sea_n next_o to_o the_o town_n of_o laystaft_n in_o suffolk_n rob_v divers_a of_o the_o queen_n subject_n and_o spoil_v they_o of_o their_o good_n which_o good_n they_o bring_v into_o norfolk_n and_o there_o they_o be_v apprehend_v and_o there_o bring_v before_o i_o than_o a_o justice_n of_o the_o peace_n within_o the_o same_o county_n who_o i_o examine_v and_o in_o the_o end_n they_o confess_v a_o cruel_a and_o barbarous_a piracy_n and_o that_o those_o good_n which_o then_o they_o have_v with_o they_o be_v part_n of_o the_o good_n which_o they_o have_v rob_v from_o the_o queen_n subject_n be_v felony_n the_o book_n of_o 40_o assis_n 25._o by_o schard_v where_o a_o master_n or_o captain_n of_o a_o ship_n together_o with_o some_o englishman_n rob_v the_o king_n suject_n upon_o the_o high_a sea_n where_o he_o say_v that_o it_o be_v felony_n in_o the_o norman_a captain_n and_o treason_n in_o the_o englishman_n his_o companion_n and_o the_o reason_n of_o the_o say_a case_n be_v because_o the_o norman_n be_v not_o then_o under_o the_o obedience_n and_o allegiance_n of_o the_o king_n of_o england_n for_o king_n john_n lose_v normandy_n and_o for_o that_o cause_n piracy_n be_v but_o felony_n in_o the_o norman_a but_o in_o the_o english_a who_o be_v under_o the_o obedience_n and_o allegiance_n of_o the_o king_n of_o england_n the_o same_o be_v adjudge_v treason_n which_o be_v to_o be_v understand_v of_o pettit_n treason_n which_o be_v high_a treason_n before_o and_o therefore_o in_o that_o case_n the_o pirate_n be_v apprehend_v the_o norman_a captain_n be_v hang_v and_o the_o english_a man_n be_v hang_v and_o draw_v as_o appear_v by_o the_o same_o book_n see_v stamford_n 10._o and_o some_o object_v and_o be_v of_o opinion_n that_o treason_n do_v out_o of_o the_o realm_n may_v have_v be_v determine_v by_o the_o common_a law_n but_o true_o the_o same_o can_v not_o be_v punishable_a but_o only_o by_o the_o civil_a law_n before_o the_o admiral_n or_o by_o
