produce_v any_o particular_a determination_n of_o they_o in_o scripture_n for_o every_o particular_a church_n viz._n what_o time_n of_o the_o lord's-day_n their_o public_a worship_n shall_v begin_v what_o place_v they_o shall_v assemble_v in_o what_o translation_n of_o the_o bible_n they_o shall_v use_v whether_o they_o shall_v begin_v with_o prayer_n or_o praise_n or_o what_o vessel_n they_o there_o be_v two_o ordinance_n of_o positive_a worship_n prescribe_v in_o the_o new_a testament_n viz._n baptism_n and_o the_o lord's-supper_n there_o have_v be_v two_o name_n invent_v and_o frequent_o use_v among_o christian_a writer_n to_o signify_v the_o common_a nature_n of_o these_o two_o institution_n that_o of_o mystery_n in_o the_o greek_a church_n and_o that_o of_o sacrament_n in_o the_o latin_a a_o word_n probable_o borrow_a from_o the_o military_a oath_n which_o soldier_n take_v with_o certain_a rite_n appoint_v for_o that_o end_n and_o which_o be_v call_v the_o military_a sacrament_n but_o it_o be_v the_o thing_n itself_o we_o be_v concern_v to_o inquire_v into_o now_o if_o we_o can_v fix_v upon_o the_o true_a general_a notion_n wherein_o these_o two_o ordinance_n of_o baptism_n and_o the_o lord's-supper_n agree_v we_o may_v thence_o easy_o infer_v what_o a_o divine_a sacrament_n be_v for_o of_o that_o i_o be_o now_o speak_v and_o if_o we_o attentive_o consider_v this_o matter_n we_o may_v soon_o observe_v that_o those_o two_o ordinance_n of_o baptism_n and_o the_o lord_n supper_n agree_v in_o this_o that_o they_o be_v foederal_n rite_n
