prejudices_fw-la and_o bring_v they_o again_o to_o the_o ordinance_n the_o heart_n be_v natural_o corrupt_a and_o corrupt_a doctrine_n be_v
it_o will_v have_v be_v clear_a but_o there_o be_v no_o matter_n before_o in_o his_o speech_n but_o the_o council_n instruction_n and_o a_o description_n of_o they_o now_o if_o these_o matter_n have_v distinct_a he_o shall_v be_v so_o very_o confuse_v be_v a_o very_a strange_a thing_n the_o more_o i_o examine_v the_o historian_n quibbling_n against_o these_o brethren_n word_n before_o the_o council_n i_o think_v the_o more_o of_o these_o brethren_n word_n and_o be_o confirm_v that_o the_o lord_n be_v with_o their_o mouth_n and_o give_v they_o what_o to_o speak_v and_o i_o be_o the_o more_o confirm_v in_o this_o by_o observe_v that_o this_o historian_n can_v not_o mend_v what_o they_o say_v without_o fall_v into_o a_o manifest_a falsehood_n and_o into_o a_o form_n of_o speech_n hear_v what_o he_o deny_v 1._o he_o deny_v that_o the_o people_n among_o who_o the_o indulge_v minister_n be_v settle_v be_v to_o own_o these_o minister_n as_o their_o minister_n their_o pastor_n or_o overseer_n set_v over_o they_o by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n 2._o he_o deny_v that_o it_o be_v lawful_a and_o expedient_a to_o hear_v they_o when_o there_o be_v other_o minister_n in_o scotland_n to_o be_v hear_v then_o he_o affirm_v that_o it_o be_v these_o people_n duty_n to_o withdraw_v from_o the_o indulge_v to_o hear_v and_o countenance_v other_o minister_n who_o be_v not_o indulge_v and_o of_o the_o council_n but_o contrary_a thereto_o but_o the_o indulge_v preach_v not_o contrary_a to_o the_o warrant_n and_o order_n of_o the_o council_n there_o be_v not_o such_o exception_n against_o be_v not_o so_o countenance_v etc._n etc._n though_o he_o do_v not_o express_o deny_v all_o to_o the_o indulge_v which_o he_o ascribe_v to_o the_o non-indulged_n and_o though_o he_o do_v not_o express_o ascribe_v to_o the_o non-indulged_n what_o he_o deny_v to_o the_o indulge_v yet_o see_v he_o be_v make_v a_o comparison_n to_o show_v the_o difference_n betwixt_o the_o indulge_v and_o not_o must_v keep_v it_o out_o of_o the_o other_o and_o upon_o the_o contrary_a what_o be_v want_v or_o naught_o in_o the_o one_o must_v be_v or_o be_v right_a in_o the_o other_o or_o else_o his_o comparison_n will_v not_o be_v fair_a and_o his_o weight_n and_o balance_n false_a thus_o we_o have_v the_o state_n of_o the_o question_n before_o we_o let_v we_o examine_v how_o it_o stand_v and_o if_o it_o be_v consistent_a with_o the_o historian_n tenet_n 1._o he_o grant_v the_o indulge_v minister_n to_o be_v minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n then_o his_o own_o mouth_n condemn_v he_o for_o if_o they_o be_v minister_n of_o the_o gospel_n they_o have_v not_o renounce_v their_o ministerial_a mission_n and_o their_o dependence_n upon_o christ_n and_o therefore_o the_o historian_n grant_v that_o the_o field_n and_o mountain_n in_o scotland_n have_v such_o virtue_n and_o have_v it_o not_o in_o any_o other_o part_n of_o the_o world_n that_o we_o hear_v of_o for_o in_o scotland_n according_a to_o this_o author_n opinion_n a_o minister_n who_o signify_v nothing_o in_o a_o kirk_n where_o the_o magistrate_n allow_v he_o the_o peaceable_a exercise_n of_o his_o ministry_n if_o he_o will_v take_v the_o field_n he_o shall_v not_o only_o be_v a_o man_n a_o minister_n in_o the_o field_n but_o cheerful_o hear_v and_o countenance_v and_o own_a not_o only_o of_o man_n but_o of_o the_o lord_n in_o a_o wonderful_a manner_n and_o the_o blessing_n which_o be_v withhold_v from_o the_o
