and_o it_o be_v conclude_v that_o this_o prophet_n represent_v all_o such_o as_o have_v be_v be_v and_o shall_v be_v bless_v with_o ability_n and_o gift_n faithful_o and_o diligent_o to_o interpret_v and_o fruitful_o and_o effectual_o to_o apply_v his_o holy_a word_n here_o you_o be_v certify_v as_o also_o in_o the_o first_o part_n that_o this_o prophet_n do_v signify_v both_o christ_n and_o all_o the_o true_a minister_n of_o his_o word_n and_o also_o that_o god_n of_o his_o mercy_n and_o goodness_n will_v never_o leave_v his_o church_n militant_a here_o upon_o the_o earth_n altogether_o destitute_a of_o sincere_a preacher_n of_o his_o word_n by_o which_o word_n the_o church_n must_v be_v direct_v and_o govern_v three_o i_o show_v what_o obedient_a ear_n must_v be_v give_v to_o this_o prophet_n you_o shall_v hear_v he_o in_o all_o thing_n etc_n etc_n upon_o occasion_n direct_o offer_v by_o these_o word_n i_o speak_v of_o two_o kind_n of_o hear_v the_o word_n of_o god_n the_o one_o outward_a and_o unprofitable_a the_o other_o inward_a and_o effectual_a to_o this_o latter_a kind_n of_o hear_v you_o be_v do_v to_o understand_v that_o faith_n and_o obedience_n be_v requisite_a and_o necessary_a and_o that_o for_o want_n of_o this_o faith_n and_o obedience_n neither_o papist_n nor_o car-carnall_a protestant_n can_v be_v just_o reckon_v in_o the_o number_n of_o true_a hearer_n and_o therefore_o as_o be_v note_v in_o the_o last_o member_n all_o these_o vain_a hearer_n of_o what_o sort_n soever_o they_o be_v shall_v be_v severe_o punish_v and_o that_o with_o a_o everlasting_a punishment_n they_o shall_v be_v destroy_v out_o of_o the_o people_n now_o dear_o belove_v in_o the_o lord_n sith_o all_o hearer_n of_o the_o holy_a word_n of_o god_n be_v preach_v either_o vain_a and_o fruitless_a hearer_n to_o their_o condemnation_n or_o true_a and_o fruitful_a hearer_n to_o their_o salvation_n it_o therefore_o behove_v we_o when_o we_o have_v hear_v the_o word_n to_o enter_v into_o our_o own_o conscience_n otherwise_o and_o straight_o examine_v ourselves_o how_o we_o have_v hear_v the_o same_o if_o we_o hear_v it_o only_o outward_o for_o fear_n for_o favour_n for_o fashion_n if_o we_o in_o this_o glass_n do_v behold_v the_o deformity_n of_o our_o body_n and_o soul_n and_o be_v careless_a to_o reform_v they_o if_o we_o hear_v usury_n oppression_n hear_n insatiable_a greediness_n of_o worldly_a thing_n pride_n epicurism_n wicked_a company_n blasphemy_n contempt_n of_o god_n word_n disobedience_n to_o his_o law_n adultery_n fornication_n idolatry_n superstition_n papistry_n witcheraft_n charm_a idleness_n in_o our_o several_a vocation_n malice_n towards_o our_o brethren_n deceitful_a deal_n if_o we_o hear_v these_o &_o other_o vice_n condemn_v to_o hell_n fire_n by_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o yet_o use_v they_o delight_n in_o they_o and_o let_v they_o be_v still_o familiar_o acquaint_v with_o we_o very_o very_o than_o this_o woeful_a &_o lamentable_a case_n must_v of_o necessity_n follow_v we_o deceive_v our_o own_o self_n we_o be_v disobedient_a hearer_n our_o faith_n 〈◊〉_d dead_a faith_n our_o house_n build_v upon_o
