sabbath_n david_n say_v not_o only_o that_o he_o will_v declare_v god_n love_a kindness_n in_o the_o morning_n but_o his_o truth_n also_o in_o the_o night_n and_o paul_n be_v at_o troas_n teach_v until_o midnight_n and_o then_o celebrate_v the_o lord_n supper_n which_o be_v a_o sabbath_n day_n exercise_n thereby_o show_v that_o the_o night_n be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o sabbath_n also_o though_o neither_o yet_o do_v i_o speak_v it_o to_o this_o end_n that_o we_o shall_v keep_v it_o in_o the_o same_o manner_n as_o paul_n do_v i_o know_v it_o well_o it_o be_v extraordinary_a but_o yet_o nevertheless_o in_o the_o nature_n of_o a_o night_n we_o be_v more_o holy_o to_o repose_v ourselves_o that_o night_n than_o at_o other_o time_n a_o fault_n in_o those_o that_o other_o night_n pray_v with_o their_o family_n but_o this_o night_n overpasse_v it_o esteem_v it_o sufficient_a that_o they_o have_v pray_v at_o the_o church_n §_o sect._n 3_o but_o here_o i_o know_v it_o will_v be_v demand_v when_o the_o sabbath_n begin_v and_o whether_o we_o must_v keep_v the_o night_n before_o the_o sabbath_n or_o the_o night_n follow_v answ_n true_a it_o be_v that_o the_o jew_n keep_v their_o sabbath_n the_o night_n before_o the_o day_n for_o levit_fw-la 23._o 32._o from_o even_o to_o even_o shall_v you_o celebrate_v your_o sabbath_n but_o we_o begin_v our_o sabbath_n at_o the_o dawn_n of_o the_o day_n for_o these_o reason_n first_o because_o christ_n rise_v in_o the_o dawn_n it_o be_v necessary_a our_o sabbath_n be_v to_o be_v keep_v in_o remembrance_n thereof_o that_o our_o day_n that_o the_o night_n follow_v be_v account_v a_o part_n of_o the_o day_n precedent_n we_o see_v act._n 20._o vers_fw-la 7._o where_o it_o be_v say_v that_o paul_n preach_v at_o troas_n until_o midnight_n be_v the_o next_o morning_n to_o depart_v have_v stay_v there_o as_o the_o text_n show_v vers_n 6._o seven_o day_n but_o if_o the_o last_o night_n have_v not_o be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o that_o this_o night_n be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o sabbath_n which_o they_o then_o keep_v do_v yet_o further_o appear_v in_o that_o the_o apostle_n keep_v this_o night_n in_o the_o manner_n of_o a_o sabbath_n with_o perform_v the_o exercise_n of_o holiness_n therein_o as_o also_o in_o that_o be_v to_o depart_v he_o will_v not_o depart_v till_o the_o rest_n be_v end_v which_o i_o observe_v in_o that_o it_o be_v say_v ver_fw-la 11_o that_o he_o commune_v with_o they_o till_o the_o dawn_n of_o the_o day_n and_o so_o depart_v both_o which_o circumstance_n concur_v well_o with_o this_o to_o prove_v that_o he_o hold_v the_o night_n follow_v to_o be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o sabbath_n now_o if_o any_o man_n will_v say_v that_o by_o this_o reason_n we_o may_v justify_v the_o delivery_n of_o the_o word_n and_o sacrament_n in_o the_o night_n i_o grant_v it_o the_o time_n be_v as_o this_o be_v a_o time_n of_o persecution_n otherwise_o not_o but_o this_o to_o keep_v the_o night_n of_o the_o sabbath_n in_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o night_n i_o take_v to_o be_v no_o extraordinary_a but_o a_o ordinary_a thing_n such_o as_o be_v now_o also_o require_v of_o we_o and_o i_o press_v it_o no_o further_o than_o to_o show_v the_o practice_n of_o the_o church_n from_o which_o we_o ought_v not_o rash_o or_o unaduised_o to_o dissent_v and_o this_o have_v be_v observe_v ever_o sithence_o the_o apostle_n time_n to_o be_v just_a who_o keep_v the_o day_n first_o and_o call_v the_o night_n follow_v
