in_o the_o church_n and_o every_o member_n of_o it_o if_o jesus_n christ_n be_v raise_v up_o from_o the_o dead_a then_o must_v the_o church_n be_v raise_v up_o with_o he_o from_o the_o death_n of_o sin_n and_o therefore_o the_o apostle_n reason_n from_o the_o one_o to_o the_o other_o negative_o and_o affirmative_o if_o there_o be_v no_o resurrection_n from_o the_o dead_a then_o be_v christ_n not_o raise_v 1_o cor._n 15.13_o and_o verse_n 15._o if_o god_n raise_v not_o up_o christ_n than_o the_o dead_a be_v not_o raise_v god_n have_v raise_v up_o the_o lord_n jesus_n and_o will_v also_o so_o be_v there_o also_o a_o renew_n or_o renovation_n in_o the_o mortal_a body_n of_o those_o who_o be_v raise_v up_o with_o christ_n and_o renew_v in_o the_o spirit_n of_o their_o mind_n for_o as_o the_o body_n partake_v of_o the_o punishment_n for_o iniquity_n as_o the_o prophet_n complain_v there_o be_v no_o soundness_n in_o my_o flesh_n by_o reason_n of_o my_o sin_n psal_n 38.7_o so_o both_o cry_v out_o for_o help_v unto_o god_n psal_n 16.9_o my_o heart_n be_v glad_a and_o my_o glory_n rejoice_v my_o flesh_n also_o shall_v rest_v in_o hope_n obs_n 3._o note_v hence_o we_o be_v by_o corruption_n of_o nature_n become_v dead_a in_o trespass_n and_o sin_n ephes_n 2._o example_n whereof_o we_o have_v of_o the_o wanton_a widow_n and_o the_o prodigal_a son_n as_o well_o as_o our_o own_o experience_n wherefore_o to_o be_v raise_v with_o christ_n be_v to_o be_v change_v from_o the_o spiritual_a death_n in_o sin_n to_o the_o righteous_a and_o holy_a life_n wherein_o we_o have_v great_a reason_n to_o admire_v the_o unspeakable_a love_n and_o mercy_n of_o our_o god_n col._n 3._o this_o take_v away_o all_o excuse_n man_n be_v wont_a to_o use_v when_o in_o defence_n of_o themselves_o yet_o lie_v in_o their_o fall_n and_o live_v in_o their_o sin_n they_o say_v they_o have_v mortal_a body_n body_n of_o clay_n and_o how_o can_v these_o be_v quicken_v to_o the_o life_n of_o righteousness_n do_v the_o apostle_n think_v we_o suppose_v we_o have_v immortal_a body_n when_o he_o exhort_v rom._n 6.19_o i_o speak_v say_v he_o after_o the_o manner_n of_o man_n because_o of_o the_o infirmity_n of_o your_o flesh_n as_o you_o have_v yield_v your_o member_n servant_n to_o uncleanness_n and_o to_o iniquity_n unto_o iniquity_n eve●_n so_o now_o
