to_o such_o tenant_n xxxii_o like_a fee_n shall_v be_v pay_v for_o commission_n and_o dedimus_fw-la potestatem_fw-la under_o the_o duchy_n seal_n as_o be_v pay_v for_o they_o obtain_v under_o the_o great_a seal_n xxxiii_o a_o commission_n of_o sewer_n shall_v endure_v five_o year_n unless_o
be_v try_v by_o trier_n to_o be_v hereafter_o appoint_v by_o this_o act._n xlix_o there_o shall_v be_v appoint_v six_o trier_n of_o insufficient_a leather_n and_o leather-ware_n which_o shall_v be_v seize_v within_o the_o say_a jurisdiction_n of_o london_n and_o when_o any_o such_o leather_n or_o ware_n be_v seize_v within_o any_o other_o jurisdiction_n the_o chief_a officer_n or_o lord_n of_o the_o liberty_n or_o his_o deputy_n shall_v cause_v trial_n thereof_o to_o be_v make_v by_o the_o oath_n of_o six_o honest_a man_n upon_o some_o market-day_n and_o within_o fifteen_o day_n after_o such_o seizure_n make_v l._n the_o lord_n mayor_n of_o london_n and_o the_o head_n officer_n and_o lord_n or_o deputy_n aforesaid_a shall_v appoint_v trier_n in_o their_o several_a jurisdiction_n in_o pain_n of_o 5_o l._n to_o be_v divide_v betwixt_o the_o king_n and_o the_o prosecutor_n and_o these_o trier_n shall_v do_v their_o duty_n in_o that_o office_n without_o delay_n in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v for_o every_o default_n 5_o l._n li._n four_o of_o the_o trier_n in_o london_n shall_v be_v yearly_o change_v and_o other_o four_o place_v in_o their_o room_n and_o none_o shall_v continue_v in_o that_o office_n there_o above_o two_o year_n and_o if_o any_o happen_v to_o be_v trier_n two_o year_n together_o he_o shall_v not_o be_v choose_v again_o within_o three_o year_n after_o in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v for_o every_o month_n he_o continue_v otherwise_o in_o that_o office_n 10_o l._n lii_o no_o searcher_n or_o sealer_n of_o leather_n shall_v refuse_v within_o convenient_a time_n to_o do_v his_o office_n or_o allow_v any_o ware_n which_o be_v sufficient_a in_o pain_n of_o 40_o s._n and_o shall_v not_o take_v bribe_n or_o exact_v more_o than_o due_a fee_n in_o pain_n of_o 20_o l._n nor_o be_v lawful_o elect_v shall_v refuse_v the_o office_n in_o pain_n of_o 10_o l._n liii_o all_o red_a tan_a leather_n which_o shall_v be_v bring_v within_o the_o aforesaid_a jurisdiction_n of_o london_n shall_v be_v carry_v to_o leaden-hall_n before_o it_o be_v house_v and_o there_o search_v seal_v and_o register_v by_o the_o officer_n aforesaid_a for_o which_o if_o it_o be_v seal_v before_o out_o of_o the_o say_a jurisdiction_n they_o shall_v take_v half_a fee_n only_o liv._o none_o shall_v sell_v any_o tan_a leather_n within_o the_o aforesaid_a jurisdiction_n of_o london_n before_o the_o officer_n there_o have_v search_v and_o seal_v it_o in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v the_o same_o or_o the_o value_n thereof_o lv._o none_o shall_v withstand_v the_o searcher_n and_o sealer_n in_o the_o due_a execution_n of_o their_o office_n nor_o the_o seize_v of_o insufficient_a ware_n in_o pain_n of_o 5_o l._n lvi_o the_o abovesaid_a searcher_n and_o sealer_n shall_v register_v all_o tan_a leather_n sell_v in_o fair_n or_o market_n together_o with_o the_o price_n thereof_o and_o the_o name_n and_o dwelling-place_n of_o the_o buyer_n and_o seller_n be_v thereunto_o require_v by_o the_o say_a buyer_n and_o seller_n take_v as_o well_o of_o the_o buyer_n as_o the_o seller_n 2_o d._n for_o every_o ten_o hide_n back_n or_o butt_n of_o leather_n and_o 2_o d._n for_o every_o six_o dozen_o of_o calf-skin_n or_o sheepskin_n and_o no_o more_o lvii_o none_o shall_v sell_v any_o tan_a leather_n red_a and_o unwrought_a before_o it_o be_v register_v in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v the_o value_n thereof_o lviii_o none_o shall_v buy_v any_o tan_a leather_n before_o it_o be_v search_v and_o seal_v nor_o carry_v it_o out_o of_o the_o fair_a or_o market_n before_o it_o be_v register_v in_o pain_n to_o forfeit_v the_o same_o or_o the_o value_n thereof_o lix_n the_o currier_n within_o the_o jurisdiction_n of_o london_n aforesaid_a which_o curry_v not_o his_o leather_n sufficient_o and_o every_o other_o artificer_n there_o use_v tan_v and_o curry_a leather_n which_o put_v into_o his_o ware_n leather_n insufficient_o tan_v or_o curry_v shall_v forfeit_v for_o every_o such_o default_n the_o say_a ware_n and_o the_o just_a value_n thereof_o lx._n no_o such_o artificer_n shall_v fell_v any_o ware_n but_o in_o open_a shop_n fair_a or_o market_n where_o due_a search_n may_v
