the_o same_o down_o negative_o insomuch_o that_o this_o law_n be_v like_a to_o be_v destroy_v and_o never_o use_v more_o upon_o which_o ground_n and_o because_o of_o the_o great_a damage_n and_o difference_n which_o happen_v in_o the_o muhametan_a sect_n and_o to_o prevent_v the_o utter_a loss_n of_o the_o same_o a_o alkalife_n or_o king_n of_o the_o moor_n cause_v public_a proclamation_n to_o be_v make_v through_o all_o his_o dominion_n that_o all_o the_o learned_a man_n alfaquy_n and_o doctor_n shall_v repair_v to_o he_o to_o the_o city_n of_o damascus_n and_o shall_v bring_v with_o they_o all_o the_o book_n that_o can_v be_v find_v write_v of_o the_o suné_fw-fr and_o of_o muhamed_n word_n and_o work_n whereupon_o all_o the_o learned_a man_n then_o lieve_v among_o the_o moor_n from_o all_o part_n and_o each_o of_o they_o collect_v a_o book_n and_o entitle_v and_o call_v it_o by_o his_o proper_a name_n and_o they_o present_v they_o to_o the_o king_n or_o caliph_n who_o after_o the_o say_v six_o book_n have_v be_v view_v and_o examine_v by_o all_o the_o other_o doctor_n there_o assemble_v command_v that_o all_o the_o other_o book_n shall_v be_v cast_v into_o a_o great_a river_n near_o damascus_n call_v adegele_n whereupon_o have_v lade_v two_o hundred_o camel_n with_o the_o multitude_n of_o book_n which_o be_v bring_v thither_o they_o cast_v they_o into_o this_o river_n likewise_o the_o king_n give_v notice_n by_o a_o decree_n or_o public_a proclamation_n throughout_o all_o the_o country_n of_o the_o moor_n that_o no_o alfaquy_n shall_v dare_v to_o say_a book_n and_o that_o all_o moor_n and_o musselman_n or_o believer_n of_o muhamed_a shall_v receive_v these_o book_n for_o as_o true_a and_o authentic_a as_o if_o they_o be_v the_o very_a alcoran_n itself_o and_o that_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v less_o reverence_v among_o they_o than_o the_o alcoran_n itself_o all_o which_o the_o moor_n observe_v and_o have_v these_o book_n in_o as_o great_a reverence_n as_o the_o alcoran_n itself_o and_o the_o word_n thereof_o be_v among_o the_o moor_n of_o as_o much_o yea_o great_a authority_n than_o be_v the_o alcoran_n i_o have_v the_o more_o enlarge_v myself_o upon_o this_o point_n because_o that_o in_o some_o case_n they_o follow_v the_o say_n of_o muhamed_a and_o leave_v the_o say_n of_o the_o alcoran_n as_o of_o no_o effect_n which_o saying_n of_o muhamed_a be_v contain_v in_o the_o six_o book_n aforesaid_a so_o that_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o in_o their_o opinion_n be_v the_o alcoran_n be_v make_v void_a by_o muhameds_n say_n as_o be_v declare_v in_o the_o precede_a chapter_n and_o as_o shall_v further_o appear_v in_o the_o eleven_o chapter_n in_o this_o manner_n be_v muhamed_n sect_n restore_v and_o for_o this_o the_o moor_n hold_v and_o esteem_v the_o say_a caliph_n for_o a_o saint_n nevertheless_o i_o say_v that_o in_o most_o part_n of_o what_o these_o learned_a man_n gather_v and_o collect_v in_o those_o those_o four_o opinion_n muhameds_n sect_n have_v always_o
that_o one_o day_n a_o fair_a lady_n come_v to_o they_o and_o complain_v of_o her_o husband_n and_o be_v so_o acceptable_a unto_o they_o that_o they_o solicit_v her_o chastity_n she_o tell_v they_o that_o she_o be_v content_a to_o grant_v their_o desire_n upon_o condition_n that_o they_o will_v teach_v she_o their_o prayer_n whereby_o they_o ascend_v into_o heaven_n they_o through_o the_o great_a desire_n they_o have_v to_o enjoy_v her_o company_n teach_v she_o the_o prayer_n and_o when_o she_o have_v it_o perfect_a she_o present_o repeat_v it_o and_o ascend_v to_o heaven_n and_o the_o gloss_n say_v that_o when_o the_o angel_n will_v have_v ascend_v again_o to_o heaven_n they_o can_v not_o and_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o sin_n which_o they_o have_v commit_v they_o lose_v the_o grace_n of_o prayer_n and_o remain_v on_o earth_n then_o god_n denounce_v against_o they_o that_o they_o shall_v choose_v their_o punishment_n whether_o they_o will_v suffer_v it_o in_o this_o world_n or_o in_o the_o next_o and_o they_o choose_v it_o in_o this_o world_n and_o so_o for_o that_o sin_n they_o remain_v hang_v by_o the_o eyelid_n until_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n the_o text_n of_o the_o alcoran_n say_v that_o those_o two_o angel_n teach_v the_o man_n of_o that_o place_n the_o art_n of_o negromancy_n and_o divers_a of_o the_o moor_n say_v that_o this_o woman_n be_v translate_v into_o the_o star_n or_o light_n of_o the_o morning_n although_o it_o be_v not_o receive_v for_o authentic_a and_o approve_v of_o among_o the_o moor_n all_o this_o aforesaid_a i_o prove_v by_o the_o history_n in_o thy_o alcoran_n and_o thou_o will_v see_v whether_o there_o be_v any_o reason_n in_o it_o likewise_o behold_v thou_o moor_n who_o be_v a_o divine_a according_a to_o the_o moorish_a divinity_n which_o be_v call_v in_o arabic_a tenbid_a and_o thou_o will_v see_v whether_o it_o can_v be_v conceive_v by_o a_o moorish_a divine_a that_o the_o angel_n be_v ever_o judge_n on_o earth_n and_o whether_o they_o have_v ever_o know_v or_o can_v know_v woman_n but_o thou_o may_v say_v that_o they_o have_v ground_n to_o search_v this_o woman_n o_o moorish_a divine_a do_v thou_o not_o upon_o what_o be_v say_v in_o the_o nine_o chapter_n of_o the_o second_o book_n and_o the_o nineteenth_o chapter_n of_o the_o three_o book_n and_o niâ—the_a chapter_n of_o dominion_n or_o empire_n in_o the_o four_o book_n where_o he_o say_v that_o the_o star_n lie_v in_o the_o first_o heaven_n that_o god_n set_v they_o there_o for_o the_o beauty_n and_o ornament_n of_o the_o world_n and_o to_o they_o there_o for_o this_o purpose_n for_o you_o must_v know_v that_o when_o the_o devil_n ascend_v towards_o heaven_n immediate_o the_o star_n go_v and_o encounter_v they_o with_o fiery_a dart_n as_o it_o be_v in_o the_o nineteenth_o chapter_n of_o the_o three_o book_n the_o very_a word_n whereof_o be_v in_o arabic_a thus_o o_o gualacad_a zeynne_n etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o god_n set_v inspire_v since_o moses_n which_o book_n show_v the_o right_a way_n of_o truth_n wherefore_o come_v you_o and_o obey_v the_o prophet_n and_o believe_v in_o he_o and_o god_n will_v pardon_v your_o sin_n and_o deliver_v you_o from_o cruel_a torment_n and_o whosoever_o will_v not_o obey_v the_o prophet_n and_o believe_v in_o he_o shall_v not_o dwell_v long_o on_o earth_n and_o shall_v have_v great_a torment_n all_o this_o be_v in_o the_o arabic_a verbatim_o as_o in_o our_o tongue_n and_o you_o may_v read_v it_o in_o the_o alcoran_n in_o the_o two_o fore_n quote_v chapter_n which_o be_v god_n shall_v judge_v between_o they_o this_o muhamed_a say_v in_o the_o suné_fw-fr the_o word_n of_o the_o alcoran_n be_v thus_o in_o arabic_a oguame_fw-mi mindelbetin_n etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o all_o the_o beast_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o all_o the_o fowl_n of_o the_o air_n shall_v rise_v again_o in_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n and_o in_o the_o suné_n he_o say_v that_o god_n shall_v so_o do_v justice_n betwixt_o the_o creature_n that_o the_o beast_n that_o have_v be_v gore_v with_o ahorne_n shall_v have_v satisfaction_n from_o the_o beast_n that_o gore_v it_o likewise_o he_o say_v in_o the_o sunê_n that_o all_o the_o sheep_n which_o the_o moor_n kill_v in_o their_o feast_n or_o passover_n shall_v rise_v at_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n and_o pray_v for_o the_o moor_n who_o cause_v they_o to_o be_v slay_v and_o say_v further_a that_o when_o the_o angel_n st._n michael_n shall_v weigh_v the_o good_a and_o bad_a work_n of_o man_n these_o sheep_n shall_v come_v and_o lie_v in_o the_o balance_n of_o their_o good_a work_n so_o that_o the_o good_a work_n of_o such_o a_o man_n shall_v weigh_v more_o than_o his_o evil_a work_n and_o for_o this_o reason_n the_o moor_n kill_v many_o sheep_n in_o their_o feast_n or_o passover_n although_o they_o be_v not_o bind_v to_o kill_v above_o one_o now_o tell_v i_o o_o moor_n who_o be_v endow_v with_o reason_n and_o discretion_n what_o think_v thou_o of_o this_o aforesaid_a be_v it_o not_o a_o unreasonable_a thing_n and_o contrary_a to_o all_o divine_a and_o humane_a law_n yea_o against_o the_o very_a alcoran_n itself_o because_o in_o the_o second_o chapter_n of_o the_o second_o book_n of_o the_o alcoran_n he_o say_v these_o word_n in_o arabic_a oinne_n sarra_n etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o the_o worst_a dumb_a without_o reason_n and_o judgement_n and_o in_o regard_n they_o be_v without_o reason_n and_o judgement_n therefore_o they_o be_v not_o liable_a to_o punishment_n in_o this_o world_n for_o any_o hurt_n they_o do_v for_o these_o beast_n daily_o kill_v other_o beast_n and_o divers_a man_n but_o a_o beast_n be_v not_o to_o suffer_v for_o the_o death_n of_o another_o beast_n nor_o for_o the_o death_n of_o a_o man_n as_o we_o often_o see_v a_o bull_n bait_v kill_v two_o or_o three_o man_n without_o be_v punish_v for_o it_o because_o that_o as_o the_o alcoran_n say_v they_o be_v deaf_a without_o understanding_n and_o dumb_a without_o reason_n and_o judgement_n how_o be_v it_o then_o that_o the_o alcoran_n say_v here_o that_o beast_n shall_v rise_v to_o judgement_n if_o we_o say_v that_o beast_n shall_v rise_v to_o judgement_n at_o the_o last_o day_n we_o must_v also_o say_v that_o those_o beast_n which_o have_v do_v good_a work_n shall_v be_v reward_v and_o go_v into_o paradise_n and_o those_o which_o shall_v have_v do_v evil_a work_n shall_v be_v punish_v in_o hell_n the_o which_o muhamed_a say_v and_o affirm_v in_o the_o suné_fw-fr though_o the_o alcoran_n say_v it_o not_o and_o in_o the_o suné_fw-fr muhamed_a say_v that_o the_o sheep_n which_o the_o moor_n kill_v at_o their_o easter_n shall_v go_v into_o paradise_n he_o likewise_o say_v that_o the_o ram_n which_o abraham_n sacrifice_v instead_o of_o his_o son_n isaac_n be_v feed_v forty_o year_n in_o paradise_n the_o which_o the_o moorish_a alfaquy_n also_o say_v in_o their_o sermon_n at_o the_o the_o first_o beast_n that_o shall_v go_v into_o paradise_n whence_o it_o appear_v o_o moor_n according_a to_o what_o the_o suné_n affirm_v that_o beast_n shall_v go_v into_o paradise_n the_o which_o be_v contrary_a to_o truth_n and_o against_o reason_n one_o thing_n i_o will_v say_v o_o moor_n in_o this_o place_n concern_v the_o ram_n which_o abraham_n sacrifice_v which_o be_v feed_v and_o pasture_v forty_o year_n in_o paradise_n viz_o that_o thou_o shall_v give_v i_o a_o arithmetical_a account_n how_o many_o thousand_o trickle_v do_v that_o ram_n cast_v in_o paradise_n during_o those_o forty_o year_n the_o which_o you_o may_v find_v by_o the_o rule_n of_o multiplication_n what_o think_v thou_o now_o o_o moor_n of_o such_o and_o so_o great_a a_o foolery_n and_o a_o thing_n so_o worthy_a of_o laughter_n in_o brief_a all_o that_o the_o moor_n believe_v and_o hold_v be_v corporeal_a and_o terrene_a and_o not_o spiritual_a aswell_o in_o respect_n of_o this_o mundane_a life_n and_o conversation_n as_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o glory_n which_o we_o be_v to_o have_v in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v and_o in_o muhamed_n law_n or_o religion_n it_o be_v not_o sufficient_a to_o say_v that_o man_n eat_v and_o drink_v in_o paradise_n but_o he_o come_v to_o the_o impudence_n as_o to_o say_v that_o bruit_n beast_n go_v eat_v and_o drink_v in_o paradise_n and_o so_o i_o conclude_v that_o the_o law_n the_o prophet_n and_o scripture_n which_o treat_v and_o speak_v of_o such_o
command_v so_o to_o do_v and_o these_o ceremony_n be_v in_o arabic_a call_v menecique_a alhage_n they_o retayn_v likewise_o another_o ceremony_n viz._n when_o the_o pilgrim_n go_v to_o mecca_n and_o be_v pass_v a_o river_n call_v in_o arabic_a batni_n muhacil_n he_o command_v they_o to_o cast_v stone_n on_o the_o right_a hand_n at_o the_o top_n of_o a_o little_a hill_n which_o ceremony_n the_o idolater_n observe_v say_v that_o when_o abraham_n lead_v his_o son_n to_o be_v sacrifice_v the_o devil_n come_v to_o this_o place_n and_o tell_v ishmael_n that_o his_o father_n lead_v he_o away_o to_o be_v sacrifice_v and_o the_o book_n azar_n report_v that_o ishmael_n take_v up_o stone_n and_o fling_v they_o at_o the_o devil_n and_o in_o memorial_n hereof_o the_o idolatrous_a pilgrim_n use_v to_o cast_v stone_n concern_v which_o ceremony_n i_o will_v tell_v the_o o_o moor_n that_o although_o the_o idolater_n by_o command_n from_o caydar_n and_o his_o successor_n and_o in_o reverence_n of_o the_o say_a idol_n allethe_v aluza_n do_v observe_v they_o in_o honour_n and_o memorial_n whereof_o muhamed_a will_v have_v they_o keep_v and_o command_v all_o moor_n to_o observe_v they_o yet_o he_o have_v make_v a_o new_a religion_n or_o worship_n ought_v to_o have_v institute_v new_a ceremony_n and_o not_o old_a ceremony_n yea_o such_o as_o be_v ground_v upon_o idolatry_n and_o not_o upon_o reason_n so_o that_o it_o do_v evident_o appear_v that_o muhamed_a do_v not_o whole_o draw_v the_o moor_n from_o idolatry_n see_v he_o command_v the_o observation_n of_o so_o many_o ceremony_n which_o be_v the_o relic_n of_o idolatry_n now_o lest_o we_o deviate_v too_o far_o from_o the_o discourse_n begin_v where_o i_o say_v that_o muhamed_a transport_v merchandise_n until_o he_o be_v 38_o year_n old_a i_o will_v proceed_v to_o show_v that_o he_o than_o lest_o off_o trade_n and_o begin_v to_o lead_v a_o hermetical_a and_o solitary_a life_n and_o daily_o frequent_v a_o cave_n near_o unto_o mecca_n call_v in_o arabic_a garhera_n i_o e._n the_o cave_n of_o hera_n where_o he_o daily_o continue_v until_o evening_n but_o the_o moor_n know_v nothing_o of_o what_o he_o there_o do_v or_o speak_v only_o the_o book_n azar_n say_v that_o he_o worship_v the_o god_n of_o heaven_n and_o forbear_v worship_v the_o aforesaid_a idol_n the_o say_a book_n azar_n further_a relate_v that_o muhamed_a use_v so_o great_a abstinence_n in_o this_o cave_n that_o his_o bodily_a strength_n fail_v and_o head_n ache_v insomuch_o that_o his_o discourse_n falter_v and_o he_o talk_v idle_o and_o at_o last_o lose_v his_o sense_n and_o understanding_n the_o say_a book_n azar_n and_o another_o book_n entitle_v azifa_n say_v further_a that_o when_o muhamed_a be_v in_o the_o say_a grot_n he_o have_v many_o vision_n and_o hear_v other_o speak_v of_o he_o and_o discern_v the_o voice_n but_o not_o the_o person_n and_o continue_v so_o a_o long_a time_n plain_o hear_v a_o voice_n behind_o he_o but_o when_o he_o turn_v his_o face_n that_o way_n he_o can_v hear_v nothing_o all_o which_o muhame_v every_o night_n tell_v his_o wife_n gadisa_n but_o she_o tell_v he_o it_o be_v nothing_o but_o diabolical_a delusion_n and_o hereby_o he_o become_v distract_v and_o lose_v his_o sense_n and_o this_o fury_n and_o revishment_n of_o mind_n follow_v he_o so_o long_o that_o one_o day_n the_o say_a book_n say_v he_o resolve_v to_o go_v to_o the_o precipice_n of_o a_o mountain_n and_o desperate_o to_o cast_v himself_o headlong_o say_v that_o it_o be_v better_a to_o die_v than_o to_o be_v repute_v a_o fool_n and_o muhamed_a say_v that_o when_o he_o be_v in_o this_o resolution_n the_o angel_n gabriel_n come_v into_o the_o say_a cave_n in_o his_o own_o form_n with_o white_a wing_n and_o say_v to_o he_o rejoice_v o_o muhamed_a for_o god_n send_v thou_o much_o greeting_n and_o let_v thou_o know_v that_o thou_o shall_v be_v his_o prophet_n and_o messenger_n and_o the_o most_o perfect_a of_o all_o his_o creature_n which_o word_n in_o arabic_a be_v thus_o oya_n muhamed_a allah_o etc._n etc._n i._n e._n o_o muhamed_a god_n greet_v thou_o etc._n etc._n moreover_o the_o angel_n say_v to_o he_o o_o muhamed_a read_v and_o he_o answer_v and_o say_v what_o shall_v i_o read_v i_o can_v read_v &_o the_o angel_n reply_v to_o he_o thus_o as_o the_o arabic_a run_v oya_n muheme_v acra_fw-la bizmi_fw-la etc._n etc._n i._n e._n o_o muhamed_a read_v in_o the_o name_n of_o thy_o creator_n who_o create_v the_o worm_n man_n read_v in_o the_o name_n of_o thy_o most_o honour_a creator_n who_o with_o a_o pen_n show_v man_n what_o he_o never_o know_v before_o and_o this_o be_v the_o first_o chapter_n of_o the_o alcoran_n and_o so_o the_o angel_n vanish_v away_o and_o muhamed_a in_o the_o sixth_o book_n of_o the_o suné_fw-fr and_o namely_o in_o the_o book_n of_o flower_n say_v the_o word_n follow_v in_o arabic_a ofara_fw-it aytu_fw-la alme_n etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o the_o angel_n gabriel_n come_v sit_v in_o a_o golden_a throne_n between_o heaven_n and_o earth_n and_o tell_v he_o the_o prophecy_n and_o embassage_n and_o the_o book_n azar_n say_v that_o when_o the_o angel_n be_v go_v muhamed_a return_v home_o very_o joyful_a and_o that_o the_o beast_n and_o the_o tree_n greet_v he_o say_v absir_n ya_o muhamed_a ineque_fw-la etc._n etc._n i._n e._n rejoice_v o_o muhamed_a for_o thou_o shall_v be_v the_o messenger_n of_o god_n and_o most_o dear_a unto_o he_o it_o be_v night_n before_o he_o get_v home_o and_o call_v his_o wife_n gadisa_n he_o tell_v she_o all_o the_o mystery_n reveal_v by_o the_o angel_n and_o that_o he_o be_v a_o prophet_n and_o the_o messenger_n of_o god_n whereupon_o his_o wife_n answer_v he_o alas_o muhamed_a i_o fear_v it_o be_v nothing_o but_o the_o delusion_n of_o satan_n which_o answer_v much_o grieve_v and_o displease_v muhamed_a so_o that_o he_o be_v very_o pensive_a for_o a_o great_a while_n doubt_v whether_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n from_o god_n or_o a_o temptation_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o a_o great_a chillness_n and_o cold_a seize_v on_o he_o wherefore_o cast_v himself_o on_o a_o bed_n he_o command_v his_o servant_n to_o cover_v he_o well_o as_o they_o do_v and_o lay_v divers_a coverlid_n upon_o he_o and_o the_o say_a book_n azar_n relate_v that_o as_o muhamed_a lay_n thus_o the_o angel_n gabriel_n come_v to_o he_o with_o the_o second_o chapter_n of_o the_o alcoran_n which_o be_v in_o arabic_a thus_o oya_n aynhe_v at_o etc._n etc._n i._n e._n arise_v o_o thou_o that_o be_v cover_v exalt_v and_o magnify_v thy_o creator_n and_o cleanse_v thy_o garment_n and_o clothes_n and_o abhor_v idol_n after_o the_o angel_n have_v give_v he_o this_o chapter_n he_o vanish_v and_o muhamed_a call_v his_o wife_n gadisa_n read_v the_o chapter_n to_o she_o nevertheless_o she_o tell_v he_o that_o she_o do_v not_o believe_v it_o to_o be_v any_o thing_n but_o a_o phantasm_n and_o a_o temptation_n or_o delusion_n which_o be_v former_o wont_v to_o come_v upon_o he_o this_o displease_a muhamed_a very_o much_o and_o at_o midnight_n his_o wife_n tell_v he_o further_o that_o if_o the_o angel_n of_o god_n be_v his_o friend_n he_o will_v have_v come_v again_o ere_o this_o but_o because_o it_o be_v not_o from_o he_o therefore_o he_o come_v not_o neither_o will_v come_v again_o and_o hereupon_o muhamed_a lay_v all_o night_n much_o trouble_v at_o the_o angell_n absence_n then_o say_v azar_n at_o the_o dawn_n of_o the_o day_n the_o angel_n come_v with_o the_o three_o chapter_n say_v in_o arabic_a o_o guadoha_fw-mi gualleyli_fw-la etc._n etc._n i.e._n god_n swear_v to_o muhamed_a by_o the_o dawn_n which_o bring_v the_o day_n and_o by_o the_o night_n which_o give_v darkness_n that_o his_o creator_n have_v not_o forget_v he_o neither_o will_v he_o forget_v what_o he_o have_v promise_v he_o with_o which_o chapter_n muhame_v recover_v his_o strength_n and_o call_v his_o wife_n read_v this_o chapter_n to_o she_o but_o she_o tell_v he_o again_o that_o she_o will_v believe_v nothing_o till_o she_o see_v the_o angel_n with_o her_o own_o eye_n and_o muhamed_a tell_v she_o she_o can_v not_o see_v the_o angel_n afterward_o muhamed_a call_v one_o of_o his_o youth_n who_o he_o have_v bring_v up_o from_o a_o child_n who_o name_n be_v zeydin_n and_o tell_v he_o that_o if_o he_o will_v believe_v that_o he_o be_v a_o prophet_n and_o a_o messenger_n of_o god_n and_o will_v become_v a_o moor_n he_o will_v release_v he_o and_o make_v he_o a_o freeman_n and_o reveal_v all_o the_o secret_a of_o the_o angel_n gabriel_n to_o he_o hereupon_o the_o youth_n be_v content_a to_o believe_v muhamed_a and_o become_v moor_n &_o be_v the_o first_o moor_n that_o believe_v in_o muhamed_a then_o muhamed_a make_v a_o law_n and_o suné_n that_o whatsoever_o
ever_o die_v or_o have_v any_o hurt_n after_o this_o manner_n the_o alcoran_n and_o the_o suné_fw-fr describe_v the_o glory_n of_o the_o other_o world_n the_o say_a banquet_n shall_v be_v make_v in_o the_o paradise_n call_v genete_n alcoduz_n but_o muhamed_a will_v make_v another_o feast_n to_o all_o the_o moor_n at_o his_o say_a fountain_n call_v alcauzar_n and_o shall_v give_v they_o drink_v with_o his_o own_o hand_n as_o the_o suné_n say_v and_o in_o the_o book_n call_v in_o arabic_a quitebe_n alainiar_n i_o e._n the_o book_n of_o flower_n the_o word_n in_o arabic_a run_v thus_o aneguaquesin_n hale_v etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o muhume_v will_v be_v at_o his_o fountain_n and_o the_o moorish_a people_n shall_v pass_v by_o it_o and_o muhamed_a with_o his_o own_o hand_n shall_v give_v every_o one_o of_o they_o to_o drink_v of_o the_o water_n of_o that_o fountain_n and_o those_o that_o drink_v of_o this_o fonntaine_n he_o say_v shall_v never_o thirst_v in_o the_o say_a book_n of_o flower_n muhamed_a say_v that_o the_o water_n of_o this_o fountain_n be_v white_a than_o milk_n and_o sweet_a than_o honey_n and_o the_o bucket_n bowl_n and_o glass_n of_o this_o fountain_n be_v as_o many_o in_o number_n as_o the_o star_n of_o heaven_n now_o i_o will_v speak_v to_o thou_o o_o moor_n and_o say_v something_o upon_o this_o glory_n which_o you_o moores_n be_v to_o enjoy_v in_o the_o other_o world_n and_o although_o i_o be_o weary_a and_o trouble_v with_o write_v so_o many_o gullerye_n and_o thing_n against_o reason_n and_o all_o law_n nevertheless_o i_o will_v speak_v of_o two_o thing_n which_o i_o find_v want_v in_o your_o paradise_n and_o in_o all_o the_o glory_n aforesaid_a the_o first_o defect_n be_v that_o whereas_o the_o alcoran_n and_o the_o suné_n hold_v forth_o such_o and_o so_o great_a paradise_n so_o stately_a build_v and_o so_o rich_o adorn_v they_o make_v no_o mention_n of_o easement_n and_o that_o they_o be_v also_o magnificent_o build_v especial_o have_v speak_v of_o so_o much_o eat_v and_o of_o so_o much_o drink_v viz._n of_o honey_n milk_n claret_n and_o hippocras_n the_o second_o defect_n be_v that_o he_o make_v no_o mention_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o woman_n for_o whereas_o the_o alcoran_n and_o the_o suné_n have_v promise_v that_o the_o man_n shall_v have_v chaste_a virgin_n with_o who_o they_o shall_v sport_v and_o take_v their_o pleasure_n as_o aforesaid_a they_o ought_v in_o like_a manner_n to_o have_v mention_v the_o woman_n and_o to_o have_v give_v they_o eternal_a servant_n to_o have_v take_v their_o pleasure_n with_o they_o and_o then_o the_o woman_n will_v also_o have_v have_v eternal_a glory_n but_o tell_v i_o o_o moor_n what_o will_v the_o woman_n who_o shall_v be_v at_o this_o feast_n say_v and_o do_v when_o they_o shall_v see_v themselves_o comfortless_a and_o when_o they_o shall_v see_v their_o husband_n which_o they_o have_v in_o this_o world_n sport_v with_o and_o embrace_v their_o virgin_n the_o space_n of_o 50_o year_n which_o he_o say_v they_o shall_v remain_v embrace_v sport_v and_o take_v their_o pleasure_n therefore_o o_o moor_n i_o say_v that_o the_o woman_n glory_n will_v be_v turn_v into_o punishment_n and_o sorrow_n especial_o when_o each_o of_o the_o man_n shall_v take_v his_o virgin_n and_o shall_v go_v away_o with_o she_o to_o his_o mansion_n or_o fortress_n and_o the_o woman_n shall_v be_v leave_v alone_o and_o comfortless_o like_o widow_n so_o that_o o_o moor_n consider_v all_o this_o above_o thou_o may_v conclude_v that_o this_o be_v not_o a_o thing_n of_o god_n nor_o of_o a_o prophet_n and_o messenger_n send_v from_o god_n and_o thou_o will_v know_v that_o it_o be_v all_o as_o solomon_n say_v vanity_n of_o vanity_n and_o all_o vanity_n and_o here_o i_o will_v conclude_v this_o nine_o chapter_n chap._n x._o the_o ten_o chapter_n show_v how_o the_o alcoran_n contradict_v itself_o in_o divers_a place_n and_o trcate_v of_o divers_a thing_n in_o the_o alcoran_n which_o be_v unseemly_a and_o superfluous_a likewise_o of_o some_o miracle_n which_o muhamed_a say_v he_o do_v although_o they_o rather_o resemble_v gull_n than_o miracle_n the_o alcoran_n in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o book_n in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o the_o second_o book_n and_o in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o the_o four_o book_n say_v that_o god_n curse_v the_o devil_n and_o expel_v he_o from_o the_o glory_n of_o paradise_n and_o cast_v he_o into_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n for_o ever_o likewise_o in_o the_o aforequoted_a chapter_n it_o say_v that_o the_o devil_n tell_v god_n that_o he_o will_v always_o be_v man_n mortal_a enemy_n and_o will_v always_o tempt_v man_n and_o torment_v they_o furthermore_o the_o alcoran_n in_o divers_a place_n admonish_v man_n say_v that_o the_o devil_n be_v man_n apparent_a enemy_n all_o which_o be_v notorious_a and_o manifest_a in_o the_o alcoran_n and_o after_o all_o this_o the_o alcoran_n say_v that_o the_o devil_n shall_v hear_v the_o alcoran_n and_o shall_v become_v the_o friend_n of_o muhamed_a of_o man_n and_o of_o god_n and_o that_o god_n will_v pardon_v their_o sin_n and_o promise_v they_o the_o glory_n of_o heaven_n as_o appear_v by_o the_o chapter_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o of_o caf_n and_o of_o the_o glorious_a in_o the_o four_o book_n furthermore_o the_o alcoran_n contradict_v itself_o when_o he_o say_v in_o the_o first_o chapter_n of_o the_o first_o book_n that_o it_o be_v give_v in_o the_o month_n of_o ramadan_n and_o in_o the_o chapter_n of_o smoke_n and_o in_o the_o chapter_n of_o the_o holy_a night_n in_o the_o four_o book_n he_o say_v that_o the_o alcocan_n be_v give_v in_o one_o night_n both_o which_o the_o course_n of_o above_o musselman_n say_v for_o he_o that_o bring_v the_o testimony_n of_o two_o for_o proof_n of_o his_o own_o cause_n do_v yield_v that_o those_o witness_n be_v good_a and_o true_a not_o bad_a and_o reprochable_a because_o if_o they_o be_v reprochable_a and_o of_o ill_a fame_n they_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o be_v receive_v for_o witness_n now_o if_o god_n bid_v muhamed_a to_o inquire_v of_o the_o jew_n and_o christian_n for_o his_o own_o information_n and_o satisfy_v himself_o from_o their_o two_o scripture_n you_o must_v conclude_v o_o moor_n that_o those_o scripture_n at_o the_o time_n of_o such_o inquiry_n be_v good_a and_o true_a as_o still_o they_o be_v and_o will_v always_o be_v and_o for_o this_o reason_n o_o moor_n thou_o must_v be_v silent_a and_o acknowledge_v that_o the_o alcoran_n contradict_v itself_o in_o divers_a place_n and_o so_o i_o will_v conclude_v this_o point_n concern_v the_o superfluous_a and_o immodest_a thing_n which_o muhamed_a have_v insert_v in_o comparison_n thou_o will_v see_v what_o difference_n there_o be_v between_o muhamed_a and_o our_o redeemer_n jesus_n christ_n and_o the_o scripture_n of_o either_o and_o so_o thou_o will_v come_v to_o that_o as_o muhamed_a be_v ride_v on_o his_o way_n he_o hear_v the_o voice_n of_o a_o woman_n who_o cry_v after_o he_o o_o muhamed_a muhamed_a and_o the_o angel_n say_v to_o he_o o_o muhamed_a do_v sublimity_n and_o height_n and_o through_o so_o much_o rain_n and_o snow_n that_o he_o become_v so_o weary_v and_o tire_v that_o he_o can_v go_v no_o far_o and_o at_o that_o instant_n muhamed_a hear_v a_o voice_n say_v in_o arabic_a thus_o oya_n muhamed_a anden_fw-mi gualirabach_fw-mi cellem_fw-la i._n e._n o_o muhamed_a approach_n and_o salute_v thy_o creator_n whereupon_o muhamed_a draw_v near_o to_o the_o voice_n and_o see_v so_o great_a a_o light_n that_o it_o trouble_v his_o sight_n he_o say_v that_o god_n have_v on_o his_o glorious_a face_n seventy_o thousand_o veil_n of_o divine_a light_n and_o the_o text_n of_o the_o alcoran_n in_o the_o three_o book_n say_v that_o muhamed_a approach_v god_n within_o two_o bowe-shot_n or_o little_o less_o in_o arabic_a it_n be_v thus_o o_o zumen_fw-la etc._n etc._n i._n e._n that_o muhamed_a approach_v god_n within_o little_a less_o than_o two_o shot_n of_o a_o cross-bow_n muhamed_a say_v further_o that_o so_o great_a a_o light_n for_o a_o shadow_n unto_o muhamed_a but_o he_o can_v not_o endure_v it_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o great_a cold_a which_o proceed_v from_o it_o he_o say_v that_o in_o this_o place_n god_n speak_v to_o he_o and_o give_v he_o divers_a commandment_n of_o the_o law_n and_o tell_v he_o many_o secret_n and_o you_o must_v know_v that_o if_o i_o shall_v write_v all_o the_o thing_n which_o muhamed_a say_v he_o see_v that_o night_n a_o ream_n of_o paper_n will_v not_o contain_v they_o muhamed_a say_v as_o the_o book_n azar_n report_v that_o this_o night_n god_n grant_v five_o thing_n unto_o he_o which_o be_v never_o give_v to_o any_o man_n before_o nor_o since_o the_o first_o be_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v the_o chief_a and_o most_o elect_a creature_n that_o god_n ever_o create_v either_o in_o heaven_n or_o on_o earth_n which_o the_o arabic_a call_v hayriall_a quilleh_n the_o second_o be_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v the_o most_o excellent_a and_o most_o honourable_a lord_n of_o all_o the_o
