etc._n etc._n also_o that_o the_o church_n may_v in_o relation_n to_o the_o officer_n be_v servant_n therein_o be_v call_v a_o lord_n etc._n etc._n and_o for_o this_o he_o quote_v my_o book_n p._n to_o the_o officer_n which_o may_v also_o more_o clear_o appear_v to_o he_o that_o read_v the_o place_n he_o quote_v in_o the_o margin_n wherein_o he_o conclude_v though_o more_o covert_o a_o double_a untruth_n the_o one_o that_o because_o the_o government_n of_o the_o officer_n be_v only_o ministerial_a and_o not_o kingly_a therefore_o there_o be_v no_o kingly_a power_n leave_v unto_o the_o church_n or_o communicate_v with_o the_o saint_n for_o the_o suppress_n of_o sin_n the_o other_o that_o because_o the_o officer_n be_v the_o only_a governor_n of_o the_o church_n and_o so_o by_o we_o acknowledge_v therefore_o they_o only_o have_v the_o power_n of_o christ._n and_o thus_o he_o will_v close_o wrap_v up_o the_o church_n power_n in_o the_o officer_n government_n and_o not_o be_v see_v in_o it_o for_o the_o clear_n then_o of_o the_o difference_n between_o government_n and_o power_n it_o must_v be_v consider_v that_o by_o government_n may_v either_o be_v understand_v the_o whol●●●●●ensation_n of_o christ_n kingly_a office_n whither_o inward_a or_o outward_a whither_o by_o himself_o or_o up_o other_o and_o so_o this_o power_n we_o speak_v of_o be_v comprehend_v under_o it_o as_o a_o part_n thereof_o or_o it_o be_v take_v more_o strict_o for_o the_o guidance_n and_o order_v of_o the_o church_n in_o her_o public_a affair_n and_o the_o administration_n and_o execution_n of_o they_o and_o so_o it_o appertain_v to_o the_o officer_n and_o be_v clean_a another_o thing_n then_o the_o power_n in_o question_n for_o the_o prove_v of_o this_o difference_n the_o apostle_n paul_n wryte_n to_o the_o whole_a church_n of_o corinth_n to_o excommunicate_v the_o incestuous_a man_n 5.4.5_o by_o the_o power_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ._n this_o power_n he_o will_v have_v the_o whole_a church_n to_o use_v but_o yet_o will_v not_o have_v the_o whole_a church_n to_o become_v governor_n nor_o to_o take_v upon_o they_o government_n but_o the_o officer_n
