of_o the_o night_n wherein_o i_o myself_o have_v do_v nothing_o but_o hearken_v let_v we_o agree_v upon_o some_o mean_a to_o pass_v the_o time_n with_o all_o after_o supper_n until_o bed_v time_n no_o declare_v the_o question_n and_o answer_n between_o the_o author_n the_o host_n and_o pierce_n ploughman_n 1_o the_o first_o question_n put_v by_o i_o whether_o it_o be_v more_o proper_a to_o virtue_n and_o godliness_n to_o give_v or_o to_o lend_v or_o to_o pay_v that_o a_o man_n owe_v pierce_v ploughman_n answer_v that_o of_o those_o three_o to_o give_v be_v the_o best_a to_o lend_v be_v the_o next_o &_o as_o for_o pay_v that_o which_o a_o man_n owe_v he_o héeld_v it_o a_o duty_n &_o in_o do_v of_o duty_n there_o stand_v no_o godliness_n neither_o lie_v there_o any_o thank_v therein_o &_o that_o he_o say_v appëer_v by_o christ_n his_o own_o word_n who_o say_v that_o when_o we_o have_v do_v that_o which_o be_v our_o duty_n we_o be_v unprofitable_a servant_n neither_o have_v pay_v of_o debt_n any_o express_a testimony_n of_o godliness_n or_o virtue_n in_o the_o scripture_n of_o god_n or_o by_o common_a experience_n among_o man_n whereas_o give_v have_v a_o name_n of_o virtue_n namely_o of_o liberality_n whereof_o the_o prophet_n david_n speak_v thus_o he_o have_v disperse_v and_o give_v unto_o the_o poor_a and_o his_o righteousness_n remain_v for_o ever_o again_o of_o lend_v he_o say_v the_o righteous_a be_v merciful_a and_o dare_v &_o will_v guide_v his_o word_n with_o discretion_n to_o be_v short_a liberality_n which_o extend_v both_o unto_o give_v &_o also_o lend_v be_v a_o property_n of_o god_n
