many_o form_n on_o other_o when_o our_o great_a master_n impose_v but_o one_o and_o such_o a_o one_o as_o he_o borrow_a the_o very_a sentence_n of_o from_o the_o form_n then_o public_o use_v so_o that_o these_o gentleman_n shall_v if_o they_o will_v be_v consistent_a with_o themselves_o plead_v for_o lay_v aside_o our_o liturgy_n and_o use_v that_o old_a one_o which_o dr._n lightfoot_n have_v so_o happy_o retrieve_v for_o we_o out_o of_o the_o jewish_a rabbin_n i_o will_v therefore_o advise_v they_o to_o use_v this_o argument_n from_o the_o practice_n of_o the_o jewish_a church_n in_o or_o be_v it_o whether_o our_o saviour_n have_v prescribe_v a_o stint_a liturgy_n to_o the_o christian_a church_n in_o their_o public_a administration_n or_o whether_o he_o have_v commission_v ordinary_a pastor_n to_o prescribe_v and_o impose_v such_o a_o liturgy_n and_o confine_v other_o to_o the_o use_n of_o it_o or_o whether_o he_o in_o general_n enjoin_v we_o to_o pray_v only_o by_o a_o form_n or_o not_o ordinary_o without_o one_o if_o he_o mean_v the_o first_o whether_o a_o form_n of_o prayer_n be_v lawful_a that_o be_v no_o matter_n of_o dispute_n at_o all_o between_o the_o dissenter_n and_o the_o establish_v church_n for_o as_o i_o shall_v show_v he_o anon_o there_o be_v never_o a_o meeting_n in_o which_o they_o do_v not_o use_v one_o and_o there_o be_v many_o in_o see_v they_o present_v by_o so_o unhallowed_a hand_n or_o that_o they_o run_v without_o restraint_n into_o all_o excess_n of_o riot_n when_o they_o do_v but_o herein_o follow_v their_o spiritual_a guide_n it_o be_v great_a pity_n therefore_o that_o the_o 42d_o canon_n which_o threaten_v such_o scandalous_a clergyman_n with_o ecclesiastical_a censure_n be_v not_o more_o faithful_o execute_v and_o it_o seem_v unaccountable_a why_o it_o shall_v not_o as_o express_o order_v the_o suspension_n and_o deposition_n of_o such_o as_o be_v find_v incorrigible_a as_o other_o canon_n of_o the_o no_o gift_n for_o compose_v psalm_n in_o verse_n in_o opposition_n to_o the_o heathen_n who_o write_v their_o prophecy_n and_o hymn_n in_o verse_n be_v a_o mere_a invention_n of_o his_o own_o for_o as_o there_o be_v so_o clear_a proof_n that_o some_o of_o the_o psalm_n be_v inspire_v in_o verse_n and_o so_o great_a probability_n the_o rest_n be_v so_o many_o judicious_a expositor_n do_v conclude_v the_o quite_o contrary_a from_o 1_o cor._n 14.26_o where_o psalmestry_n seem_v to_o be_v intend_v as_o one_o of_o those_o extraordinary_a gift_n and_o it_o be_v far_o more_o probable_a that_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n by_o enjoin_v the_o sing_n of_o psalm_n hymn_n and_o spiritual_a song_n do_v intend_v to_o rescue_v so_o noble_a a_o thing_n as_o poetry_n from_o its_o wretched_a
