persecutor_n have_v to_o kill_v this_o mortal_a flesh_n yet_o they_o can_v hurt_v the_o soul_n if_o be_v assist_v by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n she_o be_v not_o overcome_v with_o their_o malice_n and_o consent_n to_o do_v evil._n there_o be_v this_o difference_n betwixt_o christ_n and_o our_o suffering_n that_o we_o depend_v not_o always_o on_o our_o own_o will_n it_o be_v necessary_a that_o we_o one_o day_n must_v die_v which_o be_v due_a to_o our_o sin_n be_v of_o necessity_n and_o justice_n but_o jesus_n christ_n do_v not_o suffer_v torment_n and_o death_n because_o he_o will_v and_o when_o he_o will_v and_o after_o that_o manner_n as_o it_o please_v he_o and_o be_v the_o same_o god_n with_o his_o eternal_a father_n he_o can_v not_o die_v and_o remain_v always_o equal_o in_o his_o glory_n second_o by_o his_o suffering_n and_o death_n he_o have_v merit_v and_o acquire_v to_o we_o life_n everlasting_a but_o by_o our_o suffering_n and_o death_n we_o can_v neither_o merit_v nor_o acquire_v it_o unless_o it_o be_v in_o he_o and_o by_o he_o and_o with_o he_o my_o god_n thou_o have_v protect_v i_o from_o the_o assembly_n of_o the_o malignant_a from_o the_o multitude_n of_o they_o as_o to_o draw_v no_o advantage_n or_o the_o least_o acknowledgement_n from_o they_o but_o even_o crucify_v he_o on_o a_o infamous_a cross_n whereon_o they_o even_o exult_v over_o he_o with_o and_o yet_o the_o prophet_n show_v most_o evident_o unto_o they_o what_o happen_v in_o his_o passion_n you_o know_v what_o be_v the_o assembly_n of_o the_o wicked_a jew_n and_o what_o the_o multitude_n of_o they_o that_o work_v iniquity_n but_o what_o be_v that_o iniquity_n it_o be_v that_o they_o will_v kill_v our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n i_o have_v show_v you_o say_v he_o so_o many_o good_a work_n and_o for_o which_o of_o they_o will_v you_o kill_v i_o he_o comfort_v the_o sick_a among_o they_o he_o cure_v their_o infirmity_n he_o preach_v unto_o they_o the_o kingdom_n of_o heaven_n he_o show_v they_o the_o enormity_n of_o their_o crime_n that_o they_o may_v hate_v they_o but_o not_o the_o doctor_n that_o cure_v they_o but_o in_o stead_n of_o acknowledge_v the_o good_a he_o do_v they_o by_o these_o wholesome_a remedy_n so_o great_a be_v their_o ingratitude_n that_o as_o if_o torment_v with_o a_o burn_a fever_n they_o be_v so_o transport_v against_o this_o charitable_a doctor_n who_o come_v only_o to_o cure_v they_o that_o they_o study_v how_o to_o destroy_v he_o as_o if_o thereby_o they_o will_v try_v whether_o he_o be_v true_a man_n and_o can_v die_v or_o whether_o he_o be_v any_o thing_n above_o man_n and_o will_v not_o permit_v his_o own_o death_n we_o find_v their_o discourse_n on_o this_o subject_a in_o the_o book_n of_o wisdom_n to_o a_o most_o shameful_a death_n say_v they_o let_v we_o condemn_v he_o for_o there_o shall_v be_v respect_n have_v unto_o he_o by_o his_o word_n for_o if_o he_o be_v the_o true_a son_n of_o god_n he_o
