let_v free_a or_o they_o be_v covenant_v sign_n between_o we_o and_o god_n in_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n to_o work_v grace_n on_o we_o as_o moral_a cause_n and_o to_o engage_v we_o sacramental_o to_o he_o such_o we_o conceive_v the_o cross_n in_o baptism_n to_o be_v the_o preface_n to_o the_o common_a prayer-book_n say_v they_o be_v apt_a to_o teach_v and_o excite_v etc._n etc._n which_o be_v 1._o decent_a circumstance_n be_v necessary_a in_o genere_fw-la there_o must_v be_v some_o fit_a time_n place_n gesture_n vesture_n as_o such_o utensil_n etc._n etc._n but_o that_o there_o be_v some_o such_o dedicate_a engage_v sign_n in_o our_o covenant_n with_o god_n signify_v the_o grace_n of_o the_o covenant_n and_o our_o state_n and_o duty_n as_o soldier_n under_o christ_n beside_o god_n sacrament_n this_o be_v not_o necessary_a in_o genere_fw-la and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o leave_v to_o man_n to_o determine_v de_fw-fr specie_fw-la 2._o if_o there_o be_v any_o reason_n for_o disobedience_n to_o such_o command_n of_o euperiours_n be_v plain_o a_o violation_n of_o his_o royalty_n as_o it_o be_v no_o violation_n of_o the_o king_n authority_n when_o his_o magistrate_n command_v thing_n according_a to_o his_o law_n but_o disobedience_n to_o the_o command_n of_o those_o injunction_n of_o his_o deputy_n be_v violation_n of_o his_o authority_n again_o it_o can_v be_v no_o impeachment_n of_o christ_n law_n as_o insufficient_a to_o make_v such_o law_n for_o decency_n since_o our_o saviour_n as_o be_v evident_a by_o the_o precept_n themselves_o do_v not_o intend_v by_o they_o to_o determine_v every_o minute_n and_o circumstance_n of_o time_n place_n manner_n of_o performance_n and_o the_o like_a but_o only_o to_o command_v in_o general_a the_o substance_n of_o those_o duty_n and_o the_o right_a end_n that_o shall_v be_v aim_v at_o in_o the_o performance_n and_o then_o leave_v every_o man_n in_o particular_a who_o for_o that_o purpose_n he_o make_v reasonable_a to_o guide_v himself_o by_o rule_n of_o reason_n for_o private_a service_n and_o appoint_a governor_n of_o the_o church_n to_o determine_v such_o particularity_n for_o the_o public_a thus_o our_o lord_n command_v prayer_n fast_v etc._n etc._n for_o the_o time_n and_o place_n of_o performance_n he_o do_v not_o determine_v every_o of_o they_o but_o
