god_n almighty_a give_v the_o law_n to_o our_o prophet_n last_o of_o all_o as_o a_o â—eale_v of_o the_o prophet_n and_o complement_n of_o the_o law_n of_o those_o which_o go_v before_o how_o then_o be_v it_o give_v unto_o the_o mosaical_a law_n and_o the_o gospel_n shall_z we_o do_v also_o say_v he_o be_v a_o general_a prophet_n to_o all_o prophet_n but_o we_o know_v that_o he_o know_v not_o any_o language_n but_o the_o arabic_a tongue_n only_o neither_o do_v he_o speak_v any_o other_o language_n neither_o have_v he_o learn_v any_o other_o tongue_n and_o indeed_o the_o alkoran_n be_v not_o find_v write_v in_o any_o other_o language_n but_o in_o the_o arabic_a tongue_n only_o ah_o therefore_o there_o remain_v yet_o another_o great_a difficulty_n videl_n how_o this_o law_n shall_v be_v universal_a see_v that_o it_o be_v not_o find_v write_v but_o in_o the_o arabic_a tongue_n only_o and_o for_o that_o this_o our_o prophet_n can_v not_o speak_v any_o word_n of_o any_o other_o language_n and_o because_o that_o he_o and_o his_o law_n be_v not_o for_o all_o man_n &_o for_o all_o creature_n or_o people_n shall_z wherefore_o do_v you_o think_v so_o ah_o because_o i_o do_v see_v that_o god_n almighty_n will_v first_o that_o the_o gospel_n shall_v be_v for_o a_o general_a law_n to_o all_o man_n and_o therefore_o god_n of_o all_o goodness_n give_v the_o knowledge_n of_o all_o tongue_n miraculous_o to_o his_o apostle_n and_o to_o shall_z i_o tell_v thou_o that_o our_o prophet_n say_v that_o himself_o do_v not_o understand_v his_o own_o law_n but_o god_n only_o do_v understand_v it_o for_o he_o be_v most_o skilful_a who_o therefore_o can_v teach_v it_o or_o know_v how_o to_o preach_v it_o ah_o therefore_o we_o do_v follow_v that_o which_o be_v unknown_a to_o us._n now_o how_o much_o and_o how_o gross_o do_v they_o err_v which_o do_v not_o understand_v or_o have_v not_o hear_v the_o law_n but_o by_o your_o patience_n i_o understand_v that_o this_o reason_n be_v not_o receive_v as_o current_n shall_z wherefore_o ah_o because_o that_o in_o the_o alkoran_n there_o be_v in_o truth_n no_o sentence_n write_v but_o it_o may_v be_v understand_v of_o every_o one_o that_o understand_v the_o arabic_a tongue_n yea_o and_o thou_o know_v it_o for_o thou_o have_v read_v much_o shall_z i_o know_v well_o but_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o loftiness_n of_o the_o phrase_n of_o our_o prophet_n i_o speak_v it_o ah_o but_o let_v we_o leave_v all_o other_o demonstration_n and_o let_v we_o consider_v this_o one_o sentence_n only_o to_o wit_n that_o say_v that_o god_n give_v his_o law_n in_o the_o world_n which_o may_v not_o be_v understand_v especial_o of_o those_o which_o follow_v i_o t_z it_o be_v beyond_o the_o reach_n of_o reason_n and_o compass_v of_o faith_n shall_z truth_n it_o be_v that_o this_o be_v strange_a yet_o it_o may_v not_o be_v speak_v of_o god_n almighty_a for_o a_o understanding_n and_o just_a man_n do_v not_o command_v to_o another_o man_n any_o thing_n but_o that_o which_o he_o do_v understand_v which_o be_v within_o his_o ability_n &_o be_v possible_a for_o he_o to_o do_v and_o so_o if_o god_n be_v most_o wise_a and_o just_a he_o will_v not_o force_v the_o soul_n to_o any_o thing_n but_o that_o which_o be_v within_o compass_n of_o it_o this_o confession_n be_v sound_a and_o thus_o we_o ought_v to_o believe_v for_o god_n be_v most_o wise_a and_o just_a in_o very_a deed_n ah_o yet_o i_o can_v but_o marvel_n how_o it_o come_v to_o pass_v that_o our_o prophet_n in_o his_o alkoran_n which_o be_v the_o law_n of_o god_n a_o serious_a matter_n as_o wherein_o be_v declare_v the_o mean_n of_o the_o salvation_n of_o our_o soul_n have_v insert_v in_o it_o such_o small_a matter_n and_o so_o impertinent_a as_o of_o the_o ant_n of_o the_o smoke_n and_o such_o like_a for_o these_o do_v no_o way_n further_o a_o man_n in_o matter_n of_o religion_n or_o of_o his_o salvation_n i_o pray_v you_o what_o profit_n do_v you_o get_v by_o the_o ant_n that_o do_v speak_v or_o do_v not_o speak_v but_o laugh_v or_o that_o the_o heaven_n be_v make_v of_o the_o smoke_n and_o the_o smoke_n of_o green_a thing_n and_o of_o the_o sea_n and_o that_o the_o sea_n do_v run_v from_o the_o mount_n kaf_n which_o do_v compass_v the_o whole_a world_n and_o the_o earth_n and_o support_v the_o celestial_a orb_n shall_z this_o the_o astronomer_n do_v deny_v yea_o all_o philosopher_n do_v improve_v this_o opinion_n but_o therefore_o they_o be_v speak_v parabolical_o ah_o it_o be_v a_o foul_a shame_n that_o we_o shall_v say_v so_o that_o in_o our_o law_n i_o mean_v there_o shall_v be_v any_o such_o thing_n that_o either_o of_o wise_a man_n or_o of_o other_o shall_v be_v take_v as_o false_a and_o fabulous_a for_o then_o every_o thing_n shall_v remain_v doubtful_a and_o uncertain_a neither_o do_v i_o know_v which_o way_n or_o what_o part_n to_o take_v to_o prove_v that_o this_o law_n only_o be_v true_a and_o necessary_a to_o salvation_n see_v that_o we_o can_v prove_v this_o that_o it_o be_v demonstrate_v by_o apparent_a miracle_n from_o god_n now_o if_o it_o shall_v be_v say_v that_o this_o law_n come_v from_o godâ—_n as_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n do_v which_o god_n give_v unto_o moses_n in_o mount_n sinai_n in_o the_o day_n time_n with_o fire_n thunder_a and_o great_a lightning_n for_o the_o satisfaction_n of_o his_o people_n which_o see_v and_o hear_v and_o mean_v to_o rest_v themselves_o let_v we_o also_o do_v as_o they_o do_v and_o let_v we_o be_v near_o one_o another_o here_o and_o to_o morrow_n by_o god_n grace_n we_o shall_v have_v time_n to_o confer_v again_o of_o this_o matter_n and_o then_o let_v we_o speak_v of_o such_o thing_n as_o may_v also_o concern_v we_o to_o know_v for_o our_o salvation_n ah_o when_o we_o have_v a_o purpose_n to_o confer_v of_o thing_n which_o be_v the_o fountain_n of_o profit_n and_o also_o necessary_a unto_o our_o salvation_n i_o beseech_v thou_o let_v we_o go_v always_o together_o but_o for_o this_o time_n let_v we_o rest_v in_o the_o name_n of_o god_n and_o to_o morrow_n if_o god_n almighty_n say_v amenâ—_n we_o will_v meet_v and_o confere_o together_o the_o end_n of_o the_o second_o dialogue_n fruit_n of_o the_o understanding_n and_o what_o thou_o mean_v by_o plant_n good_a for_o nothing_o ah_o by_o flower_n i_o do_v give_v to_o understand_v evil_a thought_n and_o cogitation_n by_o fruit_n good_a work_n which_o arâ—_n perfect_a and_o be_v do_v of_o good_a man_n and_o such_o as_o be_v true_a believer_n by_o bush_n be_v understand_v evil_a cogitation_n which_o be_v conceive_v against_o we_o and_o hurt_v our_o good_a name_n last_o by_o unprofitable_a weâ—ds_n be_v understand_v bad_a deed_n which_o do_v grow_v out_o of_o the_o perverse_a heart_n of_o man_n which_o be_v like_a unto_o a_o stony_a field_n that_o be_v untilled_a and_o never_o come_v near_o unto_o perfection_n shall_z and_o i_o in_o truth_n do_v understand_v that_o our_o conference_n have_v be_v like_o a_o text_n expound_v out_o of_o our_o law_n many_o subtle_a thing_n as_o also_o out_o of_o other_o book_n commend_v and_o allow_v by_o our_o prophet_n ah_o and_o by_o this_o mean_v i_o do_v know_v myself_o out_o of_o thy_o conference_n aforesaid_a for_o i_o have_v before_o this_o hear_v that_o our_o understanding_n be_v perfect_v by_o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o subtlety_n of_o the_o law_n which_o do_v drive_v out_o vain_a &_o evil_a thought_n which_o do_v not_o work_v any_o good_a work_n shall_z because_o i_o see_v thou_o take_v pleasure_n in_o these_o conference_n and_o that_o thy_o understanding_n be_v enlighten_v with_o these_o â—ine_z speculation_n i_o do_v love_n always_o to_o confer_v with_o thou_o for_o i_o be_o delight_v and_o very_o much_o please_v with_o the_o study_n of_o good_a book_n and_o the_o speculation_n of_o spiritual_a thing_n i_o delight_v also_o above_o measure_n in_o thy_o spiritual_a fruit_n and_o thou_o content_a i_o well_o ah_o i_o will_v to_o god_n i_o may_v hear_v thou_o continual_o that_o i_o may_v remain_v in_o thy_o service_n and_o presence_n always_o for_o the_o increase_n of_o learning_n &_o knowledge_n for_o it_o do_v also_o appear_v that_o thou_o be_v good_a for_o all_o thing_n and_o love_v learning_n shall_z that_o we_o shall_v be_v always_o together_o it_o be_v impossible_a see_v that_o to_o morrow_n we_o must_v part_v for_o pass_v away_o as_o the_o cloud_n and_o shadow_n do_v pass_v for_o indeed_o there_o be_v not_o any_o man_n that_o do_v glory_n in_o spiritual_a and_o heavenly_a pleasure_n and_o as_o for_o life_n
