sense_n but_o we_o never_o find_v any_o prophet_n priest_n or_o teacher_n in_o all_o the_o whole_a bible_n call_v kohele_v &_o doubtless_o if_o he_o have_v mean_v to_o call_v himself_o a_o â—reacher_n he_o will_v have_v say_v the_o word_n â—f_n kohel_n rather_o than_o kohele_v which_o be_v â—n_o the_o feminine_a gender_n kahal_n be_v a_o assembly_n &_o congregation_n of_o people_n or_o the_o whereby_o we_o may_v perceive_v that_o this_o name_n be_v a_o note_n for_o ever_o of_o his_o repentance_n how_o that_o he_o forsake_v the_o evil_a into_o which_o he_o have_v fall_v and_o turn_v again_o to_o the_o lord_n his_o god_n for_o the_o holy_a scripture_n do_v testify_v that_o solomon_n do_v marry_v outlandish_a woman_n which_o be_v idolater_n they_o draw_v away_o his_o
heart_n so_o that_o he_o sin_v and_o fall_v grievous_o he_o be_v reprove_v of_o god_n for_o it_o 11._o as_o we_o read_v 1._o king_n 11._o he_o make_v this_o book_n to_o remain_v as_o a_o public_a record_n of_o his_o return_n and_o therefore_o he_o be_v koheleth_n a_o person_n or_o a_o soul_n reconcile_v to_o god_n and_o to_o his_o church_n in_o this_o sense_n we_o may_v call_v he_o ecclesiastes_n i_o know_v it_o will_v be_v reply_v by_o some_o that_o the_o word_n of_o god_n do_v not_o any_o where_n testify_v that_o solomon_n ever_o repent_v after_o his_o great_a fall_n but_o leave_v it_o in_o doubt_n and_o to_o prove_v his_o repentance_n by_o this_o one_o title_n by_o which_o he_o do_v name_n himself_o be_v but_o a_o weak_a reason_n for_o let_v the_o signification_n of_o the_o name_n be_v certain_a yet_o be_v it_o uncertain_a whether_o he_o write_v this_o book_n after_o his_o fall_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v that_o he_o do_v write_v it_o after_o the_o long_a trial_n and_o experience_n which_o he_o have_v make_v in_o all_o thing_n under_o the_o sun_n and_o no_o doubt_n after_o his_o fall_n for_o touch_v his_o repentance_n although_o it_o be_v not_o say_v any_o where_o in_o these_o express_a word_n solomon_n repent_v yet_o may_v it_o be_v prove_v by_o necessary_a consequence_n out_o of_o the_o scripture_n that_o he_o do_v unfayned_o repent_v i_o reason_v cut_v of_o that_o he_o touch_v the_o other_o that_o be_v y_z e_z right_a course_n unto_o blessedness_n which_o be_v in_o the_o true_a worship_n and_o fear_n of_o god_n our_o misery_n be_v many_o and_o great_a we_o feel_v it_o so_o here_o be_v a_o wholesome_a medicine_n to_o ease_n and_o cure_v we_o if_o we_o take_v heed_n and_o apply_v it_o well_o there_o be_v none_o of_o we_o so_o dull_a but_o
