with_o which_o they_o abound_v but_o our_o book_n abund_n with_o good_a if_o not_o free_a from_o some_o default_n the_o denomination_n then_o be_v to_o be_v take_v from_o the_o great_a part_n our_o book_n and_o so_o the_o apochrypha_n which_o here_o they_o also_o gird_v at_o be_v to_o be_v call_v good_a and_o the_o other_o two_o evil_n four_o it_o be_v better_a to_o amend_v then_o to_o cashier_v the_o ignorant_a only_o set_v form_n of_o prayer_n in_o private_a to_o which_o if_o by_o these_o set_a form_n they_o mean_v set_v prayer_n make_v by_o other_o we_o be_v willing_a with_o they_o to_o allow_v they_o only_o to_o such_o as_o can_v make_v better_a themselves_o but_o in_o general_a to_o use_v set_v form_n for_o the_o very_o best_a of_o man_n be_v not_o only_o lawful_a but_o very_o good_a and_o most_o careful_o to_o be_v do_v that_o we_o may_v observe_v that_o of_o the_o wise_a of_o man_n eccles_n 5._o 1._o for_o the_o second_o a_o set_a liturgy_n they_o say_v they_o allow_v in_o general_a but_o come_v to_o the_o particular_a use_n of_o any_o particular_a liturgy_n they_o flee_v off_o again_o and_o will_v have_v their_o set_a liturgy_n only_o a_o pattern_n for_o a_o
piety_n let_v they_o take_v heed_n that_o the_o want_n of_o these_o four_o which_o they_o abundant_o discover_v in_o their_o book_n do_v not_o out_o of_o their_o own_o mouth_n condemn_v the_o pretend_a purity_n of_o their_o religion_n for_o more_o than_o ordinary_a defect_n in_o these_o shall_v this_o answer_v abundant_o show_v in_o their_o book_n but_o they_o will_v not_o be_v large_a as_o they_o say_v here_o in_o this_o theme_n no_o more_o will_v i_o but_o i_o hasten_v with_o they_o to_o the_o particular_a â—â—tter_n viz._n the_o common_a prayer_n book_n the_o principal_a subject_n of_o their_o discourse_n but_o in_o which_o they_o aim_v and_o strike_v at_o the_o bishop_n â—s_v they_o present_o confess_v upon_o this_o supposal_n that_o one_o of_o these_o two_o can_v stand_v without_o the_o other_o for_o so_o they_o tell_v we_o say_v as_o it_o be_v true_a that_o no_o ceremony_n no_o bishop_n so_o it_o be_v as_o true_a that_o no_o service-book_n no_o ceremony_n this_o they_o do_v very_o well_o bring_v in_o with_o this_o as_o and_o so_o for_o one_o of_o these_o be_v just_a as_o true_a as_o the_o other_o there_o be_v no_o truth_n at_o all_o in_o the_o one_o or_o the_o other_o for_o the_o bishop_n may_v still_o have_v their_o authority_n dignity_n and_o estate_n which_o they_o now_o have_v though_o all_o the_o ceremony_n we_o have_v be_v abolish_v and_o we_o may_v also_o have_v more_o ceremony_n than_o now_o we_o have_v though_o we_o have_v another_o common_a prayer_n book_n or_o none_o at_o all_o which_o be_v too_o clear_a to_o have_v any_o place_n leave_v for_o proof_n the_o next_o page_n of_o this_o chapter_n be_v a_o inveigh_v against_o superstition_n in_o general_a concern_v which_o i_o will_v meddle_v no_o more_o with_o they_o than_o they_o not_o a_o mass_n of_o superstition_n etc._n etc._n i_o grant_v all_o and_o for_o their_o information_n will_v tell_v they_o a_o little_a that_o it_o be_v superstition_n to_o make_v that_o a_o matter_n of_o conscience_n which_o they_o need_v not_o or_o to_o make_v that_o a_o part_n of_o god_n worship_n and_o service_n which_o be_v not_o simple_o so_o but_o a_o thing_n of_o itself_o indifferent_a whether_o then_o it_o be_v superstition_n to_o use_v our_o book_n and_o ceremony_n because_o command_v or_o to_o reject_v they_o upon_o a_o pretence_n of_o their_o being_n not_o indifferent_a but_o simple_o unlawful_a when_o god_n have_v not_o forbid_v they_o and_o the_o church_n have_v command_v they_o let_v reason_n judge_v but_o to_o proceed_v with_o they_o they_o endeavour_v to_o prove_v the_o common_a prayer_n to_o be_v superstitious_a because_o it_o appoint_v kneel_v at_o the_o communion_n thus_o the_o grand_a ceremony_n of_o adoration_n or_o kneel_v at_o the_o communion_n have_v it_o not_o be_v the_o staff_n and_o strength_n of_o that_o abominable_a idol_n the_o breaden_a god_n in_o which_o word_n with_o the_o rest_n there_o follow_v they_o charge_v we_o in_o kneel_v to_o
