present_a at_o such_o service_n and_o prayer_n which_o be_v read_v out_o of_o a_o book_n though_o something_n therein_o be_v or_o may_v be_v suppose_v to_o be_v faulty_a for_o form_n or_o matter_n in_o thing_n not_o fundamental_a nor_o border_v thereupon_o not_o pernicious_a or_o noxious_a but_o such_o as_o may_v be_v tolerate_v among_o brethren_n &_o these_o not_o disperse_v through_o the_o whole_a body_n of_o the_o book_n but_o in_o some_o passage_n only_o it_o be_v one_o thing_n to_o allow_v corruption_n another_o to_o be_v present_a at_o the_o service_n of_o god_n where_o something_o be_v do_v corrupt_o for_o the_o lord_n charge_v we_o to_o keep_v ourselves_o free_a from_o all_o pollution_n but_o allow_v not_o to_o separate_v from_o abuse_n unless_o he_o be_v please_v to_o go_v before_o and_o as_o he_o go_v before_o we_o it_o be_v one_o thing_n to_o approve_v of_o abuse_n in_o a_o liturgy_n another_o to_o tolerate_v what_o we_o can_v reform_v for_o a_o liturgy_n shall_v be_v frame_v so_o not_o that_o thing_n may_v be_v construe_v well_o but_o that_o they_o can_v be_v construe_v amiss_o but_o many_o thing_n may_v be_v suffer_v which_o be_v not_o so_o well_o ordain_v when_o it_o be_v not_o in_o our_o power_n to_o redress_v they_o the_o lord_n need_v not_o man_n lie_n neither_o do_v he_o allow_v we_o to_o do_v evil_a that_o good_a may_v come_v thereof_o and_o therefore_o i_o must_v not_o subscribe_v to_o a_o error_n against_o conscience_n though_o never_o so_o innocent_a nor_o profess_v approbation_n of_o that_o which_o in_o conscience_n i_o can_v allow_v though_o never_o so_o small_a to_o the_o intent_n i_o may_v enjoy_v external_a communion_n with_o the_o church_n of_o god_n in_o the_o ordinance_n of_o worship_n but_o i_o must_v tolerate_v many_o thing_n for_o the_o maintenance_n of_o peace_n and_o unity_n and_o the_o preservation_n of_o god_n worship_n for_o if_o there_o be_v not_o mutual_a toleration_n and_o forbearance_n but_o each_o man_n will_v rigid_o stand_v upon_o his_o own_o opinion_n and_o press_v other_o to_o be_v of_o his_o mind_n and_o follow_v his_o practice_n in_o all_o thing_n and_o every_o tittle_n of_o necessity_n all_o thing_n must_v fall_v into_o confusion_n and_o the_o church_n be_v rend_v almost_o into_o as_o many_o piece_n as_o there_o be_v man_n the_o proposition_n be_v prove_v 1._o first_o because_o they_o that_o allege_v the_o foresay_a fault_n or_o corruption_n against_o communicate_v with_o we_o in_o our_o public_a liturgy_n or_o stint_a prayer_n do_v themselves_o put_v small_a strength_n or_o none_o at_o all_o in_o this_o reason_n for_o suppose_v a_o chapter_n be_v somewhat_o unfit_o divide_v and_o break_v off_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o matter_n or_o now_o and_o then_o separate_a verse_n which_o shall_v go_v together_o or_o a_o verse_n be_v ill_o distinguish_v or_o the_o preacher_n misalledge_v a_o text_n of_o scripture_n or_o something_o be_v find_v amiss_o in_o his_o prayer_n when_o he_o exercise_v his_o own_o gift_n must_v i_o of_o necessity_n separate_v from_o that_o ordinance_n of_o god_n or_o reject_v the_o good_a for_o that_o which_o be_v amiss_o hereunto_o this_o answer_n be_v return_v when_o the_o minister_n exercise_v his_o own_o gift_n 26._o god_n ordinance_n be_v observe_v wherewith_o i_o may_v communicate_v in_o pray_v as_o well_o as_o preach_v notwithstanding_o his_o infirmity_n in_o either_o which_o be_v but_o personal_a and_o in_o such_o case_n the_o rule_n warrant_v man_n to_o try_v all_o thing_n and_o to_o hold_v that_o which_o be_v good_a 1._o thess_n 5._o 21._o but_o when_o the_o liturgy_n be_v read_v a_o ordinance_n which_o be_v not_o of_o god_n but_o of_o man_n be_v introduce_v into_o god_n worship_n contrary_a to_o the_o second_o commandment_n and_o therefore_o i_o must_v reject_v it_o and_o have_v no_o communion_n with_o it_o be_v not_o this_o in_o plain_a term_n to_o grant_v that_o the_o corruption_n allege_v can_v be_v no_o cause_n of_o separation_n but_o this_o only_a because_o it_o be_v the_o devise_n of_o man_n the_o corruption_n allege_v be_v not_o the_o cause_n because_o they_o may_v be_v find_v in_o translation_n the_o distinction_n of_o chapter_n and_o verse_n the_o preach_n
