the_o grantee_n shall_v covenant_n to_o employ_v their_o people_n in_o great_a part_n in_o staple_n commodity_n as_o corn_n wine_n silk_n silk_n grass_n hemp_n flax_n pitch_n and_o tar_n pot-ash_n and_o soap-ash_n iron_n clapboord_n and_o other_o material_n and_o not_o whole_o or_o chief_o about_o tobacco_n and_o sassaphras_n cxv_o all_o grant_n of_o land_n in_o virginia_n to_o the_o old_a aduenturor_n their_o heir_n and_o assign_n that_o be_v to_o such_o as_o have_v heretofore_o bring_v in_o their_o money_n to_o the_o treasury_n for_o their_o several_a share_n be_v of_o twelve_o pound_n ten_o shilling_n the_o share_n shall_v be_v of_o one_o hundred_o acre_n the_o share_n upon_o the_o first_o division_n and_o of_o as_o many_o more_o upon_o a_o second_o division_n when_o the_o land_n of_o their_o first_o division_n shall_v be_v sufficient_o people_v and_o for_o every_o person_n which_o they_o shall_v transport_v thither_o before_o midsummer_n day_n one_o thousand_o six_o aduenturor_n or_o any_o of_o they_o do_v not_o true_o and_o effectual_o within_o one_o year_n next_o after_o the_o seal_n of_o the_o say_a grant_n pay_v and_o discharge_v all_o such_o sum_n of_o money_n wherein_o by_o subscription_n or_o otherwise_o upon_o notice_n thereof_o give_v from_o the_o auditor_n they_o stand_v indebt_v to_o the_o company_n or_o if_o the_o say_a aduenturor_n or_o any_o of_o they_o have_v not_o lawful_a right_n either_o by_o purchase_n from_o the_o company_n or_o by_o assignment_n from_o some_o other_o former_a aduenturor_n within_o one_o year_n after_o the_o say_a grant_n or_o by_o special_a gift_n of_o the_o company_n upon_o merit_n precede_v in_o a_o full_a quarter_n court_n to_o so_o many_o share_n as_o he_o or_o they_o pretend_v do_v not_o within_o one_o year_n after_o the_o say_v grant_v satisfy_v and_o pay_v to_o the_o say_a treasurer_n and_o company_n for_o every_o share_n so_o want_v after_o the_o rate_n of_o twelve_o pound_n ten_o shilling_n the_o share_n that_o then_o the_o say_a grant_n for_o so_o much_o as_o concern_v the_o whole_a part_n and_o all_o the_o share_n of_o the_o say_a person_n so_o behind_o and_o not_o satisfy_v as_o aforesaid_a shall_v be_v utter_o void_a cxvi_o all_o grant_n of_o land_n in_o virginia_n to_o new_a aduenturor_n that_o be_v to_o say_v to_o such_o as_o hereafter_o shall_v be_v free_a of_o the_o company_n pay_v the_o company_n for_o their_o share_n before_o midsummer_n 1625._o shall_v for_o their_o own_o person_n and_o share_n be_v of_o like_a condition_n with_o the_o former_a to_o all_o intent_n and_o purpose_n but_o for_o such_o other_o as_o shall_v at_o their_o charge_n be_v transport_v into_o virginia_n before_o the_o say_a midsummer_n 1625._o in_o manner_n afore_o say_v shall_v be_v reserve_v a_o yearly_a rent_n of_o twelve_o penny_n for_o every_o fifty_o acre_n acrew_v to_o they_o by_o virtue_n of_o such_o transportation_n to_o be_v answer_v to_o the_o say_a treasurer_n and_o company_n and_o their_o successor_n for_o ever_o after_o the_o first_o seven_o year_n of_o every_o such_o grant_n cxvii_o all_o grant_n to_o all_o other_o person_n not_o comprise_v in_o the_o two_o order_n last_o before_o set_v down_o that_o be_v to_o say_v to_o such_o planter_n as_o before_o midsummer_n day_n 1625._o shall_v go_v into_o virginia_n with_o intent_n there_o to_o inhabit_v if_o they_o continue_v there_o three_o year_n or_o die_v after_o they_o be_v ship_v there_o shall_v be_v grant_v make_v of_o fifty_o acre_n for_o every_o person_n upon_o a_o first_o division_n and_o as_o many_o more_o upon_o a_o second_o division_n the_o first_o be_v people_v which_o grant_v shall_v be_v make_v respective_o to_o such_o person_n and_o their_o heir_n at_o who_o charge_n the_o say_v person_n go_v to_o inhabit_v in_o virginia_n shall_v be_v transport_v with_o reservation_n of_o twelve_o penny_n yearly_a rent_n as_o aforesaid_a cxviii_o in_o all_o the_o foresay_a grant_n shall_v be_v insert_v a_o condition_n or_o proviso_n that_o the_o grantee_n shall_v from_o time_n to_o time_n make_v a_o true_a certificate_n to_o the_o say_a treasurer_n counseil_n and_o company_n from_o
