instruct_v as_o moses_n this_o we_o find_v daily_o in_o ourselves_o that_o the_o forgetfulness_n of_o death_n make_v we_o to_o apply_v our_o heart_n unto_o folly_n &_o pleasure_n &_o all_o voluptuousness_n that_o contrary_a to_o his_o advice_n work_v your_o salvation_n we_o work_v our_o damnation_n we_o be_v so_o far_o from_o number_v our_o day_n that_o we_o do_v not_o number_v our_o week_n nor_o our_o month_n nor_o our_o year_n but_o as_o the_o apostle_n say_v 8._o a_o thousand_o year_n with_o god_n be_v as_o one_o day_n so_o one_o day_n with_o we_o be_v a_o thousand_o year_n be_v vain_a therefore_o he_o bring_v in_o three_o assertion_n 31._o as_o it_o be_v three_o witness_n to_o prove_v it_o all_o agree_v upon_o the_o same_o word_n but_o that_o the_o last_o be_v more_o plain_a and_o say_v that_o all_o be_v vanity_n that_o be_v that_o man_n be_v not_o only_o change_v and_o become_v vain_a but_o for_o the_o vanity_n of_o man_n 20_o as_o the_o apostle_n say_v the_o great_a vanity_n and_o yet_o a_o great_a and_o a_o great_a than_o that_o which_o be_v the_o great_a of_o all_o he_o call_v it_o vanity_n of_o vanity_n as_o when_o we_o will_v note_v a_o great_a fool_n we_o will_v say_v a_o fool_n of_o fool_n a_o sin_n of_o sin_n a_o servant_n of_o servant_n these_o be_v scornful_a name_n to_o the_o world_n and_o homely_a title_n to_o give_v our_o pleasure_n to_o call_v they_o vanity_n of_o vanity_n and_o again_o vanity_n of_o vanity_n and_o yet_o again_o vanity_n as_o though_o we_o will_v provoke_v they_o to_o fall_v out_o with_o we_o like_o a_o man_n which_o be_v like_o a_o den_n of_o thief_n therefore_o when_o solomon_n behold_v such_o apluralitie_n and_o totquot_n of_o vanity_n â—_o like_o surge_n come_v one_o upon_o another_o in_o pleate_v and_o in_o in_o deed_n be_v but_o a_o colour_n and_o a_o temptation_n the_o colour_n fade_v and_o the_o temptation_n snare_v but_o what_o say_v you_o to_o riches_n which_o make_v man_n lord_n over_o the_o rest_n and_o allow_v they_o to_o go_v brave_a and_o lie_v soft_a &_o fare_v dainty_o and_o have_v what_o they_o listen_v riches_n be_v like_o paint_a grape_n which_o look_v as_o though_o they_o will_v satisfy_v a_o man_n but_o do_v not_o slake_v his_o hunger_n nor_o quench_v his_o thirst_n riches_n in_o deed_n to_o make_v a_o man_n covet_v more_o and_o get_v envy_n and_o keep_v the_o mind_n in_o care_n but_o what_o say_v you_o to_o honour_n which_o set_v a_o man_n a_o loft_n and_o make_v the_o knee_n bow_n &_o the_o tongue_n sooth_n and_o the_o head_n stand_v bare_a as_o though_o they_o be_v other_o kind_n of_o creature_n above_o they_o honour_n be_v like_o a_o king_n in_o a_o play_n when_o his_o part_n be_v do_v his_o ornament_n be_v take_v from_o he_o and_o he_o which_o hold_v the_o
