knowledge_n the_o testimony_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v sure_a say_v david_n psalm_n 19.7_o make_v wise_a the_o simple_a and_o who_o mean_v the_o holy_a ghost_n by_o these_o simple_a one_o sure_o not_o so_o much_o such_o as_o want_v understanding_n as_o such_o as_o do_v discern_v and_o feel_v their_o own_o ignorance_n and_o want_v of_o understanding_n in_o heavenly_a thing_n let_v no_o man_n then_o that_o be_v in_o this_o case_n be_v discourage_v or_o despair_v of_o attain_v unto_o knowledge_n nay_o let_v he_o comfort_v himself_o in_o this_o that_o though_o it_o come_v from_o the_o corruption_n of_o his_o nature_n that_o he_o be_v so_o ignorant_a yet_o the_o sight_n and_o sense_n of_o his_o ignorance_n come_v from_o grace_n and_o not_o from_o corruption_n and_o make_v he_o more_o apt_a to_o be_v teach_v of_o god_n than_o another_o man_n be_v on_o the_o other_o side_n the_o conceit_n that_o most_o man_n have_v that_o they_o have_v knowledge_n enough_o be_v a_o main_a hindrance_n of_o i_o be_o to_o speak_v of_o be_v such_o as_o enjoy_n and_o frequent_v also_o the_o mean_n can_v obtain_v no_o grace_n by_o they_o no_o save_a knowledge_n no_o faith_n no_o change_n of_o heart_n at_o all_o but_o become_v the_o worse_a by_o they_o rather_o and_o yet_o be_v never_o trouble_v nor_o grieve_v for_o it_o the_o second_o caution_n that_o i_o tell_v you_o i_o must_v premise_v to_o prevent_v the_o mistake_n of_o that_o i_o have_v to_o say_v 2_o be_v this_o that_o even_o of_o these_o that_o i_o have_v long_o enjoy_v the_o mean_n and_o be_v never_o the_o better_a for_o they_o but_o the_o worse_a rather_o i_o dare_v not_o say_v they_o be_v reprobate_n i_o dare_v not_o conclude_v from_o hence_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v damn_v none_o of_o we_o be_v able_a to_o say_v unto_o the_o worst_a man_n that_o hear_v we_o as_o that_o prophet_n by_o immediate_a revelation_n be_v able_a to_o say_v unto_o amaziah_n the_o king_n 2_o chron._n 25.6_o i_o know_v that_o god_n have_v
